These felt heavy (especially as they are basically a foam bottom and nylon straps. They also felt a half size too big and the straps to adjust them were clunky and horrible. No matter how much I tried adjusting them, I could never get them to feel comfortable. I am really surprised that Merrell would sell such a poorly designed shoe, as they've been my go-to brand for a long time because I can usually wear them right out of the box without any issues. Oh well, back to Zappos they go.

The shoes fit fine but after wearing about an hour, the straps would not stay fastened. I almost fell wearing them as they were so loose after wearing a short time. Not the Merrill’s I am used to wearing.

In Merrell boots I go up a size to 9 1/2, but an 8 in these sandals are a perfect fit. They're very comfortable and I plan to use them hiking on an ocean trip.

These were comfortable, and ran true to size but they are like the cargo pants of shoes, just hideous. I have very flat feet and there was not much arch support which was perfect for me but the straps were so bulky. Also the logo is engraved in a place on the shoe that was bothersome for me. I returned.

I love this shoe. Perfect fit, comfort and cute. Only problem is that the buckle does not keep the strap secure, so I am constantly having to tighten it. I am just wearing them around town right now. Had hoped to wear for light hiking as well, but not sure it would work to well with the strap issue. I kind expect better quality from Merrell. Hopefully they will fix this issue. If they did, I would definitely buy another pair.

These were great for camping and hiking in Yosemite, but after a few days I couldn’t get the straps to stay in place and it was super frustrating.

I totally loved these sandals except for the toe ridge which was too much for me. It is hard to return them.

These sandals are very comfortable and stylish. I have 2 pairs. I have worn one pair on a 4.5 mile mountain hike and since they have a tread they worked great. They also great for everyday wear. The Velcro strap in the back can stick out if you have them to tight but loosen it up a bit and tighten the other straps.

I say these fit "true to size", but that means they fit the way all Merrells fit me if I order a half-size larger(7) than my regular size(6-1/2). They are medium width as labeled (only option); since I have narrow feet, by time I tighten up straps there are ends sticking out - not sleek, but they do fit securely and comfortably. Good arch support, which is another thing I expect of Merrells. Thick shock-absorbing sole. Web-page called color burgundy, but they are really true purple. But having worn them around house a little beforehand to "make sure", I comfortably walked a brisk two miles in them this morning, and have kept them on for rest of day. For those who care, they are entirely manufactured of man-made materials. I recommend them.

Thinking that I needed a comfortable sandal to walk in during an upcoming vacation, I purchased these sandals based on the depth of the sole and the lined, adjustable straps. They are wonderful, no break-in needed and comfortable for hours of walking. Love them and highly recommend.
