I really love these shoes. I am a bit of a sneaker snob and have many requirements for a shoe so it works for me. Arch support is one of them. The company I always buy started to change their shoes so now I had to look for something new and I am amazed how hard it is to find good shoes. I did not expect much of these, but I am quite blown away I have to say. It is really great to walk in them, running is divine, and it really changes my posture. I tend to slouch and for some reason I walk in these with the shoulders back which is of huge help for me. I will get another pair for daily use and use these for running.

These shoes are great! My surgeon at MGH recommended these as I’m recovering from a ruptured Achilles and relearning to walk. These help with my gait training, are waaay cuter than any weird orthotic shoes, and I can use them as running shoes when I’m done with PT. They’re chunkier than anything I’m used to, but they fit great and are super comfortable!

I have had foot surgery on both feet. I have neuropathy and arthritis in both feet as well. These are very supportive and are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I walked all thru the state fair and was pain free. I wish I could afford to get another pair. They are on the expensive side,but you get what you pay for.

I am not a runner but I have been a nurse for 30 years. I have constant foot pain. I have Ben treated with nsaids, steroid shots every three months , inserts and stretching. I immediately noticed a difference with the Hoka's. I feel like these shoes are correcting my gait . It is wonderful not to be in pain all day every day.

I have planter fasciitis in my heel and was shopping around for a shoe with good support for my long walks. I've been a New Balance girl for a long time but wanted something with more support on the heel. I love these shoes! They were comfortable immediately out of the gate.

This is my fifth pair of Hokas and my first experience with the Gaviota 3. I always read reviews before making a purchase, so I just wanted to return the favor. I have to say these are my absolute favorite Hokas so far! I walk several miles daily despite problems and pain with my feet, and it's only been the switch Hokas that have made that possible. I have flat (and wide) feet, PF, OP, and other issues, and Hokas have saved the day, and these Gaviotas are heaven . . . four miles yesterday and no pain in these babies!!! Happy girl :) P.S. PLEASE HOKA, make more colors and styles in wide!!!!!!!!!!!

I now have 2 pairs of Gaviota 3's. I have arthritis in both feet as well as bone spurs. Almost no pain with these even wearing them all day. Love them!

The instructions say to order a half size larger and they are correct. I use these to play golf in as they are stable, grip and light weight. I hurt my foot and these are the only shoes I can play in.

I have worn brooks sneakers to walk in for many years. This past year I have started needing more structure, stability and control as I'm walking ,so I decided to try Hoka , I have a friend who recommended these and they are GREAT ! At first I started having a lot of blisters but I kept walking in them with bomba socks . It took 2 months but I finally realized it wasn't the shoes that were giving me blisters all over my toes and heels! IT WAS THE SOCKS! I have found the perfect socks now so life is good with my new found love for these Hoka Gaviota 3!! Wish you would make more colors for the wide sized shoes is my only complaint!
