Hoka's have been my favorite for their cushy comfort that feels so good when I wear them. I bought a new pair and while the fit was great, comfort was not even average. Don't know if it is Hoka in general or just this style but I guess I will go back to other brands. Meanwhile I will wear these til the tread is gone.

I am happy with how these shoes fit and the support they provide right out of the box. However, the plastic writing on the inside of the sole started to roll up after just one week. I hate to admit that I'm like the princess and the pea but having that bunching under my heel was uncomfortable and irritating. I'm hopeful that for as much as they cost, I won't have more issues for a while.

If you have wide feet beware; even the D width version of these feels more like standard width. Which kind of makes me wonder if the pair I got was mislabeled, because I also ordered the Hoka Akasa in the exact same size, and it was actually wide. Which is disappointing, because these are actually the cuter of the two, but way too snug around the arch and forefoot to be comfortable for long hours on my feet.

I switched from ASICS Nimbus to the Arahi at around the 2. Great shoe at the 2 I have some W and some regular. The 5 has disappointed. I purchased W and it's still very narrow at the toes the size is now true to size when before it was some wiggle room (almost felt like a 5.5). The 2 had a teeter totter feel (perfect for my toe and heel issues) and legs feel great on long 15+ runs. the 5 has more of a flat feel and after about 7 miles I have pain in my legs very odd for me and feet hurt. Bring back the 2 it was perfect. Thank you!

I've reliably wearing the Arahi for a few years, but apparently there's been a change in the sizing. I've always worn an 8.5 Wide, but the Arahi 5 was far too narrow! Please bring back the old sizing!

I’m sure these are great shoes for some but even ordering wide shoes (I tried both 9.5 and 10) they were still far too snug to wear. The arch support was a bit high fir my liking as well. Had to return. I’ll stick with my wide New Balance shoes I guess.

I have flat feet and I overpronate there was really no support in this shoe for running. Also the material does not allow for great support while running.

My daughter recommended these, so decided to try, as I walk regularly. I have knee replacements and they were not enough support. Had lots of knee area pain and had to stop my walk. just not the right shoes for me.
I'd also recommend:
Zeba work wonderfully for me.

These came highly recommended from my nurse friends. I'm so disappointed. They don't feel any different than my regular sneakers. My right foot was KILLING me after 2nights in these shoes. If you need arch support...go find something else!!

I have metatarsal pain in my right foot. In November 2020, my 9.5 women's shoe were a godsend! I could walk, dance, exercise almost pain free. These shoes wore out, I went back to my store to get the exact same shoe, well you guys changed the sizing. The replacement shoe I bought in April 2021was 9.5B. It was still great for my right foot with metatarsal pain, but my left foot started having pain on the outer side below little toe joint. So much pain I was hobbling. The shoes are a little narrower now. I saw another comment that the left foot was too narrow. I compared the insoles from the 9.5 November 2020 purchase with the 9.5B April 2021 purchase, the 9.5 has a deeper heel cup, is sturdier, a little wider and longer. My store has a 60 day return policy so I am trying another brand. My left foot is good in this other brand, not so sure about my right with metatarsal paint. Why did you have to change sizing and the quality of insole?

I don't like the toebox on this style. I want to order the Gaviota 2 because those are the only Hokas that fit my feet well. But they aren't available in my size, and haven't been available in my size for MONTHS.

I loved the Arahi 4, but unfortunately the toe box in this shoe has gotten much narrower. I still love the shoe, unfortunately it just doesnt fit my short, wide feet. I'm very sad :( I understand the need to update the shoe tech, but please, leave the fit alone!

This Hoka, compared to other styles, doesn't offer any room in the toebox. Even the lining around the ankle is rock hard, in attempts to keep you from overpronating, maybe? All it did was scrape my ankle bone and cause me pain. They run true to size as far as length goes but the fit is pretty snug. It's supposedly designed this way. I wore them for a day and my feet were hurting so badly the next. I have fat pad atrophy and am looking for a running shoe that will help ease my pain. This one isn't it! I have numerous foot issues and no, I won't be running, but must wear running shoes all day long.

So I wore the Arahi 4 for a while and loved them, they were my favorite go-to shoe for most runs. They were the perfect combination of support/cushion/lightweight. When they started to wear out I bought these thinking they'd be just as great. Wrong! I don't know what is up with the heel but it feels strange and doesn't support me correctly. I don't even know how to describe it. When I walk or run it's uncomfortable and I think it's a big contributing factor in the hip pain I've had recently. I've tried to find the Arahi 4 in my size but it's out of stock everywhere. I really wish I had returned these immediately instead of continuing to try them. I regret it every time.

I really wanted to love these shoes. They are very comfortable for running errands, but every time I tried taking a walk longer than half a mile my feet would cramp up and my toes fell asleep. This has never happened to me before, so something about the shoe's mechanics didn't work for me. They may be fine for someone else though, and the blue color is great.

Strange fit. I usually wear a 9.5N in most shoes and a 10N in athletic shoes. My feet are also low volume. I'm mostly neutral, with a slight tendency for pronation. Comments said this shoe runs large and narrow, so I ordered the 9.5, and my big toes touched the end. The heel ran narrow, which is good for me, and there was no slippage. The foot bed was cushioned and there was decent arch support. Tightening down the lace to full capacity made the middle of the shoe narrow enough for my foot. However, the toe box is very wide and voluminous. The worst part of this shoe is that it sort of pushes the foot into pronation. Maybe this would work for supinators, but I don't see how it can work for anyone else.
