I started using Merrell's back in 2015 just because I live and work in the mountain ranges of Northeastern California. We have four seasons here and there are times when the snow and ice are just too much for "regular" footwear. Not to mention a lot of rugged terrain. I have relied on my MOAB boots and low cuts to give my feet the protection and comfort I need but I have always longed for a pair of Merrell's that would give me better everyday extended-walking comfort. I finally found that in the MOAB Speed. It's like the All-Wheel Drive of hiking shoes! It helps me stay on my feet, comfortably, the whole day at work.

I usually need a wider fir but as a medium this shoe fits me very well.

I bought these for a trip to Costa Rica, they where excellent. Every day was raining so the trails where always muddy and with lots of puddles and I rarely got my socks wet. The grip on these is also very good. The laces often got loose but with a double knot you should be alright

Bought these last month and debuted them on a 5-hour gorilla trek in Uganda. Great grip, comfort and lightweight on dirt trails that were steep and narrow

Super light and comfortable can wear these shoes all day with no pain. Good traction. I am very happy with my purchase

I just bought a new pair after many years of hiking Recording several hundred miles. Most recently in Sedona, Camp Verde and Tucson Arizona.

One of the most comfortable shoes I've worn. Just back from a 16 day Europe trip where we did a ton of walking each day and Moab Speed provided me comfort and support. I am definitely buying Merrell shoes in the future.

Super comfy size perfect but a tad slippery for my liking im a below the knee amputee was hoping for more of a grease resistant type sole other then that great shoes

Traction exceeded my expectations and waterproof qualities are great. Wore these to the Rocky Mountains for the hike to sky pond and got me thru the entire thing with no issues. Extremely comfortable with little to no break-in period. As for longevity, I'll have to see but amazing thus far.

This is a new style for me, a cross for trail walking/hiking. What a nice surprise. Very comfortable with great traction and stability. Still waiting on long term use results but I like them so far.

I bought these shoes to replace a pair that I used for OCR. The first pair of OCR shoes I ever had were Merrell All Out Crush 2 (sadly they no longer make these). The Moab Speed work great, I have great traction through the mud and over the obstacles, along with excellent drainage from the water obstacles. Most importantly they are comfortable. Thanks Merrell.

Merrell Moab Speed fits me very well. It's a very comfortable shoe. I found that no break-in time is required. The fit is right on. They're suitable for hiking and normal street walking. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase.
