I have numerous foot issues, plantar fasciitis, mortons neuroma, heel spur. I wanted to like the Arahi 5 but I need a little more cushion in sole. Bondi is too thick and feels unstable and has too much padding around heel. The Arahi runs half size too big. I usually wear 8.5 but got 8 Wide. They did fit perfectly but will exchange and try Clifton 8 and Carbon X. I thought back protrusion at ankle looked a bit weird but they fit/feel better at Achilles.

These are good looking shoes but I felt like Cinderella’s step-sister trying to put them on. No was was my foot going in there!

These shoes last a long time and are overall very good. First impression was that the midsole wouldn't give back too much, which is true, but it does help with shock absorption, which is essential. Provides great stability also. And for anyone who seriously wants to know about the lifespan, mine are 1400 miles in, and I think they are close to their end, however I could see taking them to 2000 if I was being little more risky. The fabric in the ankle area ripper for me after about 400 miles, but that hasn't caused any issues, nor has any other element of the shoe. So all around, this shoe will last you, and you won't regret it.

I love the shoe but it's tight on my right foot where I have a bunion. If I wear them it not only hurts my foot but my leg hurts as well. This is the first time I've ever had any problems with this type of shoe. I am a true 7 1/2 even with the bunion. I needed to order an 8 for that reason in this shoe. Unfortunately, I can't wear this shoe. It would be nice if I could exchange it even though I have worn it twice. Thanks

Very comfortable, I feel like I could run forever in them except they seem a bit narrow. I got a wide which is normally perfect, but I found myself getting pinched blood vessels on the outside of my toes. I do think they are well worth the money though once they are broke in a little and you have good socks

I have plantar fasciitis and like th3 softness and heel drop on these. As a mail carrier, I am on my feet all day. These took a few days of wearing for an hour or so before they hit an acceptable comfort level. I was worried initially but am very happy I stuck with them. So far, so good

I like these shoes but will definetely size down next time. I wear a 8.5 in all my tennis shoes but for these I guess I need to size down.

The most important thing about this shoe is the stability factor. I have some serious foot issues and these shoes are good for some of the day.

Training for my first half marathon so splurged and got this. Best decision ever! I had been training in Nike Pegasus 37s which I also love. Not at much soft cushion as the Pegasus but way more supportive and feel better overall on the long runs.

Nice shoes but definitely run smaller and have a different cut then the Arahi 4s. I prefer the 4s much more for comfort then the new series. Long time Hoka customer but leas than thrilled this time.

I bought this show because after multiple of those running shoe finder tests, this one was repeatedly recommended to me. I tend to pronate and I don't want to ruin my ankles/knees so I tried this out and have really been enjoying it so far. Doesn't cause me ankle pain. It's lightweight so it doesn't feel hard to lift my foot in my runs. Wish they came out with more color combos. My only complaint is sometimes my Achilles is sore after runs. Usually just lasts the rest of the day, but still not too pleasant. Overall, a solid shoe! The Achilles soreness is only reason why I didn't give 5 stars, otherwise I love them.

Product is great, I would be aware that the sizes seem to run smaller than the other shoes. I usually have bought holes at a size 6 in women's and they've been perfect, but these I got as a size 6 and I should've gotten a 6.5 or 7, they seem to be more snug than other Hokas I've gotten like the cliftons.

Not as cushy as I thought, but enough for comfort. A bit tighter at the toes than I normally prefer, but my other shoes have too much give in that area when exercising so I am hoping these will help keep my feet in place during side-to-sides

I've worn Brooks Ghost for years, and after purchasing Hoka hiking boots, decided to try the running shoes. Everything is perfect with the exception of a little bit of heel slipping. I used a slightly thicker sock, and problem was solved.
I'd also recommend:

This shoe is carefully designed for good foot mechanics and ease of putting on and taking off. I like the stability and responsive features. Since I have a narrow foot even the medium is a little too wide. I wish Hoka offered a narrow width on this model.

Loved these shoes, but the wide was just a little too tight on one foot, so need to return.

It’s a winner when it comes to comfort, the top of the shoe is cute. But all together looks is too bulky for my taste, it’s like a croc shoe. Ugly but extremely comfortable.

I loved my Arahi 3s and 4s, they were so comfortable. I ordered a pair of 5s as soon as they came out. I ordered the same size, 10D, as I had previously worn. They were too narrow. I ended up having to get a men's 2E width in order to have the same width as a women's D width in previous models. Fortunately, once I found the proper fit, the Arahi 5s are just as comfortable as previous models.
