Given as a gift to replace an identical pair that had been well worn and loved. Daughter was thrilled to have a new pair. It is her favorite go-to shoe and style.

The ASICS Gel-Contend 7 is a nice looking style, they’re true to size in length, however, they’re a little bit narrow in the width. I am a 9 to 9 1/2 (40 Euro) with a medium to narrow width; I ordered these in a 9 1/2 medium width and they fit perfectly in the length but feel a little bit snug in the width. The attached memory foam insole/footbed has moderate arch support which feels very comfortable. I was a loyal fan of the Brooks brand but since they’ve changed the anatomy of their running shoes, I cannot wear them anymore as they’re no longer comfortable for me. This is my first time trying/wearing ASICS and I’m very happy with them. I also got them on sale which made it easier to give them a try. I highly recommend them, however if you’re a medium to wide width I suggest trying them in both widths to see which one will work/fit best. Thank you Zappos for carrying a large variety of shoes at prices for every budget, and for having the best customer service. I’m truly a happy customer! ?

They were way too short at least a size, had to return.

So frustrating that ASICS sizes are all over the place! They’re really comfortable, but I never know whether to order a 9, a 9.5, or a 10! I had to go up a half size for these shoes, but I really like them, and they look nice.

This is my 2nd purchase of Gel Contend 7. This one runs 1/2 size smaller than my first purchase. I usually wear a 9 1/2 but had to size up to a 10. Shoe is comfy and like the color combo.

Great-looking and -feeling shoes. Gotta say too — Zappos is the BEST at customer service. I had to do an exchange because I ordered up a half size; long story. I had just practically sent my first ones back (easiest return/exchange process EVER!) when my new pair arrived on my doorstep. They have earned in me a lifelong customer. I mean, these guys/gals are awesome. Zappos knows how to do customer service RIGHT. Plus, they’ve got outstanding quality products. A+++

These are a great alternative shoe if you can't shell out the extra cash for the Nimbus. I love the Nimbus, but saw these on sale and gave them a spin. These are good shoes without all the bells and whistles. If you're looking for a Nimbus alternative, these will probably work for you. The sizing is perfect ( I'm a 10.5, but always a good rule to go up a size with Asics.) The wides are adequate, and the colors are really nice and cute.

I bought a size 9, but it runs a half size smaller. The return process was simple, and customer service made it much easier. Order a half size up. The item was returned for a 9 1/2 instead. The insoles are removable just in case anyone is wondering.

This shoe was a good fit for the walking that I do. I do 3,000 too 5 ,000 steps per day depending on my schedule and I need a well fitting shoe I have rheumatoid arthritis. This shoe is great.
