I wish more women's shoes were found in wide sizes and more color choices.

This year's Challenger is much more narrow then the last 2 years! I wanted a new pair, but cannot wear these now because of the much narrower fit all over - and I usually order a Wide width. Otherwise, great features & function.
I'd also recommend:

The fit is perfect - true to my size 9, and the width is also just right... I was told to order the wide even though my foot is not wide, so I am happy that I didn't. I wish there was a navy option in this style... maybe it was not available in my size?

I loved everything about these shoes, except felt they were a tad too narrow. I couldn't try the wide, but I note that many people also thought the regular was too narrow.

This is my first day wearing my new shoes. Comfortable as a cloud. No breaking in period required. Loving my Hoka shoes. This is my third pair and I'm sure they won't be the last.

I love the feel of the foot bed, but the shape of the forefoot could use to improve. I have never purchased a wide width and in these shoes even the wide width cramps my little toes. These shoes would be near perfect if they had a more "foot shaped" toe box. Hint hintI hope you are listening HOKA!

Comfortable and reasonably cute, these appear to be great shoes for people who combine trail and road running; however, I had mine for less than a month when the tread started peeling up. I’m guessing I just got a defective pair. ?????

I have a narrow foot, so I always find the fit to be loser than I would like. My shoes wear out on the back of the heel from rubbing up and down as I walk. Other than that I like the fit.
I'd also recommend:
Natural balance because they come in narrow

I was hoping to purchase another Torrent 2, but it appears Hoka might be fazing them out? So I decided to try the Challenger ATR 6. I always need to replace the inserts with my own custom orthotics. I was concerned that mine would be too thick, but I'm able to hike just fine in them. I still prefer the Torrent 2 but it's nice to know I have an alternative. I wear shoes in either 8 or 8.5 US and the Hoka 8.5 fits great and allows my toes to move freely. I've also washed them in the washer and let them air dry multiple times with no issues.

The ATR 6 are a little bulkier that I'd like, I had the Hoka Clifton 7 and usually have a couple pairs of tennis shoes on hand. I went back to the Clifton 8 and really like them better.

I am trying out the shoe and it's a Hoka so what is not to love but I thought I was buying a black shoe and it is BLUE. So just be forewarned that Black iris is really a navy blue.

I bought this to help with a bought of plantar fasciitis. They helped alleviate the pain and look cute. My only issue it that the sole is already peeling off on one shoe. It's an easy fix, just disappointed.

Fit and size were off because shoe was too long. Also, the color did not agree with me.
I'd also recommend:
Right now, Hoka is the only shoe I can wear.

Thanks to those who mentioned that these shoes run large. I ordered 1 pair in my normal size and another pair a half size smaller and indeed, my normal size was too large. I kept the smaller size. Otherwise, I am happy. So much cushioning!!!!

I have had 5 previous purchase of differing styles of Hoka. From an appearance standpoint, I like the looks of the Challenger ATR 6 . From a comfort standpoint, it is not my favorite as it is stiff nor does the arch feel as supportive. I will continue to purchase Hoka but probably not the challenger ATR 6 again.

Could have sized down at least by half a size. Extremely comfortable and I already notice a huge difference in my comfort level while on my feet all day at work (surgery tech). Ready to order a second pair to use as my daily non-work shoes!

I normally take a 7 in a shoe. I’m sneakers , I usually go up a size because I wear a heavier sock. They fig but wonder if I should’ve gotten a 7 1/2. Next time I’ll order both sizer & decide. I definitely can still wear them.

I bought the Challenger ATR6 because of really liking my previous pairs of the Challenger ATR 5's. There is a difference from the previous ATR 5's, the 6's are more cushioned which I like, but the problem I have is they are not as stiff in the soles. As I have flat feet and arthritis in my feet, the 5's were more a rocker and did little bending, more comfortable for walking, the 6's though more cushioned bend when I walk and create more pain in the foot I have yet to have fusion surgery on. I love Hoka's but wish they would put the 5's rocker style back into the shoes. My Podiatrist recommends rocker style shoes and is always checking what type of shoe I wear when I see him.
