I would have given my rating a "5," but miss this shoe in black with a white sole. The 100% black shoe didn't do it for me, so I settled for the grey version that has a white sole. aesthetics matters to me.

Beautiful looking shoe, and less bulky. But, because of the new design there's more impact in the toe bed and feels like I'm being poked. Sometimes less isn't more.

These fit perfectly; however, the extra cushioning, while feeling good on my feet, seems to alter my gait just enough that I am having some lower back issues. I love the Bondi 7 and hope that, with some wear, I will get used to the Gaviota 3 and love them as well. Too early to tell at this point.

Great stable shoe but just a bit snug for me. I may need to order a size upif they come that large. I ordered a 15EE.

i'd like to get gel sole for the money spent on it. but shoes run very well. I seem to feel I'm the constraint not the shoes. which is game changing as you can push yourself more

I have been dealing with plantar faciitis for the past several weeks and my podiatrist gave me a list of shoes to choose from that would lend better support for my feet. I made my way through the list and eliminated the ugly, glow-in-the-dark styles from other brands before settling on Hoka. These shoes give my feet the support that I need to go about my day virtually pain-free....until I recover from the injury. I haven't tried running in them yet but that will be the next step. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I am satisfied wtih my purchase.

The second pair I bought was a regular width and the first pair was a wide width. I should have stuck with the wide width.

I have foot problems and these are great for walks but they are not that comfortable to wear all day. These are my go to walk shoes.

It fit my foot well for the most part, initially . I replaced the insole and now it fits much better. I have an odd arch due to a birth defect that was treated with braces and surgery as an infant, so I cannot hold this against the shoe. Now the fit great. Some adjustment to the largeness if the base. Very wide. Sometimes I bump shoes against one another. Love going for walks in then though because they are plush.

Very well made and after a few weeks of blisters on the bottom of the toes, they have broken in. Just beyond that period now, and I think they will be good -- comfortable and supportive-- from here on out.

First pair was Gav 2 which lasted through refereeing about 150 basketball games before the interior material broke down. Loved the feel and performance and was able to get interior material fixed. In mean time bought the Gav 3 and have used about 20 games. Look better and perform just as good. Two small concerns are appears to have bigger tow box as my toes seem to float around more (now wearing 2 pair socks) and the outside of the front top of shoe can slightly dimple. Minor things for a shoe that I need being older and about 230 pounds.

I bought my first HOKA shoes, Gaviota 3's, knowing nothing about the company or the shoes themselves. They just look soIid and I was looking for a change. What a great decision. I love them. Rock solid, excellent stability, arch is perfect. This will not be my last pair!

Feels great but has significant support. They seem last as well, getting almost 500 miles on the last pair.

Run everyday, the Hoka Gaviota 3 is best version yet. I did notice a small part of sole not glued well on heel. Hopefully won't be a problem, otherwise great shoe.

I typically run 20mi/week. Shoe is build great! I don't notice anything different from the 2. The insole label is a sticker and peeled off at run #3.

I have had issues with my feet my whole life purchased my first pair of Gaviota shoes in 2018 at an Rei garage sale. I have a very bad pronation problem. Now 2021 still buying them. I have bought 9 pairs plus 2 pairs of speedgoat shoes. Recommended them to family but the Bondi six family members buy nothing but HOKA even my 84 year old dad will buy nothing but HOKA. They changed my life.

Good shoes. Just not for my feet. The left sole was more rigid than the right. My right foot started to hurt.

I like the stability that it offers but wish it offered more cushion at the ball of you foot. It seems very stiff as compared to the Clifton.
