I decided to make these my first pair of Teva's but will be exchanging them. I am a size 9.5 in mens but ordered a size 9. They seemed to fit okay but they fit really tight in the front. My small toe on my right foot seemed to be squished. These were not comfortable to wear for a few hours. If your foot isn't as wide, then I don't think they would be an issue. I wanted to like them so bad because they look so cool but were not comfortable to me.

Love the style and durability of these sandals. They're my third pair and I love them except they are maybe a little to big for my feet so I really have to clamp down and it causes the buckle to dig into the skin of my feet.

I don't know if I have weird feet or not but can't seem to find the sweet spot for how to wear these. I've settled on kinda loose and use mostly as shoes for when I know I won't be walking a lot. My hope was to use them in place of sneakers this Spring for my daily walk of about 3 miles, but these give me random discomfort/hot spots/redness no matter what I try. Tried with socks and that doesn't work good too - got blisters on the sole of my foot from the friction. They look amazing but only good for about a mile of walking. The are very adjustable so not really too big/small or wide/narrow - I dunno

I bought as a sales item.
Ok, but to many straps,
Takes awhile to get on.

Usually, buckle sandals use some Velcro on the strap with the buckle. As of when I bought my Hurricane Verge (Aug 2023), there was no Velcro on that strap, and the material is too slippery for the buckle to catch it, and as a result, these straps tend to loosen on my feet as I walk. Comfortable sandals, but looking for a replacement that won't do that. (I hate the fact that Velcro-close sandals have the Velcro wear out while there's still plenty of life left in the rest of the materials, but Teva doesn't make any other open-toe buckle sandals anymore, looks like it won't be from them).

Like the quick closure instead of Velcro but prefer the strap across the the top of the ankle.

Buckle is kind of a pain to use. Also strap design just doesn't fit as good as the velcro ones. Was hoping it would be like the velcro ones but with out the velcro issues of it attracting stuff.

Weather permitting, I wear my Teva sandals most of the time. The Hurricane Verge has the crossed straps, which don't work well with me. They cause my foot to be too far forward and they won't tighten enough to move it back. I prefer the Katavi/original style with the strap straight across. But I like the clasp since the Velcro/hook & loop does load up with things like cheat grass. I have 3 Teva sandals now and wear them all, but the Verge just won't be my first choice.

This was a warranty return that was mishandled by your associate. After explaining the facts 3 or 4 times with no satisfaction I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was placed on hold until he was available but once on the line he quickly recognized that my claim was valid and the incorrect amount was credited. The experience was most frustrating. I like the product but would prefer to deal with a more consumer friendly company.

I love the sandalsthey are comfortable & durable, butthe strap loosens very easily, and they need constant tightening. Back to the design board

I usually order a 12 from teva and they fit great but this model is quite oversized. I find myself slipping out of the straps when casually walking. No wonder they were 50% off!

I have had these sandals for a good couple of months now, and they are pretty nice. The problem is, they squish the ball of your foot (the base of your toes) to the point that I have actually felt them go numb a few times. You can loosen them while you're sitting around, but you need the front strap tight if you plan on walking any sort of distance to keep them on your foot properly.
I've found that tightening the long diagonal cross strap helps to keep your foot from sliding too far forward, but it loosens easily as it's just part of the buckle.
I have to switch between these and my Hurricane XLT 2's, never wearing these two days in a row as I need to give my feet time to relax after being squished in the Verges.

I've been wearing TEVAS since the 80's(former raft guide)
The new ones aren't made as well and are not nearly as comfortable as the TEVAS of old

The shoes fit great, but the straps won't tighten enough on my feet for an ideal fit, they feel a bit loose. I don't know if I can wear these hiking because they're always too loose. I will try to add some Velcro to make them tighten more on each strap.

I fell in love with the color which is like jeans and very practical. The design looks like the sandal is functional and stylish. The base or sole is perfect. I recently purchased the Hurricane XLT2 sandal and there is ample room for my triangle feet with a narrow ankle and C width at the toe box. I have a fairly normal female foot! This Verge sandal has a massive design flaw at the toe box and also in the diagonal strap. The toe area is SO narrrow that I could not even bring the two velcros to even touch. As a matter of fact, the edge of each of them are an inch away from touching! One would have to have extremely narrow feet in order to even get the velcros to join a little. Then the diagonal strap with the clasp was too big even though I have a high instep and even though I tightened it as far as it goes. I gave 3 stars because the sandal is so beautiful and if only I could buy something that looks like this but actually fits! With sadness, I must return these and go back to the XLT2's.

Ok for casual use but doesn't hold foot firmly enough on rougher terrain. Feels too loose even when constantly tightening buckle. Any smaller size and my toes overhang.

Really love the look and feel of these but the strap coming from the buckles comes loose constantly and you have to continually re tighten them.

There are many things I like about the sandal like the sole and styling but I find it very challenging to adjust the steps to get a good fit.

I don't like the plastic snaps (because they give and I have to tighten them constantly) my preference would have been the Velcro

I got these for the color and thought it was nice to have an easy buckle instead of the typical velcro. Unfortunately the strap continues to loosen through the buckle, so need to retighten on walks/hikes. Hoping that with some more wear and dirt that the issue will lessen.
