I hav eworn many teva sandals and these are the worst! I have never really had to Break in a pair of sandals. The adjustment on these are the worse. Every time I think I have them right in short order they are loose. The footbed is the perfect size for me. When I put them on great when I walk my big toe is off the front of the sandal. This exist no matter what adjustments I try.

I have had many pairs of Tevas over a 30+ year period. I have used them canoeing, kayaking, fishing, cycling, around the farm etc. This pair is the least satisfactiory for securing my feet in place. I think I would loose them in swift water. Heel strap is too low or angled wrong. Tightening pushes foot off the front of the foot bed.

Buckle-strap interface isn't snug; after setting the desired fit, the sandal loosens. Foot slides forward, endangering toes. Running isn't feasible. Buckle design could allow for step-in and one-handed fastening, but it doesn't. The padding pieces are unnecessary and also interfere with fit and step-in. The sole makes one wonder if it grips securely on river rock. Haven't checked that out thoroughly yet.

I bought these because I love how they look but they are not great to wear. The strap to tighten down the buckle comes loose after a couple steps. Also, the Velcro straps are too long. You need to tighten them down so that your foot doesn't slide forward. They stick out if you tighten the Velcro down even just a tiny bit. I hope they resolve these two issues cause they're comfortable and nice looking otherwise.

I love the look and feel of the shoe but have to tighten the strap every few steps while walking. I wish I kept the box longer to return them.

I thought I could fit into a Size 9 since there was no intermediate size like 8 1/2. I like the shoe, but the straps are pulled as tight as possible and stick out and flap around. However, when I wear a pair of socks it almost feels O.K.

I have been a faithful customer of Teva sandals for over 25 years because the sandals have always been high quality, durable and comfortable footwear. However, the last couple pairs I've purchased have fallen apart in short order. I purchased these sandals in March, and I wore them not more than a dozen times this summer and the strap pulled out of the sole of the sandal. These sandals were not worn in extreme conditions. They are not repairable. Additionally, the buckle on these sandals would not stay tight and they were always lose on my feet. I think I may give up on Teva sandals and find another sandal of higher quality.

I've worn Tevas for years. The only problem is that the Velco wears out a long time before the rest of the shoe. So I bought these Hurricanes because they use clips and not velcro. But they don't fit as well. They don't hold on to my feet, so I can't use them in my packraft, because they come off in running water, and they don't form fit like the others. So, stay with the normal Tevas

I like the look but I feel like I got a defective pair because the strap with the buckle keeps coming loose. Because of this I need to keep tightening the strap like every quarter of a mile or so.

Trying to adjust the snap cross strap tight enough was a problem because velcro end could not take up the slack. Adjustment, from the heel didn't help much either, it pushed my foot too far forward. Nice looking, but not a good fit for me. Thank you.

Sandals are difficult to get to fit properly

I selected this product because of the plastic clip method of attaching the straps when it is put on. That part is good, but i do not like the increased number of straps, some diagonal. And the quality seems cheaper that my old ones, which are still in use, and preferred.

I've worn Tevas for over 25 years. Always loved them, these, not so much. The strap design has changed. These cannot be tightened enough in the right places. They are loose and they move on your feet.

I love my 1006912 and got a backup pair being I liked them so much. My feet get very hot so I wear sandals year round. My 1006912s are now worn out and I have purchased three different styles hoping one of them might be a suitable replacement. Unfortunately they haven't been. Please bring back the 1006912!

One shoe did not fit.

the orignal cross strap hurricane is my favorite shoe ever - i have owned it for 5+ years with more than 5000 miles on it - the soles are ready for an upgrade so I bought a couple new pairs of tevas - the quality, fit, and comfortable are trash. Super disappointed and will have to go find a new brand for future purchases after buying only teva products for last years (10+ pairs) - my fiance is having the same issue as well. I have even turned a few dozen people on to the awesomeness of former tevas who all feel dissapointed in the new products.

I had an earlier version of this model and absolutely loved them: walking, biking, hiking-everything! These sandals are not even wearable. They slip off, I get blisters where the straps rub, and I just can't comfortably do any sports while wearing them. What happened TEVA?!!!

I guess you were shooting for a newer style (as was I, I guess) but reworking the heel strap to lay below the heel bone at the back of the foot makes the strap useless and frustratingly uncomfortable. Cannot wear other than for very, very short periods of time. Would not buy again.

Got these for a hiking and water activities trip was horrible for this the Velcro was unable to hold.

This is nothing like the teva's I usually get. They are undersized, different feel ,heel strap is too low, just kinda cheap. I guess that's why they were on sale and the good ones aren't.

Worn Teva Sandler for 20 years. These were the only ones I could find anymore with buckles. I require significant arch support. These had next to zero. Returned.

The strap keeps loosening up , it's a huge annoyance

I had to return these Sandals as the adjustment on the section that clips would not hold its adjusted position. My husband needed them tightened and that plastic piece of the sandal did not do what it was supposed to do. Very disappointing as he's been wearing Tevas for years.
