Insole keep coming out of shoe and sliding while wearing them. Also the fabric split open on the side near the ball of my feet.

These shoes are extremely uncomfortable, it's like the internal design of these shoes are not made to walk in. They are unique in appearance, but do not wear them for a full day especially if you are hiking.

Extremely disappointed in these shoes. Started coming apart on day 2 of wear, not on rough trails at all. Fabric at the toe started peeling away. Not the quality I expected

Received these in Nov and wore them around the house for about a month. Not bad; felt pretty good. But then decided to use them as daily trail runners for my morning job 50-50 mix paved trail - woods trail. In 2 weeks, both shoes have begun coming apart / tearing near the front on each side. I have never owned a shoe that wore out or came apart like that. It's hard to imagine that what's billed as a rugged sneaker actually has poor craftsmanship behind it. Completely disappointed.

Cheapest shoes I've ever bought will look for better running shoe

I received these on June 13 and is now September 16. I live in a rural area with sand/gravel roads and use the to walk my dog. I have since put about 35 miles in on these shoes and the upper is starting to separate from the lower. The foam and sole are also not holding up all that great and I suspect they will not last much longer than a year with this amount of wear in 3 months of mild use.

Fit great. Light weight. Great trail walking shoe.

Garbage shoes, the toe came apart in about 3 weeks. The 'waterproof' coating lasted about 6 weeks and now my socks get soaked walking across grass dew. Definately not worth the price, poor quality and poor support.

The sole came off after first use. It is a comfortable shoe, but I hadn't wore them an hour before the Vibram bottom separated from the shoe.

Really appreciate the fact they were water proof and comfortable but they fell apart after wearing them a few months.

Comfortable. Good looking. Not durable. With little use, I have superglued the bottom "vibram" sole 3 times and now they are useless. The edges all fall apart and vibram is only the middle.

I really liked these and switched them to being my everyday shoe. 2 months in and the wedding has started to fray in one spot. Very comfortable, but I'm really disappointed in the durability. Maybe I got a defective pair.

It stays too huge in your feet and uncomfortable for running or any other sport activities

I have several pairs of casual shoes and I seldom wear the same pair two days in a row. In 2019 and 2020 I purchased two pairs of Nova. Both shoes have had the same failure - mesh material on right shoe wore through while the rest of the shoe is perfectly usable. 2020 shoe shown in photo.

tried 10.5-to long but felt good. re-ordered a 10-could not get my foot in???

I was elated to find a Vegan men's shoe that came in a wide width. After less than three months of wear, both of my big toes began to push through the top mesh, creating a big rip in the shoe. Fortunately, Merrell guaranteed their shoes and offered me credit for another pair of shoes.

Why only black in wide width. Otherwise I would purchase.

These Nova 2 shoes arrived with two of the lace eyelets on the left shoe pulled out. Disappointing experience.

Excited to get the Nova 2, ordered two pair. Got a lot of compliments on the way they looked.They are very comfortable, light weight, dry fast and look great but after 70 miles the Vibram soles tore out. The Nove 2 would be great for casual walks in the woods but not distance hiking or trail running. Would recommend these for daily use but nothing too extreme. Hoping Merrell will introduce a " Nova HD " with a rugged thicker Vibram sole then these will be perfect.

Feels like your wearing a open back shoe. Constant heel lift.

I had a hard time getting the sizing right for this shoe. The non-wide was very narrow so I had to order the wide from the website. I'm usually a 10.5 or 11 but after 3 orders, the 10 wide fit best. I had these for 2 months and put about 100 miles on them before the inner treadwall on one of the shoes became separated from the shoe and the inner heel cushioning totally collapsed, causing me to walk very unevenly. Merrell stuck to their warranty and gave me a credit but I've switched to a different model with a different sole and foam. Too bad, because it's a really nice looking shoe, especially in the olive green. They were pretty comfortable with a good feel for the trail, but not a good shoe in the northeast as the tread grip on wet rock is very poor and difficult to trust in anything but very dry conditions.
