Used for walking for exercise. The sole.are loud when walking on sidewalk and road. Left outer arche falls after walking briskly. Not as good as I was told they would be

This is my second pair of Hoka's and I am disappointed with this pick. They hurt my left foot on the left side and when I walk my step is loud. I thought that I just needed to get used to them but they still don't feel right. A waste of my money.

They are a little long on my feet so I am going to try a size smaller but possibly in a Wide shoe style. I was not happy to receive these with dirty soles —- clearly they have been worn outside and with what appears to be cat hairs inside the shoes. ?? I have never received used/worn/dirty shoes from Zappos before, but clearly these have been worn prior to me receiving them. Disappointed in this purchase.

I like the concept of these shoes but they have a clunky weird fit that feels lopsided on my feet

I usually wear a Clifton in a Regular width with no issues, but beware that these are absolutely narrower, so I wish I had gotten a Wide. The toe box is not as roomy and awkwardly longer. I bought them I can use them for biking but they are too narrow for any other use so I would not purchase them again.

After just a few months, the arches became extremely uncomfortable and hurt my knees and hips. I do not run so this was from wearing the shoes just to go to the grocery store, take a casual walk in my neighborhood, etc.

Too big, the color wasn't as discribed and not as comfortable. The return was a easy process so far

I have owned 3 pairs of Hokas over the past 5 years. I was ready to replace with a new pair however all of the shoes I ordered were too narrow and shoe strings seemed short also. Has the manufacture of these shoes changed? So disappointed to have to find a new brand.

I miss the ATR Challenger 5. The 6 is too narrow and not as cushioned in comparison to the 5.

These ended up making me have severe foot pain in the arch area. My feet are flat with barely any arch.

I purchased these shoes because they claim to be good for road and trail running. I tried them for two days on trail and sidewalk and they did not work for either. They were not secure enough on the trail and heavy on the concrete. My favorite hokas are the Clifton 7's

I loved the look and first impression was great fit but the more I walked around the house they were too instable, like walking on jello. For some people his might be great but I need stability, so I had to send back. Forever searching for that stability shoe that used to be the Brooks Adrenaline that changed in 2019.

Disappointed that this model did not have a high enough toe box to include my hammer toe. I'll stick with Clifton since I know that works. I thought I was ordering black and what arrived was navy blue. I'd have kept them if the toe box was good.

I have worn nothing but the Challenger for 5-6 years. The new iteration of the 6 is the first one that hasn't fit. I find it too narrow in the toes, I don't care the feel of the new fabric. Also the is no mention of the early stage meta rocker and the early stage meta rocker is the reson my ortho recommended these shoes.

I walk at least 2 to 3 miles a day and have to wear orthotics. I love the support my 3 previous pairs provided but these were not as comfortable. I ordered the exact same size but the shoe rubbed on the inside side of my right foot. I was really disappointed because I do love the brand and wanted a fun color instead of always ending up with navy color shoes. Because of the orthotics I have to wear 8.5 W and the color choices are very limited. I love fashion and color and wish I could find a comfortable sturdy HOKO in awesomeness colors.

Bought these shoes for work, I'm a nurse & on my feet a lot. I'm not really impressed with the comfort for the price. Would not make another purchase.

Soooooo disappointed that the 6 wasn’t sized like the 5! I LOVE the challenger 5. Took it out of box and hiked 6 miles first wear! As soon as I took the 6 out of box it looked longer and narrower, and it was ? Returned it.

I don't really think I have "wide" feet. But I like my toes to have wiggle room, and I sometimes wear thick socks or toe spacers for bunions so I order wide shoes when possible. If when you take your shoes off, and you breathe a sigh of relief because your feet are finally "free,", then it's my opinion that your shoes are snugger than they should be. I have both the Gaviota and the Arahi wide versions, and they are deliciously roomy. Unfortunately they don't have great traction of hiking so I ordered the Challenger ATR 6. Same size (6.5 wide). But man oh man, not only do they NOT feel like wide, they feel super narrow! Just slipping the shoe on to try hurt my bunion. I unlaced the shoelaces a lot but the fabric part still squeezed uncomfortably right up against my bunion -- which doesn't usually happen with ANY shoe so immediately. If these are wide, I can't imagine how tight a narrow must feel like!

I bought the 8 wide but the toe box is just so narrow. If you have a more rectangular forefoot like I do, these might not be the best fit as the shoe seems to taper inward at the toe while having a pretty wide heel. They also seem a little heavier than the old models, but that might be me. The sole of the shoe is great however, very supportive.

Feels like a hard insole. Even changed the insole and it still did not work. I wear a wide and it was very tight in the toebox and fabric not forgiving. Since I have a hard to fit foot I always try the women's Hoka made in a wide. I also like the navy blue color very much. Had to send back right away.

I have many pair of Hoka's. They all feel amazing on my feet. But, this pair does not. I thought I would give them a little longer of a try but so far after I wear them my feet just hurt. I will continue to wear Hoka's just not this particular one.

Hoka shoes are not to the standard size of women shoes. I wear a size 8 in ALL running brand shoes. Size 8 is too big in Hoka shoes for women!! So, I buy online tge women's challenger atr 6 in a size 7.5 and it is too small!! Very frustrating!!
