I wore ASICS in high school many years ago and kind of forgot about them, until I started needing shoes to support my high arched feet. I read that ASICS provided great arch support so I ordered the Gel-Nimbus. I have worn Saucony’s for years and love, love, love them! I normally wear 7.5 in Saucony, however Zappos suggested size 8 for these shoes, which I ordered. I think that was the wrong advice, as the 8’s are just too big, however I was so excited to get the new tennies that I wore them on a three mile walk. Since then, I have put my orthotics into the shoe, on top of the ASICS shoe liner and that seems to have tightened them up enough that I don’t feel like I’m flopping around in clown shoes. My suggestion is to order your normal size shoe.

I wear Brooks Ghost as my go-to shoe. These were on sale, and I liked the color so I bought them. Big mistake. For me they exacerbated my hip pain to the point that I thought I was going to have to limit my walks. I walk 4+ miles every morning. I sent them back and ordered Brooks Ghost and my hip pain is much better. I learned a very valuable lesson.

Felt small

I liked the shoe. It’s comfy and fit true to size. What I don’t love is that I’ve had them for 6 months and there are holes in the canvas. I don’t run in them and have definitely not done that much walking these past 6 months. My previous gel nimbus shoes lasted much longer with more mileage. Super disappointing considering the price of this she.

I’ve worn Asics for 15+ years, and now a ”B” width has become too narrow. This pair had the sides of my feet hanging over the side of the shoe. The toe box was roomy and the overall feel of the shoe was comfortable, even with my orthotic inserts.

Writing my 2nd Asics sneaker review today...where is the quality control on these shoes...??? My "wide" was not wide. My "wide" - the toe box was shallow so the tops of my toes are pressured. The padding inside the foot bed...marginal. Cost..? $124.95 Asics USED to be a good shoe.

Did not have the usual ASICS fit. Toe box had odd feel & look, and it definitely has a relatively narrow fit for ASICS. Very thick foam. The color scheme is wonderful! Would have loved them...if only...

Out of the box, and for the first few wearings these felt great. But the more I wore them, the more it felt like my toes were getting jammed into the end of the shoes. This was the size that's worked in the past, and the size recommended for me by Zappos, so I'm not sure what went wrong. Unfortunately I can't return them since it took me too long to recognize the issue.

For an average or wide foot, these may be okay, but I'll have to continue my search. Sorry to say that although this shoe is loved by many, it did not fit my narrow, low-volume, long-toed foot at all. In the length I need, size 10 (I wear a 9 or 9.5 street shoe), I felt like I was wearing big sloppy clown shoes. The length was fine, but I could move my foot side to side freely inside the shoe no matter how tightly I laced it. I have the hardest time finding running shoes that are narrow, and have good cushioning but also good support. In addition to having overall too much width and volume, these felt too squishy -- not a firm enough ride. I've had some luck in the past with Salomon and La Sportiva, specifically their trail runners, so I'll head back to those brands to try to find something narrower and with firmer cushioning.

These made my plantar fasciitis pain so much worse. I was getting stabbing pain in my foot after a few minutes of wearing these. I tried several brands that were recommended for foot pain and none of them worked so I'm thinking I must need more support under my arches. They may work for people who just need moderate arch support. Otherwise they seem very well made and cushiony.

I have worn ASICS for almost 20 years and now they seem to be making their shoes smaller and smaller. These were too short in length and my foot felt crunched up all over. I returned them.

Was so small I could barely get my foot inside. Ordering a 1/2 size up.

The fit and arch support was comfortable and I loved wearing them. However, after 5 months the sole is falling apart and the upper shoe is getting holes and overall the shoe is not lasting. This is not characteristic of my last pair of Asics gel Nimbus 19, which lasted forever.

I looked at the shoe when I took it out of the box and thought it was actually narrow, but figured when I untied the laces I could be wrong. It was to be a size 10 1/2 wide, but I felt like Cinderella's wicked step sister since I couldn't even get the shoe on! I double checked the box and it said 10 1/2 wide! I don't know where their quality control is for this company, I think it's non-existent!

These sneakers are just terrible. I have small narrow feet but these are too narrow even for me. They are stiff, uncomfortable, heavy, run super small, look blocky, don’t seem to provide the right kind of support, and my feet have been absolutely miserable the 2 times I wore them (once outside, once for a workout indoors) Since I wore them once outside I can’t return them, which makes me dislike them even more (if that’s even possible)
