I am a long distance runner and training for an ultramarathon. I broke my toe and everyone told me to buy Hokas for their support, cushion, and stiffer toe box. After a weeks off of running, my first few runs in Hokas were not great. I went back to my old Brooks and had better success.

The toe box was really wide and if had a stiff last that caused a lot discomfort in my arch through the top of my foot.

This style didn't have enough cushion for me.

This shoe has only foam on the bottom and no rubber so is fine for outside use but it was too slippery for my gym floor workouts so I exchanged them for the Cliftons.

I work in healthcare and I bought these for the long hours on my feet but I'm not sure if I just bought the wrong style since these are supposed to be just for running. My feet usually hurt after my shift with these shoes. Will not buy again

These are decently cute, but after trying to break them in for 2 weeks, my feet still hurt like crazy wearing them. I don't know if there's something wrong with the type I bought, but the cushion is way too hard. I'm disappointed because I spent a huge amount of money.

These shoes started out great in the beginning but the more I have worn them I feeling the cushion has disappeared. I only have 150 miles on them and all outside either on payment or gravel and the bottom of the shoe is completely worn. I am sad because when you spend over $100 for a pair of running shoes you would hope that you could get at least 300-400 miles out of these shoes. I am very hesitant to purchase another pair because of this. This is actually my second pair of these so this has been extremely disappointing.

Although these shoes are really comfortable, I'm exchanging them for the Mach 5 because they're just too hot - like, running in slippers and slipper socks hot. Too much for speedwork in the southern U.S. in the summer. I am hoping the Mach 5s are cooler.

I was searching for a replacement for my 2 year old Hoka Tivra's. I wanted to love the Mach 4's however unfortunately, this shoe doesn't work for me. I train indoors with weights, cardio equipment and classes including HIIT. Even though the Mach 4's are lightweight, it felt like a struggle to get any lift on my jumps and there's no lateral stability. The angle of the shoe affected my balance and I felt like I was going backwards. The Tivra's felt like part of my feet whereas with the Mach 4's, I am aware of the shoes and it's an effort to jump around. Sadly they're going back. I'm giving these two stars because they're so pretty but please bring back the Tivra's so I can fly again.

I like color, good cushion, ok support but the quality of these did not hold up for my feet. Walk every day, long walks and use these and after about two weeks, the hold/structure was not holding up. If you buy shoes that last 1 month or less... expensive for the price. But comfortable in good state!

The 6.5B was confusing since i am 6.5, but it was actually half size bigger and designed for wider feet.

I need the Hoka Hupana to be back on the market.

I wore these shoes for about a week and a half and had tremendous pain in my heel. I was subsequently diagnosed with heel Spurs. I did not have any pain prior to wearing these shoes. I can't say for sure that they are the reason for my diagnosis, but I am scared to wear them anymore.

How these can cost so much money and be so uncomfortable. I've worn them 5 times now for walks and am in so much pain after every time. Zero insole support, just totally flat inside. Will not purchase again.

They are great, however, although they claim to be neutral, they are for those that supinate.

The fit was fine and consistent with the Hoka brand. I would've kept these shoes but the extra eyelet is missing on the right shoe. Since I use these for running that additional shoelace hole is important to me.

This is my 4th pair. Compare to my previous ones, this one wore out so quickly with only a few mileage. Do not recommend buying.

They seemed bulky and hard. Didn't run in them based on how they felt with tied.

Asics seem to work better for me.

The left shoe was great but the right show was not. It was almost like it was defective. When I walked the right heel would sink down like the shoe was worn out. It actually made my hips hurts. If both shoes had been the same I would have kept them

The brand was suggested by my podiatrist because I have plantar fasciitis, and I decided to try them despite how unattractive they are because the reviews for them were mostly good. Alas, while they are comfy, the soles are wider than the sneaker itself (they splay out on the sides), and I find it impossible to walk in them at my usual (quick) pace. Too late to return as well. Sigh.

Retuned shoes. Shoe felt narrow. The sole is is wide and extends at the back of the heel. Did not notice how far it sticks out in the photos. Did not like the look.

I Bought these shoes the end of February for a trip to Disney. My feet were so hot in them. They do not breathe. I wear them back in Michigan as my preferred shoe for walking my dog on pavement and trails. The tread is about worn down. I am not happy with the price I paid for these shoes for them to be wearing down in less than three months.

I have had a pair of Machs for about two years now, and I loved them so much that I repurchased.
The first pair that I owned were amazing but I wore them basically to the ground. So since it was time for a new pair of shoes I figured I would repurchase. However, my newest ones are VERY different and hurt my shins when I wear them to run in.
I missed the return deadline, so I typically just wear them out and about/to the gym but am now in need of another new pair as I have been cycling through my old pairs.
Love my first ones, wish I hadn't missed the return deadline for the second.

I wanted to love these sneakers, but they were too snug on the top of both feet. Must send back.
