I just got the sneakers an hour ago…when I went to tie my first one, the loop popped right out before I even tightened them. Definitely NOT what I expected from a $160 sneaker!

This is the style , Gaviota 2, I had previously before I wore them out. This time I got the Gaviota3 which is even more cushioning. It felt great. I use them for running & fast walking. I have terrible joints, so my orthopedic surgeon said to get real good cushioning on my shoes to help with the impact.

I've searched high and low for sneakers for my neuropathy rat foot and bottom left foot pain. They are the best so far. Even more comfortable than my expensive diabetic sneaker . I'll be purchasing HOKA again and again and again.

I love these shoes. My husband has raved about them so I figured I should see what all the fuss was about. So very glad I got these shoes. Best support in an athletic shoe!

No break in needed and great arch support. The fore foot padding I need as well.

I have had trouble with EVERY SNEAKER for YEARS!! Causing corns or pain elsewhere. I have never found a shoe that TRULY felt amazing. I got a job at a hospital after staying home to raise children for the past nine years and was dreading finding shoes. I KNEW MY FEET WERE GOING TO KILL ME!!! I seen that hoka offered a MBG and decided to spend the extra money (because who spends that much on a shoe?) IT IS SO WORTH IT!! The first month in other shoes brought back corns that were so painful I could barely walk. Got these shoes and within a week they were practically gone. I'm so impressed!

I have a permanently broken sesamoid bone (ball of big toe) from my many years in dance. Thankfully over the past year I have managed to get the sesamoiditis under control. I was looking to start running again so searching for a running shoe that would support this chronic condition. I've had the shoes now for a week and gone running 3 times; So far so good. The shoe seems to be exactly what I need: supportive; highly cushioned; and has great arch support that seems take the weight off the ball of the toe and distribut it down the center of the foot... amazing and perfect. Also I love the design and colors of the shoe so that's a big plus too.

Gaviotas have been my one and only running shoe for a couple of years now, but that love affair has come to a complete halt with Gaviota 3s. The new iterations are more narrow (by ~0.5 inch) so that my feet, which are pretty narrow, fall over the arches. The support panels where the laces are attached have also been removed. It appears Hoka is trying to cut manufacturing costs. Unfortunately, performance has suffered and pricing still reflects a much more robust stability shoe. I did give a 2 star review instead of 1, since they added a little more cushion. If only that were the extent of the changes :(

I am disappointed in these shoes. This shoe and Hoka shoes in general have been given rave reviews by nurses who wore them for a 12 hour shift. I thought these would be great work shoes. While the stability of the shoe is awesome, the comfort of the shoe does not endure a 12 hour nursing shift. I tried the shoes on at home and wore them around the house for a few hours for several days and they appeared to be promising. However, after wearing them to work for 6 days in a 2 week period, my feet started becoming numb and tingly near the end of the shift. By the third week of wearing them to work, my feet started becoming numb and tingly after only 4 hours of wear. I am very disappointed thinking about the money I spent on these shoes, since they were only comfortable for 6 twelve hour shifts. I am now looking for a pair of work shoes that will be comfortable for an entire 12 hour shift because these do not "fit the bill."

The most important quality I shop for in a walking shoe is arch support and stabilization and comfort. Style is last in importance. However, in the case of the Hoka One One Gaviota 3, it is the best stabilizer shoe I have found with an excellent arch support, and a bonus ... I love the dark blue/pale pink colors. I like this shoe so much that after I wore my first pair purchased in September of this with my custom orthodics, I immediately ordered my second pair in the same color.

I have been through two pair of the Bondi 7's, which I loved, but they wore out within 6 months. When I contacted Hoka, they accepted a return of my second pair. I put more than 100 miles on my shoes each month, so I researched the Gaviota 3 line.
I am very happy with these Gaviota 3 shoes. They have a bit more stability (less cushion, though) and I am comfortable wearing them with my VERY flat feet.
My only complaint here is the communication chain within Hoka. I returned my Bondi shoes for an exchange to the Gaviotas. Twice I heard that the balance due ($10.) needed to be prepaid. Twice I submitted my payment for this balance. Twice I made sure the exchange would happen and my new shoes would be sent. It never happened. I had an issue before with Hoka shoes not arriving, so this was especially frustrating. Their customer care and shipping services need attention.

Love my new Hoka’s! I had to return them for a pair 1/2 size larger and for wide width. Then they were perfect

Hoka's were recommended to my wife by her cousin. He deserves a commission from Hoka as now my wife, daughter and I own and love Hoka's. My wife suffers from several issues with her feet and she has struggled to find shoes that would help keep her mobile. Hoka's were the answer. Great shoe, highly recommend to all who are looking for a stable, comfortable shoe

I love these! Like walking on a cloud. I’m normally a 7 with wide feet. A 6.5W fits perfectly. I have relatively flat feet so most arch support shoes are painful. The arch support in these is minimal so if you have high arches these aren’t for you. I originally bought these as everyday walking shoes although I run 3-5 miles a day. I have the Clifton 7’s for running right now but I may buy another pair of these for running too. They are awesome.

I had bought some Hoka last year from another site and when I received them, they were total FAKES! Do yourself a favor and buy only from HOKA. EVERYTHING ELSE IS TRASH!

I have had over 5 pairs of Hokas. These pair are definitely some of my favorites! The cushion, comfort and stability support is so crucial to my feet as an every day health care worker who is on their feet ALOT!!!
