The sandal's adjustment straps cannot accommodate a narrow foot.

Great style, and got a lot of compliments, but the sandals always slid so that my feet were almost hanging over the front edge. Had my roommate with smaller feet try them, and the same happened with him. Seems to be about the way the straps are aligned.
Anyway, unwearable in the city because they require constant adjustment. They do look nice, though.

I have wide feet do they are super tight especially in the front. My pinky toe is smashed in them. I like the design and color but they just now wide enough.

sooo these are my first Tevas...the diagonal strap loosens up as i walk which is annoying because im constantly adjusting them!!! i am obsessed with the color and style but comfort wise theyre OKAY. its fine when u first wear them but then as it loosens its too big and ur foot feels like its going to slip out. i will have to buy the og tevas before i give my final opinion on the brand.

The new Hurricane Verge style, although comfortable, has a lot of strapping assembled on the top of the sandal....the snap clip closure is kind of awkward to snap closed when putting the sandal on.....not as easy as the traditional sandal with the Teva velcro closures...&, my usual size 10 was just a tad smaller than any other Teva sandal ever purchased.

Don't like the strap around your ankle, compared to the typical Teva. My foot moves around way too much. Very annoying!!!!!

Had to return because the front strap wasn't long enough to clasp across my wide feet. Too bad, they're really nice looking sandals.

I wish you would bring back the model 1006912. The best sandal for my feet. I have purchased three different pair and none of them fit as well. My feet get hot and sweaty so I wear sandals inside the entire year. My last pair of the 1006912's are nearly shot and I'm going to be in a world of hurt when I have to go with something else:(

These sandals are quality, low stars is more for misleading sizing. These are made for men's feet or a very very wide female foot. I wear a woman's 8 and the 8 was too big and way to wide and I have a wide foot. Hoping Teva makes this beautiful green in true woman's sizing. Disappointed that the only color available in woman's is pink...

I love the design of this Teva Hurricane Verge and I did my best to make it work. There seems to be a design flaw. I adjusted the strap that hugs the foot but no matter how tight or loose you go, your foot keeps on slipping forward that your toes are touching the edge of the sandal. Felt so sad that I have to return it.

These run small and narrow. The outermost strap attachment is right against my little toe, so they become very uncomfortable after about 30 minutes. Seem well made, but they, along with the other pair I purchased, will be going to the second-hand store.

Adjustable straps were bulky, and heel strap sits too low, and slides down.

The straps crossing the toes are about 2 to 2-1/2" too long which leaves a piece of fabric flopping with each step. A sloppy look, indeed.

These may be great for outdoors or a muddy conditions. Indoors they have minimal grip and were especially challenging in wet areas.

The shoes fits too tight in the front part of my foot. I have two pairs of Teva's and both fit too tight on the front.

I returned these after one day of testing them out. I wanted a sandal with a buckle and this was the only one available. I didn't think I would like the new cross strap design but decided to give it a try anyway since it was the only option. I felt that the cross strap design covered too much of my foot, defeating the purpose of wearing a sandal. Additionally, it didn't stay on my foot securely enough unless the straps were pulled uncomfortably tight. I much rather prefer the older ankle strap design.

I love the bulkier look of these sandals, but the toe area is incredibly narrow and uncomfortable. I wanted to make them work but it was impossible.

Really wanted a Teva (like the original Teva's) that had padding on the back sides of all the straps, but, these have no way to keep your foot from sliding forward so you take 3 steps and foot flies forward or out. They also ran both short and narrow as compared to other Teva sandals.

My Hurricane Verge sandals were pretty beat and i've initiated a return. they fit perfectly, but then when walking for even 20 minutes the straps begin to loosen, particularly the strap fastened with a buckle. The other straps were way too long, and i had to tighten them almost past where they would fasten to the velcro, so that was a big flaw in design as well. I think this is just a poorly designed model of TEVA sandals Hurricane Verge is a big swing and a miss. Useless on a hiking trail. I hope I am more satisfied with a different model.

The shoes are very stylish and comfortable yet the clasp on the top of the shoes doesn't where you adjusted them to. As you walk they become loose.

The sandals are really pretty, but the front straps are about an inch too short and squish my toes badly, even with the transgender size with longer straps. My only alternative is to slide the foot back, but the fit is off, looking like too much vacant space on the front of the sandal. They straps become loose and need constant tightening. Would not work for a lot of walking. This is probably a great sandal with someone without being wide or swollen in the instep area. I am trying to stretch them out, hoping if I get them wet, they will stretch a bit. It is a painful process, but I didn't try to wear them until the weather got warmer and it is too late to return them.

These are OK, but the strap system is overly complicated when compared with the Toachi, and I find myself having to re-tighten frequently, which is a little annoying. I bought these when I couldn't find another pair of the Toachi online in my size, but now I'll try hunting a little harder. I'd still recommend them, but I see them as a downgrade from t he Toachi, which is perfect, IMO.
