Purchased for plantar fasciitis pain based on description recommendation. I have found the initial cushioning to be good but has completely worn out within a few weeks. The shoe has a wide width which does not provide a lot of stability through the forefoot or hind foot which leaves significant room for instability through the metatarsals and talus, placing more strain through the fascia. The arch is non existent.

I have been wearing Gel-Nimbus for the past 3 years. They are comfortable and I feel like I am walking on air. The pair I just received squeak when I walk. This hasn't happened before. The noise is annoying. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

The sneaker was listed as wide. I gave it away because it was too narrow for my feet.

I have loved GelNimbus for years but have been disappointed with my recent purchase. This is the first time they were not comfortable from the first time I wore them. They are breaking in now but still not quite there. All my other shoes felt so comfortable and cushioned from the beginning. Also on the third time I wore them the right shoe started to squeak. At first I thought I had stepped in something but that is not the case as it continues to squeak. It is most annoying!

Kinda uncomfortable, too much glue, and the bottom of the sole on the outside looks like it wasn't molded correctly

These shoes run small and narrow compared to the Gel-Nimbus 22's and several of the past models; these are tight across the widest part of my foot and cause my toes to rub up against the front of the shoes. I also felt that they were less neutral than the past model, and shifted some weight to outside of my foot. I returned them and bought a different shoe, but would definitely size up if you're set on buying the 23's.

I think the shoe is well constructed with quality materials. It has a pleasing design & teal color. However, because I purchased the newest Cumulus model first, I'm basing this review on a comparison of both shoes. The three issues I have with this Nimbus are: 1-The toe box is not as wide. 2-The heel feels slightly elevated. 3-The extra cushioning in the back of the shoe decreases space for the foot's length. These are the reasons I give the Nimbus 3 stars and the Cumulus 5 stars. Of course, all reviews are subjective. Thank You!

I love Asics GELNimbus and have been wearing them for at least 20 years. Unfortunately I will be returning these as the height of the toe box is significantly smaller than that in my current GELNimbus 23. Not sure if that's a flaw in this pair, or if Asics reduced the height of the internal toe box support. Either way, they have to go back as the toenail of my big toe now hits the upper part of the toe box. Sigh....Will have to go try on a pair at the store.

The nimbus has fit my foot for years, but this year it did not. Too tight across the top of my foot just distal to the bony prominence. Tying loosely did not improve it. Am returning them

Hard to rate these as I couldn't get the proper size. I ordered the 9 and it felt small overall but also seemed to have a narrow toe box, I have a bunion so that is problematic. 9.5 in the color I wanted wasn't available so can't comment if the nine and half would have worked. But I did order another ASICS style in a 9.5 (GT-4000-2) and that one was ridiculously narrow even in that size. Maybe ASICS just aren't for my foot.

tried on only for sizing ordered 7.5 med felt true to size; top of shoe box marked "defective", soles slightly marked, soiled. Don't understand why they were sent out to customer like this, returned.

I’ve been running for over 20 years and can usually wear about any running shoe without difficulty. I began running in Asics Gel Kayano years ago but moved away from them as the newer versions began to change. More recently I have been wearing Hoka Clifton and New Balance Fresh Foam Vongo. Those have been fine but as I was searching for a new pair the reviews of the Nimbus seemed positive so I thought I’d give ASICS another try. The first day I wore them I ran 6 miles. They felt pretty snug even though I ordered a half size up from my normal shoe size. About 3 miles into the run I felt hot spots on the balls of my feet. This has happened before when breaking in new shoes so I wasn’t too concerned about it. The following day I went for a longer run and experienced the same discomfort on the balls of my feet and in addition, I developed water blisters on the backs of my ankles. I have had some running shoes that I like better than others, but I have never had significant enough issues to send a pair of shoes back until now. The style and colors were great, but these just don’t work well with my foot structure. I felt bad returning them after I had worn them, but the customer service representative at Zappos was so helpful and made the return process easy. I will definitely buy from Zappos again, but just not ASICS.

This is my second pair of these. I clearly liked them so much I wanted another pair but this pair isn't quite holding up. I have worn them for less than a month and part of the bottom of the shoes is already pulling apart from the sole.

I really liked the look of these and they are true to size for me. Unfortunately, they just did not provide enough cushion for walking. I walk A L OT and need a shoe with lots of cushion. Will keep trying!

The shoes felt great, ready to wear right out of the box. But with every step I took was a high pitched squeak. I kept walking around the house hoping the squeak would stop but it didn't. Loved the shoes but not the noise. Returned.

The shoe is nice looking and fit well once I got it on. The shoe laces are horrible! They are stiff and wide and extremely hard to pull through the round holes. Not worth the effort of putting on and off because of the laces so am returning the shoe.

These shoes are very good for high arches. I can feel the difference every time I put them on after wearing other shoes. They're somewhat stylish but definitely not what I would pick for myself if I wasn't restricted to shoes with good arch support. I am not sure about the longevity of the shoes yet. I originally purchased these in November and by January they had holes in the mesh on the top of the shoe, around the bottom of where my big toe would be. Seemed totally random, and the holes were in the same place on both shoes. With some delays, I was able to get a replacement pair for free. It's too soon to tell whether these will have the same problem with the holes.

Have been wearing gel nimbus tennis shoes for running the last 4-5 years. This was the first model that didn't feel as comfortable, too tight in the toe box leading to numb toes and blisters.

Although I ordered a wide, the shoe fits like a regular width. Originally started with with the ASICS Tri, switched to Altra for better fitting shoe in the toe box especially. Back to ASICS to the this model. Not completely sold on it.

I have tried many styles and versions of Asic shoes and I have to honestly say these are not my favorite. I have worn these now for about a month and can give an opinion on wearing these outside on pavement and concrete as well as in a gym setting. When initially putting them on they are very comfortable and light. I usually walk outside on pavement and concrete for 5 to 6 miles 3 to 4 times a week. These shoes were very comfortable and caused no issues with my plantar faceitis. The toe box feels wide and my toes never feel crowded. However, my heel constantly slips in these shoes and eventually my socks invariably end up in the middle of my foot. This becomes frustrating. I use the top lace hole as a heel lock as directed but they still slip. Also, when wearing in the gym on the elliptical machine, these shoes cause a burning throughout my foot when exercising for my usual 60 minutes. I have worn the Cumulus on the elliptical for many years and never had the issue. Sad to say these shoes are a miss for me and I regret buying them. Hope this helps!

I love ASics Gel Nimbus. Great shoe but seems to run shorter that it used to. I wish that I had ordered a 1/2 size up.

Gel-Nimbus is a favorite of mine, but my latest pair is a bit smaller. I always wear 7.5, but these wear smaller in size. I thought they would stretch out but they haven't which is very disappointing because my feet and weight haven't changed. Im stuck with them.

They run a bit smaller than previous versions, my nimbus 22's didn't last very long, this mesh upper is not as durable. Not unhappy, but tired of declining quality.
