Wide was too narrow for my foot. Returned them.

For the price point, I was able to buy two pairs of a more popular brand that fits just as well and is even better looking. Comfort is relative to each individual.

I ordered the 2E (wide size) but the right shoe was too snug and irritated the right side of my foot between the arch and the little toe. The irritation seems to originate from the footbed, not the uppers, so I don't think it was going to stretch out over time. So I'm returning after just trying on in the house. my fit
I'd also recommend:
The Hoka Bondi 7s (wide) fit great as do the Brooks Caldera

Love these trainers, but I sense the design means the lower is prone to separate from the upper - have had to use glue. Very very comfortable though, most comfortable I have ever owned.

Why in the world would you reduce your wide sizes to E from EE? I have been wearing Challengers for 4 years and no longer can wear any Hoka because I need a EE. So disappointing. You should put out a statement on why you did it.

Great shoe. Medium cushioning. I have a wide foot and high arch. I ordered the Wide and it was too narrow. It's a straight up 2E which is to narrow for me. When you order the wide they just say wide they don't mention what width. If it was an actual 3E I would rate this shoe higher. Unfortunately, I'm returning it.

Put my feet to sleep. Toe box was too narrow. I really wanted to like these.

The HOKA shoes I got were not what I expected. The first issue came with ordering the shoesI paid for expedited shipping (2 days) and it still took 5 days to be delivered. The shoes didn't fit well and I just didn't find them to be super comfortable. I returned both pair.

The shoe itself has great cushion and absorbs trail Impact well. I run on very uneven surface so that was a huge factor in my decision. This is my first set of Hokas and unfortunately the True Fit misguided me based off my prior Brooks information. It suggested I downsize slightly which seems to have been an inaccurate suggestion. I've had pretty serious blistering on toes and underside near the front of my arch where a seam chafes on both feet. I would definitely shoot for my regular size or even a wide if I were to go with Hoka again.

I have many many Hokas. My go to shoe is the ATR. The ATR 6 is smaller and narrower than any previous ATR I have purchased and worn.

The Challenger 6 are very comfy shoes, but they wore out in the inner heal area where my socks meet the back of the shoe. They started to pill up and then a hole formed. I had to toss them out before their time. I am going to buy the #7 version of this shoe in hope that this issue has been resolved.

Can't wear these shoes as they are tearing up toes on my right foot. It appears that there may be a defect in the right shoe as the left one is fine.

I love the shoes. But they have issues with chunks of the tread falling off. Hoka's return policy is kind of a pain. You can't even speak to anyone. I've been a long time hooker user.

This is my second pair of Challengers, as I loved my first ones so much! I bought them for tread milling and walking. Down 90lbs at this point after two back surgeries August and October of 2020. The first pair were like walking on clouds and so comfortable. Perfect fit! This new pair, same exact shoe, feels like it has been baked in an over for a year at low temp. The shoe is so stiff and the material is so dry and inflexible. Uncomfortable to say the least. I've got roughly 20 miles on them almost and there are no signs of softening up. I originally ordered two pair this time because how much I loved my first Challengers, though the second pair was a different model and slipped off my heel constantly, which I returned with no problem. Customer service is great, but for the money and this experience I think I'll hold off from ordering online. These new Challengers I doubt will ever feel as comfortable as my first pair.
