I power walk (5 mph) for at least 5 to 7 miles per day. For years ASICS gel nimbus has been my fist choice in running shoes. Sadly, I skipped out on the gel nimbus 21 and gel nimbus 22. These versions did not fit me as well as the gel nimbus 20. The toe box/shoe felt too wide in the 21 and 22 versions. I even tried to size down to a 7.5, but this didn't help. I was eager to try the gel nimbus 23 after reading about the design changes. I bought a pair as soon as they were available for purchase. I bought my usual size, 8. The shoes run true to size. When I put them on for the first power walk and jog, I was impressed. The cushioning during the power walk and jog didn't allow for any pressure points. I felt the shoes had the appropriate amount of cushioning, support and stability. The cushioning seemed to just mold to my foot. These shoes aren't as wide as previous versions and my feet didn't slide off of the sides of the shoes. The shoes are lighter and the back of the shoe doesn't come up as high as the earlier versions. The tread has great traction. After wearing the shoes for a couple of days, I couldn't wait to tell my sisters how much I liked the new gel nimbus 23. I bought my sisters each a pair for Christmas!! I highly recommend these shoes! I can't wait to see if new colors will become available. Thank you Asics for releasing one of the best versions of the gel nimbus!

Awesome, wish they would stop trying to be like everyone else! You do, did great! Work on your colors. Be bold be awesome. Cushioning is your gold spot! Don't drop that!

These are the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever owned! Please order half a size up. I originally ordered my regular shoe size, which is a 9. When they arrived I was surprised my toe was at the end of the shoe. Sent them back and just received the 9 1/2. They fit like a glove. The silver is actually a light blue color, I wish they would list them as that color. I’ve always worn Aesics, and this one does not disappoint. Truly an incredibly comfortable shoe I would highly recommend.

Thank you Jesus! After 6 returns I've found the perfect shoes. I have narrow, skinny feet with high arches ...and these fit like a glove. They are very cushioned and have the perfect amount of structure and stability. Recently I've purchased Nikes for style, but the quality can not compare to Asics. Asics PLEASE UPDATE YOUR STYLES.

Very comfortable with a lot of support. I like these shoes much better than the Gel-Nimbus 21, which did not last long. I would like the Gel-Nimbus 23 to come in more creative colors. There is not much choice.

I was happy with these for about 2 months, then I noticed the tops were wearing thin. I only wear them to work. Now, my toe is basically almost through the right and the left is showing the same signs of distress. This is not acceptable for sneakers costing well over $100.00.

They're back! I have hard to fit feet. The Nimbus was my go to shoe for years but the last couple of versions have been awful. I tried a different brand and then ended up going back to my old, broken down Nimbus 18's since nothing else fit. The Nimbus 23 fits like the old 18's and makes my feet happy again. I'll watch for some better colors to buy a second pair . . . and maybe a third.

I am a longtime loyal ASICs buyer. They have always been my go-to show for gym workouts. Unfortunately the soles on the ASICS Gel-Nimbus 23 shoes that I just received started to crumble within 1 hour of my putting them on. This has never happened to me before. I thought it might be a single defect but the replacement pair that I received just did the same thing. Looks like I will have to try something else.

I love ASICS running shoes, particularly the GEL-Nimbus style. I literally ran holes in my GEL-Nimbus 18. I didn’t like the feel of the 21 so I tried a different brand and was disappointed. I’m a neutral runner and run about 20 miles a week. The GEL- Nimbus 23 are so comfy, they are true to size and have a comfy toe box. Although I would like to see some brighter colors these shoes are great.

I suffer from chronic plantar fasciitis and did some research for the best shoes for that and being on your feet all day. These were recommended on an independent forum so I thought i would try them. I've been wearing them for 4 straight days and they are wonderful. My feet pain level is only about a 3 at the end of the work day as opposed to an 8 or 9. They don't hurt as much when I get out of bed. I don't have the leg and hip fatigue I had before when I was wearing Brooks. These shoes are a blessing. There is one little bad thing. They only came with one pair of laces and one of them is already frayed and about to snap (after only 4 days of wear).

Ordered a half size up as advised and the fit was perfect. These shoes are well worth the price!! My legs, back and feet feel 100 times better than in any other running shoe. Loads of cushion in the heel and plenty of room in the toes.

absolutely in LOVE with the color of these shoes and very comfortable. very disappointing that ASICS are not the quality that they used to be. After only a week or two of wearing the shoes (just in the house) the inside of the rubber already let loose. makes me sad that ASICS are not my go-to shoe anymore. ?

I've been a committed Asics Gel-Nimbus purchaser since I began running 18 years ago. Purchased the 23 model and am so unhappy with the changes. More narrow toe box, too much cushioning in the insole and the tread is already peeling off the R shoe. I've only had them 3 weeks.

I tried to get nimbus 20, but they were sold out everywhere I looked. tried the 22, didn't work. the nimbus 23 are perfect. might be better than the 20. nice support, not stiff and rigid on the sides of toe area. i can wear them all day from day 1.

I am a huge fan of ASICS Gel Numbus. I pay top dollar to have the proper fit and comfort to use on my treadmill. There is a bizarre issue I want to report. The purple tread on the bottom of the shoe is pulling up pieces of my treadmill track. See pictures attached. I have never had this issue with any of my ASICS. Very disapointed!

I have been wearing Asics running shoes for two years now. I had the Nimbus 21 the last year. They are a good shoe but the Nimbus 23 are the best ever. I walk at least 8-10 miles a day. When I got the Nimbus 23 I put them on and walked 8 miles the first day. No blisters perfect fit. The next day I walked 15 miles. Still no blisters. Great Great Shoe!!

I love these shoes so much. I just got a desk treadmill & started walking 20,000 steps/day. My feet & legs were feeling so sore using my old New Balance walking shoes. I did a little research about walking shoes that provide good arch support & are supportive in general (I have a history of foot issues & have worn prescription orthotics in the past). I hadn't regularly worn sneakers in years because the NBs never felt good on my feet. These are amazing- cushiony yet supportive. I could wear them all day.

These are my fourth ASICS GEL-Nimbus (had 22, 19, 18) and they are the only version to give me blisters. I think the cushioning is on-par with my prior ASICS and was excited to give these a try when the arrived. As a point of reference, I don't have issues until about 6 miles in, and then from miles 6-13 have discomfort that results in a blister on the inside/side of the foot. It's as if the "joint" where the shoe and sole connect is hardened and creating a rub spot. Too bad ... will purchase another set of 22s until the 24s come out.

GEL-Nimbus is back baby!!! I’m so happy ASICS has taken all of our feedback and brought back (and improved) everything we love about the GEL-Nimbus. The toe box isn’t as large and the underfoot is softer. I have to use Orthopedic insets, which in any GEL-Nimbus has worked well, but with the 23, my feet and ankles seem more stable. I’m an 8.5, but have always wore a 9 in ASICS.
