I want to offer a counterpoint to all the positive reviews submitted, as my experience was not as good as so many others. I'm a fairly sedentary man in his late 50s. After a recent visit to Chicago where I was walking about 4 miles a day for multiple days, I discovered that my legs were tiring and my knees in particular, which never normally bother me, were feeling some pain and stiffness. So, I wanted to upgrade my shoes. I had passes a Hoka store in Chicago, but I was not familiar with the brand as it isn't sold locally. My daughter, however, informed me that they were very good shoes, so I ordered these online when I returned home. First, I was a bit disappointed that because I chose shoes that were on sale, that I would have to pay for shipping. I found that to be a bit of a cheap shot, but I still paid it as I learned that if I needed to make any exchanges, that all additional shipping to and from the company would be free. The shoes arrived within 4 days, I believe, so that was nice. I liked the looks of the shoe, and my sister complimented the style as well. They fit perfectly. But.... I was disappointed. Would these shoes support my legs any better than the pair I already wear? I don't know. Besides fitting well, they just weren't as comfortable. The pair I already wear everyday just feel so much nicer on my feet. I know the pair I own already almost magically keep my feet warm and dry when walking in snow during the winter. Would these? The idea of wearing a new shoe was fun, but I'm too cheap. I am returning the Hokas and just keeping my old pair. Maybe I will look for something different, but for all the praise about the comfort of these shoes, I just didn't experience it myself. Were the comfortable? Yes. But they weren't more comfortable than any shoe I buy.

I have been a Hoka fan for a very long time however this last pair of hoka's I bought is very disappointing. After just three weeks I have had to glue parts of the bottom of the shoe to keep it together. Also started out being very comfortable but after three weeks feels like they are starting to break down. I have never had a shoe do this before. I am really hoping this is just a fluke because I really like Hoka shoes.

Great for running and walking. However the yellow treads of the shoe started to peel away almost immediately. Was going to return however my size was no longer available and did not want to pay the full price for the updated model. So will instead try to fix the shoe my self. Unfortunate.

The cushioning is adequate and the shoe is quite stylish with great color combos. My only complaint is that the show is quite heavy for a daily runner.

These are 2E wide and they are too tight. Also these shoes don't breathe well, they are hot for my feet.

Very cushy and stylish, but too tight. Unfortunately just past 30 day return period. Wish I had ordered wide (which I don't need in other brands).

These weren't as good as the last pair I had, and the old design is discontinued.

The sole was too soft for me. Toes were sinking in too much. I will be going back to the Mizuno Wave Inspire

I purchased this model a couple of years ago. They were the most comfortable shoes I'd ever worn. This new shoe (of the same model line) is not close. It's not a terrible shoe just not nearly as comfortable.

The shoes feel great but only have had them a couple of weeks and the bottom of the soles are breaking off in chunks.

I liked them initially but after wearing them for a while they started to bruise my toes. Not sure why but it was outside the 30 day to return them so I'm stuck.

I got these shoes by using the online selector module, I wanted something for walking and weights at the gym. Though they are great for walking on the street, they actually hurt my knees and lower back when I walk on the treadmill. My cardio is at 6.5 KMS speed and I walk for 60 minutes, so maybe they are not designed for these purposes.

These seem like a very cheap construction. Much prefer my Altras. Cheap outer and stiff support. Narrow toe box. My first pair of Hokas and I returned them asap
