I love these shoes for walking trails. This is my third pair. They took a bit to get used to, but once I got used to them, I fell in absolutely in love (feels like walking on clouds) and believe they are totally worth the cost.

Speedgoats used to be my go-to but I like these even better. Great for trail and trail/road mix. The tongue doesn't dig in like on the Speedgoat 4.

These are by far the best trail running or road walking shoes I've ever owned ! Cushion and support are awesome.

Have been using them for both trail running and hikes. They have amazing grip and barely feel the rocks and roots. Super comfortable, highly recommended

Love my Hoka shoes! I have a few pairs, most are trail runners. I am asked about the fit and function all the time and I always highly recommend them. I switched from another very good brand that I had worn for years. Hokas outperform my former trail running shoes by a mile! I also love the vibrant colors offered. Since most of my workout wear is black, it's fun to have a pop of color on my feet! They have all run true to size for me. Do not hesitate to try a pair - just a warning: you'll want more!

I'm a Nanny to a 16 month old active boy. We move and walk a lot. These shoes are the best purchase I've made in a long time. I will always wear Hokas if they all feel like these.

Most comfortable tennis shoes I own! They are so comfortable and I have had issues with plantar fasciitis and I can finally walk/run without any issues.

Been wearing these for about a month for 3-8 mile trail runs. Absolutely love them. No foot pain, good cushion against the rocks. Will be buying another pair.

I broke in my Mafates on our Montana trails, and it was a flawless experience. Superb traction, while I felt in touch with the trail and ready for steeps up and down, some minor rock scrambling and creek crossings. Even with the awesome cushioning to soften the blow on my old joints, I felt totally solid off the trail looking for berries and a good fishing spot. No instability or twisting, which is impressive for a low shoe. The tread is comparable to the Speed Goat, which I also wear. I love them both for unpaved roads and trails.
