I used the shoes to exercise. They are very comfortable I had a foot injury a couple of years ago. And since I started wearing Hokas. My foot has been amazing. But I think you guys should offer some discounts lol. 10 or 20% off every now and then

This shoe is one of the best fitting I have ever worn. It also looks great.
That said, after just 2 runs, I feel a nagging pain in my feet. It feels like running on sofa. Yes, it "feels" good, but you may injure yourself if you aren't used to running on cushioned sole.

These are incredibly uncomfortable. Got lots of recommendations for them because I’ve had joint pain (hips and knees) when running. They do have a good “squish” under my foot, but are super narrow compared to my usual sauconys, and have a weird issue of the tongue, edged with rough stitching, laying against the top of my ankle, which is a recipe for a blister. I read lots of reviews about how these are lightweight (a good thing) but wear out quickly (bad). I will say they feel very light weight. I can see through the fabric of them, so they’re probably pretty “breathable”, but I wouldn’t want to run on a wet road in them. Returning.

The Machs are my favorite Road running shoe, or they were before the release of the latest model. The stack height of my Mach 3 were around 22mm now these new models have a stack height of 35mm, not cool, are you guys actively trying to break my ankles? The new model isn't described as a responsive shoe anymore either. In fact, there are only trail shoes and gym shoes listed as responsive shoes on this site. So Disappointed!

This shoe has so much cushioning. I'm almost flat footed so I'm pretty picky with what feels good. I had waited forever to try hokas because I was skeptical. I'm so glad I finally purchased a pair.

I had purchased a pair of these for running a month or two ago. I'm 64, and need all the support I can get in a running shoe to help protect me from injuries. These shoes were reviewed very well on some youtube sites, and I took a chance, ordering them through zappos. I love the shoes, have never had a more comfortable or higher quality running shoe. The Mach 4's will likely be discontinued, since the Mach 5's are out, so I purchased a second pair for when I've worn the first ones out. I cannot recommend them enough, though I realize every runner/walker has different feet and different needs. These work perfectly for me. The colors of this pare are a bit over-the-top for me, but there is a real variety of colors to choose from.

These shoes are wonderful! I will only wear them for running, but hardly want to take them off after a run. I feel they cut down on the trauma to my injury-prone knees, both during the run and while walking downhill, the two triggers for me.

I had not tried Hokas before, but see them everywhere and wanted to try them when it came time to replace my walking shoes. They were so comfortable when I first put them on I didn’t want to take them off. I’ve had them for a couple of weeks now, wear them nearly every day for brisk walks of anywhere between one and eight-ish miles. They continue to be comfortable and, though it’s only been a couple of weeks, are holding up beautifully.

This is by far my favorite Hoka running shoe. It's not as clunky and clumsy feeling as the others I've worn (Clifton and Bondi). It's insanely light! Like running on air. Some of that, of course, is because it has no real outsole. Some say this makes it wear out more quickly. I haven't noticed that happening. This is the third pair of Mach 4s I've bought--it's a back-up in case the style changes significantly in the future. Thanks for carrying this style, Zappos!

I love Mach 4 for running or everyday use! Not cushioned enough to standing on your feet all day. I would use the Bondi for all day standing. My favorite shoe!!!!

I have Morton's neuroma and it is so so painful. I'm a runner and workout often but I would be in excruciating pain during and afterwards. My Nikes just weren't cutting it. These have been a Godsend and I am so thankful I have them now. My workouts are pain free! I wish I could afford to have them in ever color!

I have been wearing Bondi 7's and decided to try these. I'm a jogger with high arch and heel spur, and the Bondis combined with Dr. Scholl's kiosk orthotics makes it possible for me to jog. (BTW, I also bought two sets of $200-$300 custom orthortics and the $70 Dr. Scholls are immensely better for me.)
Compared to the Bondi 7, these are much lighter (210 grams instead of 270) and just have less cushioning especially on the sole. However, the sole seems equally comfortable when I wear them. They do seem a little tighter through the top of the shoe and I'm not certain if they're going to work with the orthotic added.

I measure a size 8 wide. The 8.5 was too snug but the fit and comfort was amazing so I ordered a size up. Hopefully it fits
Would definitely fit a narrow 8.5

I wasted about $1000 this year on shoes, inserts, doctors appointments, devices, etc. I got this shoes by accident. I ordered a 7.5 for my daughter. When she tried them on they were too big. I'm an 8 on one foot, an 8.5 on the other, so I tried them on. They fit perfectly. I decided to keep them for myself. They are the best thing I've done for my feet this year. I will add that I have severe plantar fasciitis, so I added a Superfeet insert from Fleet Feet to make them even better! But size down if you're buying them. The folks at Fleet Feet said they "run long."

These fit true to size, I wear a true size 8 in everything. Very cushy when standing and walking. But no arch support. So they should be good for standing. I’ve only worn them 1 day to work.

WOW! These shoes are perfect. The hundreds of 5 star reviews are never wrong. The toe box is wide and comfortable. The arch support is good.
**Plus ZAPPOS is amazing. My shoes arrived at my house 24 hours after I ordered them.

I recently switched to Hoka from Altra after a foot injury and I'm really enjoying the Mach 4's. I tried the Clifton's, which I had run in years ago, but found they had too much cushion coming from a zero drop minimalist shoe (Altra Escalante). The Mach 4's are really comfortable and easy to run in. So far I've used them for easy milage, but I'm hoping to do some speed and tempo workouts in them soon. Overall, my feet are way happier with the added support and cushion that the Mach 4's provide!
