Cushioning is amazing, but responsive enough to push the pace a bit even in easy runs. The inside is super comfortable.

I have had these and go on runs in them. They are extremely comfortable compared to other shoes I have owned. (ON, Nike, adidas). They seem to want to roll my ankles slightly inward. They do scuff very easily.

I have multiple types of Hoka running shoes, but my favorite road shoe is the Mach. Super light and comfortable.

After running on it a couple of times it feels easy on the knee.

Have tried basically every model that Hoka has made, these are just simply the best.

This is my second pair of Mach 4s. It's been like magic, my sore knees have disappeared. Works for distance and tempo and to my Dupree's I'm quite happy with them for speed work. (My so called speed work lol). I'm hooked.

Mach 4 is a great option for short distance racing. Very light weight, responsive, and comfortable.

All without sacrificing style!

Toe box could be a bit wider.

I wear the Mach 4 when I go running or walking (3-5k every morning; sometimes I walk, sometimes I run). The cushioning is really great for my feet, especially my toes, which really take a beating when I play tennis, so it's great to have shoes for running and walking that give me some extra comfort. I bought a second pair after trying the first pair for a week. My second pair is the blue and citrus colors. Really great.

I've been running in this shoe for a little less than a month now and so far it's one of my favorite shoes I've ever had. It feels fantastic on runs. Not too tight on the toes and allows for good energy return with every step. Love the look. I haven't tried many hokas except for one pair that I didn't like at a local running store and now I wanna try em all. Big fan of the small heel drop.

The Mach Hoka's did not feel right for me. I easily returned and got a different style.

I am an long time recreational runner for weight control and overall health - 3-5 times a week 3-5 miles per run, never to my max limit. I had been running in Nike since the late 70's with an occasional Asics Gel thrown in. Now in my early 60s I was still happy with Nike until I stumbled across a review of the Hoka Mach. I was curious how they would compare to my Nike shoe and I love the Hoka. There is more stability all around and my speed is up a tic. I was so impressed I ordered a second pair right away in all black to wear at work.

These shoes are PERFECT. So fast. So light. Perfect comfort and lockdown. Aside from the Carbon x2, these are the best shoes I've ever worn. These shoes currently hold my PR mile time.

Plush, comfortable ride. Perfectly suited for base miles, long slow distance runs and light interval training.

I'm a life-long Nike wearer but after some issues with the recent Phantom's, decided to give Hoka a try. These did not dissapoint! I purchased the Mach 4's along with a pair of Nike Pegasus and can say while I love them both, the Mac 4's have exceeded my expectations. I'm 33 and average about 30-40 miles a week. Recently, I was having knee issues but the upgrade has helped lessen the load on my joints. Definitely worth a shot for anyone considering Hoka for the first time!

I run on average 70-80 miles a month and have been a huge New Balance fan for some years. Had friends recommend the Mach 4's and I've been blown away. Can't speak to durability yet as I've only had them for 2 months (holding up great). I can say it is extremely lightweight and very comfortable. Took only about 2 runs to break in which is a record for me as well. Now I'm an Avid Hoka fan!!

Not sure why the best sneaker in the fleet is not in any local stores. It's the best overall and recommended it !
