This was a great product. They are very comfortable and they are perfect for rainy days or yard work.

I love these boots! I just got them in the mail today and they are fantastic. I cannot wait to try them out but they already feel broken in and comfortable just putting them on for a short walk with the dogs. Great looking boots too!

I own tall Hunters too. Live on a farm and use them all the time. Comfortable for working and walking.

I bought the Hunter Original Short Gloss boots in graphite. I chose graphite because I feel that it's a more fun color than black but it's still neutral and dark enough that it won't show the dirt. I normally wear a size 9 1/2 or 10 shoe or a size 40 or 41 in shoes with European sizing. I bought the Hunter boots in size 10 (size 42) because when I tried the boots on locally, the size 9 rubbed against my heel. The size 10 is slightly roomy but not too big for taking my dog on long walks. They slip on and off very easily. I wear them with athletic socks or thicker socks when it's cooler. The boots rinse off easily under the faucet after my dog drags me through the mud! I keep wishing for more rainy days just so that I can put on my Hunter boots! As I'm only 5'2", I think that the tall boots would come up too high. The short boots are perfect. I can even stuff my jeans/pants into them and of course they work best with leggings. Also, they don't smell of rubber like a pair of less expensive boots that I own. Ordering from Zappos is always a pleasure. It's the only way I can be assured of finding the size and the color that I want and the shipping is so quick and efficient.

I love these boots! I got gray because I wanted the option of wearing it with brown or black, and this color does the job nicely. I typically wear 8.5, but size 38 in Birks, so I went to 39 in the boots and it is perfect. I also got the sock liner, and according to the site I should have gotten size large for size 8 boots, but I didn't want a lot of extra material (as some other reviewers found to be a problem), so I got M socks and everything is perfect!

Runs a little large for my general size 8, but fits perfectly for wider feet with the Hunter socks.

Perfect. I love them; stayed on my feet all winter, they go with everything and since they are Hunter you can wear them in the yard. Clean with their spray cleaner and they are ready for going out.

This is my second pair of Hunter rain boots. I normally wear an 8 1/2 in shoes, but I wear a 7 in these, just FYI. They do run big. I bought these short boots so I could go walking in the woods near my home with our dogs, but I was disappointed that the back of the boot cut into my leg (I had bare legs) and left a "burn" mark. My husband solved this by cuffing over the boot, which does not cut in, and it's even cuter! Just an idea if someone else has this problem. Love these boots!

I love these boots! I have a thicker calf and these boots make it so I can wear rain boots and not worry about squeezing into them. I'm thinking about getting a 3rd pair.

These boots are very comfortable for wellies. I wear them around my farm and can walk fairly long distances in them. They are great!

I was very pleased with the quality and fit of these wellies. I expect years of sturdy service from them and the fit was just right for me. I take a 6 1/2 medium in an American shoe. I have an average width and a high instep. I like a lot of arch support and sturdy comfort in my shoes and these were perfect. I will be adding some comfort insoles. There is room for heavy socks. I use them for garden boots. So far they are working fine. If they last as expected I would definitely purchase another pair.

Wonderful boots! I normally wear a women's 9.5 in Scarpa, Montrail and Zamberlan hiking boots. I ordered the 40-41 and needed to put in thick Sole insoles to get the right fit with thinner socks. With the Soles insoles the boots fit perfectly and are very comfortable and were right out of the box. I have a very wide forefoot and narrow heel. The boots have no arch support, so the Soles help with that if you will spend a lot of time standing while wearing these boots. I live in a dusty high desert and wear the boots daily for outdoor chores, ranging from gardening to sawing trees. They are super: at the end of a dusty / muddy day I just hose them off and am good to go inside. The height keeps the bottoms of my pants clean and dry and keeps insects out. The soles grip well on all surfaces, wet and dry. I have bought many other chore boots but these are by far the best and the fire engine red makes them the prettiest, too. They are also easy on and off. I guess you can tell by now that I recommend the boots.

Love these boots! They are the most comfortable rain boots I have ever owned. I live in the Seattle area and spend a lot of time on the soccer field, therefore these boots have seen a lot of action and they still look great, and eventhough I am wearing rainboots, I still feel stylish.

Great choice! I'm petite and 5'4" so the short style hit perfectly at my calf, avoiding the rubber "swish" of the classic. My gait feels stable in in wet/slippery conditions.

The boot was great; it is a little stiff, which I am hoping will soften up as I continue to wear them, but overall a great boot. I find them a little more difficult to drive in, but not too bad. I love the gloss of them; it makes them look a little nicer than a dull boot. Highly recommend!

A Zappos rep helped me so I'd like to pay it forward. If you are a true size 6, you'll notice that the sizing is either 35-36/UK 3 (woman's 5/man's 4) or 37/UK 4 (woman's 6/man's 4), and that most of the reviews indicate that these boots fit rather snugly. If you are a size 6 like me, you ordinarily would go for a European size 36; however, the size range 35-36 will give you a no-space-for-socks fit and may prove a little more difficult to get off (but then again, all rain boots, especially the taller style, have this problem!). I went with the size 37 and they are perfectly comfortable with thicker/wool socks. They do feel bigger than my usual shoes because they obviously are, but they aren't so large that my feet feel huge or that I am flopping around in them. I personally would rather have that then squished toes. The gloss boots do get scuffed more easily.

These boots are so classic - the glossy tone is not that flashy at all. I ordered them with a fleece sock insert, so as to have a snow boot/ rain boot in one. Unfortunately, even with the socks, my feet were pretty cold during NY snowstorm season. I kept them anyway because I need a good rain boot, and I can see these will last forever and are super comfy.

These boots are very comfortable and have helped me survive a snowy winter. They keep my feet dry and are roomy enough for jeans to be tucked in.

Love these boots! Not one bad thing to say about them! The color is really pretty, and not at all too glossy. I will definitely be ordering a pair of knee length boots too! Very classic look that I am sure will never go out of style! Zappos, you rock as much as these boots do!

Love these rain boots! I am 5'2" with athletic calves -- these boots hit mid-calf with a little room left to tuck in jeans or leggings. I wear a 6 1/2 or 7 and my feet or wide. These boots were comfortable with a pair of thick socks. I don't mind the "bloom" but will probably purchase the Hunter spray.

Great boots! I went w/ the shorter version because I'm 5' and the tall ones made me feel like I was wearing hip waders. Not as super shiny as I thought they would be but I was glad for that--still shiny enough. I also got the fleece liners so I could use them on slushy days and they are plenty warm. Great w/ skinny jeans!

These boots are fantastic - they've saved me from months of wet feet! They are not as glossy as they appear in the picture - perfect for jeans & a nice shirt or to run to the gym.

After trying almost every Hunter boot on I choose this one. Perfect for my 14.5 calf, Perfect for traveling into the city with, perfect for a plane, easy to get on and off. FYI, the Huntress get stuck on your feet...eck. I am using the fleece liner, just folded down and a pair of shell socks and the fit seems great. I can definitely get pants, lots of pant tucked in snugly. Next year I will get the Watlings, they were too cool but this was the more practical way to go, especially for air travel. I purchased a size 8 but got the medium liner, has a snugger fit. Zappos rocks! Great Customer service. I love it in the 3rd big box of boots they sent a sugar free Red Bull, too funny! I also received a card from Cristal at CS expressing how sorry they were that I was so unhappy with my original North Face purchase which lead me to Hunter boots.
