Love my new Gore-Tex Hoka's, they're perfect for muddy, rainy NW trail runs!
Kept my feet dry during a 25k which had plenty of mud and rain over the course of the run. My feet felt cushioned, dry and comfortable the whole time. Appreciated the lace design as well, no slipping or loosening of laces, so no need to stop to retighten and also no need to adjust to reduce pressure on upper foot (sometimes you'll get that with certain laces).

We have wet weather in Oregon for half the year, so Gortex is a welcome addition to hiking shoes. Most of the local hikes don't require boots so sturdy hiking shoes are great. Fortunately, you have not changed the style or the fit, so I keep buying this shoe over and over.

I have become a huge fan of Hoka One One shoes. My job requires me to be on my feet all day and Hoka's have relieved the constant back and leg pain from that. This year, I got into running and wanted to continue to run throughout the winter. Northern Michigan winters offer TONS of snow and frigid temps so I was looking for a show that was warm, comfortable, and had decent traction. With the Challengers, I found all three. While the traction is not as great as the Speedgoats - given that the Challenger is not a trail shoe but an "all terrain" - I simply throw on a pair of YakTrax for the extra snowy/icy days. If you are looking for a great all around winter runner, these are for you.

Was hesitant to get a GTX Trail runner because I thought my feet would get too hot and that my feet would still get wet since these have a lower/normal shoe profile. However, these are perfect for the rainy PNW where there is often standing water on the trail. These kept my feet dry for all the rainy runs I've had. The insole of the shoe feels a little different on the balls of my feet, but not in a way that is uncomfortable. Just different support. I'm usually a 7.5 (but sometimes an 8) and the 7.5 fit me perfectly.

I walk around 3.5 miles a day and the Hoka brand shoes are the best around. I recently was gifted these and LOVE them! I only have a few days walk in but so far they have been amazing!

Got these shoes for my daughter who works in a warehouse and is on her feet 12 hours at a time. Made a big difference on her comfort.

I LOVE my recently purchased ATR 6 Gortex shoes. In the 2 or so weeks since arrival, they've been worn at least once, often twice per day. The walks with my two labradors through tall grass, puddles, and mud, no longer end with my feet being cold, wet, and miserable. My feet are dry, the fit and size are spot on, and the cushion is just right. As I'll wear these 4-6 miles a day I'm already contemplating the purchase of a second pair!

Great shoe for running in and out of snow in mixed weather in the winter. The running/bike path is periodically cleared of snow by machine, but it can at times be a mix of pavement, snow, and ice areas. These shoes are terrific for navigating through this, they don't get wet and they have just the right amount of traction so that it isn't too much for pavement and it isn't too slippery for the icy spots.

My daughter works in a dental office & is on her feet all day. She was experiencing a lot of soreness & pain in her feet so we ordered these shoes hoping they would help...which they did! She is able to work all day now with little to no pain, and wants to order some to wear on her off-work days.

Great! I wanted a shoe that would prevent early morning dampness on grass from soaking my feet as I hiked. This is working great for me. Good, comfortable fit too. Plus, I like the look of it. All in all, perfect for me.

This is my second pair. I'm still breaking in the toe as they feel a hair snug but my last ones are more stretched so give it time and they will be great. I have a duck shaped foot and these fit my feet well. Waterproof is important here in East Tennessee when it rains to keep dry feet. They are not a plus comfort shoe at all but I walk daily on pavement and the sole will hold better than the Mach (also good for a wide foot narrow heel) and are comfortable enough for me. Nothing feels or fits better than Hoka

I ended up returning these as the fit and comfort just wasn't there for me. They seemed tighter in the toe box area and not as comfortable as I've come to expect from Hoka.

I love that these shoes are keeping my feet warm and dry on slushy, wet winter runs. They do feel just a tad smaller than the same size Mach 5 and they are definitely stiffer. Great for shorter runs, but I haven't taken them out for anything more than 6 miles yet.

Looking to replace my winter running shoe with these. Appears to be a quality shoe with good arch and adequate tread. Unfortunately I couldn't find the right fit. Usually wear a 10 or 10 1/2 depending on brand. In this style the 10 1/2 was way too long and 10 was just a bit too short to wear comfortably with a little heavier sock that I use in the winter.

I love the fit but the sole it pretty hard. I didn't expect the cushion of Bondi or Clifton but am wanting more cushion.

I needed a shoe with better traction and water resiliency for a slushy Minnesota winter. It is not as cushioned as the Clinton 7 I have been wearing for many years so has taken a little getting used to, but happy now that I have worn them for a while.

This is my first pair of Hoka. They feel so comfortable. After working out my knees and hip usually are sore but when I worked out in these I had no soreness. I recommend these shoes. I will purchase another pair.
I'd also recommend:

I use this product as a general running shoe. Feels good running. I would like a stretchy sock like cuff at ankle cough to prevent debris from entering the shoe while running.

My son recommended I check out this brand. He says it’s the only brand of shoes he wears for running. I ordered this style because I wanted a pair of walking shoes I could wear when grass & pavement are wet. In general, I’m very happy with the shoes. I wear a 9 1/2 M usually. Sometimes I have to go to a wide. Sometimes I have to go to a size 10. These fit length wise, arch hits my foot in exactly right spot, no slipping in the heel. I wish it was just a tiny bit wider across my foot. Shoes fit very snug as is with fairly thin sock. This shoe wasn’t available in a wide. If it had been I’d have ordered it & seen which pair fit better. I decided to keep them because they aren’t so snug & don’t hurt my feet . I would have preferred a different color, but black was only color available. I’ve worn only a few times so far, & I’m pleased with the stability the grippy soles give when walking up & down hills on wet roads.

I love the color and they fit true to size, I'm a 6.5 and I purchase 7.5 I own abt 5 pairs in different styles and all are 7.5. I have yet to test this pair on the trails yet they are great for every day use. the only draw back I have is on wet surfaces I have to tip toe to keep from sliding and when wet they squeak but that may be because there not totally broken it yet.
