The Lipstick Pink is a great color. But boot fits weird. The foot bed is very roomy,but the shaft is too small. I found them uncomfortable for walking. If you normally wear tall boots, then these will work fine. Not for us plus size girls with large calves. Had to return them.

These boots may not last more than 8 months. I bought these boots in black gloss. For me, they were an expensive purchase for rain shoes, but I went for it because I read how dependable they are. I liked the look of them, for rain boots. The short boot allowed me to easily wear them over pants. My real complaint about this boot is that the exterior cracked in less than a year. At first I thought that the cracks were simply aesthetic, and only as deep as the gloss finish (still disappointing), but upon further inspection I noticed that the cracks were deeper making them not water-proof and therefore, pointless. What a waste of money!

I loved these boots when I first received them, and for several months after...but just after the year warranty was up, they started cracking all over. I have tried to patch and repairer with recommended rubber glue, but nothing works. So disappointed.

I was surprised how big these were. I threw out the box and wore them outside, so I cannot return them, but they are way too big! So I sold them used online for a lot less than I spent.

I wore these boots for the first time yesterday. Since it wasn't actually raining when I was commuting to/from work, I left my pants untucked with the boots under my pants. Well the top of the boots left massive abrasions on the backs of my legs from rubbing. Granted I wasn't wearing the welly socks but it was August so didn't feel the need to wear them. Now I know. Beware that the same thing can happen to you. I'm very disappointed since I really liked them beside this issue.

I’m less than 2 years the leather has cracked due to wear. Disappointed in this brand.

How do people wear these? Cute on other people but zero support, there is nothing comfortable at all about these boots. Not sure how they Foley so many good reviews.

I knew from the negative reviews not to buy these but did..worn about 12 times mostly indoors on carpet. Today i stepped out in the snow and my sock became soaked from water from a hole where the sole attaches the to main show shaft. Obviously not well made. First and last experience with Hunter. Save your money.

These boots are stylish and comfortable however they are NOT durable. After buying them in Dec they had cracks and were not longer waterproof by the following April. For the price I would like to see them last longer than 4-5 months.

These boots feel very cheaply made, in fact they feel just like the pair I have from Target that cost $20!

am returning my Hunter boots, I love them but they have already started leaking!

I was really excited to received my Hunter boots in the mail today(Short black gloss) but when I opened the box and took out my boots, I was more than angry. First off, my boots already had the "natural blooming" on them, which did not show in the picture and was not stated in the description. Also, the boots had small black indented "dots' all over the boot. I know it was not the Hunter company's fault because I ordered a pair of Hunter boots off of American Eagle's website and they came in perfect condition. The only reason why I took those boots back was Zappos was having a Black Friday sale on the boots and American Eagle was not. When I pay high money for a pair of boots, I expect them to be in the best condition possible. (Some side notes to consider with these boots) - I usually wear an 8.5-9 in most shoes, I ended up ordering the 8 and they still seem "big" without socks, but if I were to order a 7, they would be too small. I wouldn't say I have small calves nor large ones, but the boots width seems really large as well. --- Overall, I will be shipping back the boots and ordering from a different store. I usually buy most of my shoes off of Zappos, but I guess I'll find a new shoe store to shop at..

They have sent me two pairs, and every pair have been defective!!!! I'm hoping I can really get a good pair waiting for the next one! Also the wrapping paper that comes with the boots it was not the original! The box was used!!! It just really looked like an used pair!! Very disappointed!

Buyer beware! I have a beautiful pair of hunter red boots. They are two years old and look like new. I love them and have received numerous compliments. So, I recently decided to purchase another pair. I decided on classic black. I am tremendously disappointed in this boot. They cannot be compared to the red. They are skimpy & far less substantial than the red pair. If you are purchasing hunter for the first time, the difference might go unnoticed. However, if u have older pairs, expect a big difference in how the boot is being manufactured. I believe in order to keep the price the same, hunter has cut down on quality. This is sad because the boots are fairly expensive. I feel I have been cheated. I am also upset...although hunter boots are lovely, I will never purchase from hunter again!

I am very sad to send these boots back, as I have waited close to a year to find an excuse to have yet another pair of Hunters! Unfortunately, these new Hunters have already been "blooming" in their box - they are covered with the white, dusty film the Hunter company claims is totally normal. I have a newish pair of Hunters which quickly developed this bloom, I followed the recommended cleaning procedure with Hunter products, and as soon as the "shine" dries, the white powder is back. I want fresh shiny boots from the very beginning. Zappos and others should not send out blooming boots!

I love my tall Hunters and I wanted to love these, unfortunately, I wore them four weeks ago and STILL have scars/scabs on the back of my calves from how badly they rubbed against my bare skin. When I wore them around the house to check out the fit they felt totally fine, yet increasing the mileage on the street (walked about 1-1.5 miles) they rubbed the back of my legs raw and bloody. As I bought these to wear in warmer weather, I didn't want to need to wear socks, so this boot just doesn't work for me in the way I intended. Be very sure it won't destroy your calves before wearing them outside of the house. I'm still scarred and paid $150 for the pleasure.

Actually I was very disappointed. They look darker on the web and they were all scratched and stained. I didn't returned them because I don't leave in the states and I had to live and didn't have time
