Was looking for a shoe to transition from wet to dry and have the comfort and support to run in when called upon...The Moab Speed Mid GORE-TEX fit the bill hands down. Fall and Spring are always a challenge for outdoor activity and the finding the right shoe to deal with wet conditions while being able to run in is good news. Very happy with this shoe.

Very light good for concrete waterproof!!! Backflow inspector for state of Indiana and Kentucky bummed that I bought the last pair, I want another pair to keep clean....

Excellent product. I have been wearing Merrell's for years. Always fit my feet well right out of the box. I own both the low and mid speed shoes. Low non gore-Tex are my summer shoes and mid gore-Tex are my fall and spring shoes. Thermo chills are for winter. All great shoes!

Those are good quality shoes, the materials are really great, well made and very confortable shoes, They were the best shoes to take to the Andean mountains and some city touring. The sizing was just like the size chart indicates.

Comfortable right out of the box! I'll use these outdoors, but also wear them everyday for work.

Great construction and fits true to size. Hard sole is solid for hiking and the grip is amazing; no sliding at all when hiking down loose dirt slopes.

These Moab mid speed are comfotable straight out of the box . No break in needed. I have a wider foot and they fit really well. I've hiked snow and mud and hopped creeks and my feet stay dry and warm . They are extremely light weight which I really appreciate and the sole grips well and the bed is very comfortable . I got size 8 1/2 goretex version . They fit true to size . I ordered another pair in 9's so that I can wear my fat wool socks in colder weather next snow season. I highly recommend these if you've tried other hikers that were too tight or too heavy or blistered your feet . Favorite shoes ever!!!!

I'm very pleased with these boots so far. 100% waterproof, lightweight and good traction. Pretty good ankle support. EXTREMELY comfortable! They are the most expensive boots I've ever purchased. But are by far, the best I've had. I do walk a fair amount on pavement with them and noticed the treads are wearing pretty quick from it. But they're not designed for that surface. All in all an excellent purchase. I can run comfortably in these as well. I've never been able to say that about any other hikers I've had.

This is my go-to shoe as a walking mailman. I average about 12 1/2 miles a day, and I love the added stability that a mid shoe offers. This shoe is nice and light, and the goretex offers water protection. The only negative is that the goretex tears easily, so just watch your step.

Great fit, Moab comfort and perform in all wet conditions, including snow.

Comfortable shoes, very good ankle support and so far the GoreTex works as advertised. Also, very good traction on ice with the Vibram soles. Minor negative, is the white sole shows all the mud, but that is nitpicking.

Lightest GTX everShoe fits well and doesn't weigh me down. Love them.

Great in the winter. Warm with grip. And people ask about them too. Does that mean they're warm and cool at the same time?

Merrell customer service has been great. I had an issue with a couple of previous purchases and they went above and beyond what I asked for. These hikers are light and the Vibram soles have great grip. In the past I have used Merrell's own M Select Dry waterproof system and they are not totally waterproof, more water resistant. But now I buy the Gore-Tex version of the shoes I want for complete waterproofing.

I only buy Merrell boots. Great quality and they always ship very fast. Highly recommended.

purchased the Moab speed Mid GTX's about a month ago, and have already put close to 40 trail miles on them. No break in period. Comfortable and ready to go right out of the box. I LOVE these hikers. They're very light and supportive. the Gore-tex seems to be holding up well. I've stood in 2-3 inches of standing water with no leaks. Wishing i would have purchased these sooner!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! From the first time I put them on my feet felt like they were in heaven. I have since installed my orthotics in them and the feel and fit is even better. I plan to wear these as everyday shoes this winter and fall. They will also do a lot of dog walking in all kinds of weather. I really wanted the Gore -Tex because of possible wet conditions. I love them so much I plan on purchasing another pair!

Having developed a foot sore with a prior shoe that I used to love, I thought I would check these Moabs out as they looked very similar to the Salomon Speedcross 3's I have run into the ground. Comfort-wise, it's like walking on foam; strong cushion and super lightweight. My foot issue is no longer a problem (Merrell always seem to have wider footprints inside the shoe). Finally, they look terrific and not like shoes your dad would wear with long crew socks. Already planning a backup pair.
