I like the Glycerin 18 much better. The Glycerin 19, I feel do not have near as much cushion as the 18s.

I admit that I have higher arches but felt no arch support from these shoes. If that is not an issue then they were otherwise comfortable.

I am a loyal Glycerin fan, having worn them since Glycerin 9 and have seen /felt the changes over the years. Currently, I have 4 pair that I rotate. Since I haven't been crazy about Gly18, I was anxious to try 19. While, I love the improved cushioning, the toe box has changed. It certainly is not as deep, and I don't think it is as wide. The shoe length seems shorter, as well . After 4 hours of wearing, I'm not sure I will be keeping them.

I liked the different colors that are available in the Glycerin 19?s, but they were just not comfortable for me. I have trouble with my feet, plus arthritis in them. To methem at the heels or higher and they were uncomfortable. I absolutely love the Glycerin 17. I have tried the Glycerin 18, but I think they run a little small in the toe area. I just bought the 18?s and I believe I should?ve got a size up. I have tried many different brands of athletic shoes, but Brooks shoes are the absolute best!

I typically wear an 8.5 narrow width in Oaesics and New Balance running shoes. I have never worn Brooks shoes so purchased the recommended size 9.5 (which seemed huge to me). I just tried them on and they are a full size too large so I will be returning them. As the length does not fit I'm unable make a determination as to width or support. I will order the 8.5 keeping fingers crossed they work for me. I love the New Balance Fresh Foam for comfort but after wearing them for my walks (2-3 miles) I notice my hip, knee and ankles begin to ache. I am thankful Zappos carries a variety of athletic shoes for those of us with narrow feet. Thank you Zappos.

I love the shoe, the fit and support are great, but I was disappointed in the color of the shoe. The description says the color is ice floe, but in the picture it looks white with pink and navy trim. However, the shoe is actually grey with pink & navy trim. I really wanted white. I’m thinking about sending them back.

I liked the look of them, unfortunately they ran a half size too small.

I purchased a wide to fit orthotics and the shoe is just too tight. It has a lot of cushion but also means that even with thin socks, my foot feels too constricted.

I've owned the Glycerin 17, 18 and I'm currently on my second pair of 20's. I didn't care for the 19. The fit was good and the cushion was substantial! The level of energy return when running was low and it took only one run for me to return them. My glycerin 20's are a perfect shoe for long races, high mileage training days, easy paced runs or when my body needs extra TLC! They run a bit wide in the forefoot but in the winter they is ideal for thicker socks!

I was really hopeful for these 19's, as the glycerin 18's were the first brooks I ever bought and we're the best shoes ever. They had such an amazing squish to the whole sole of the shoe that gave the cushion I needed. As soon as I tried in the 19's when they came, I could tell they were not anything like the 18's. The 19's are much more firm and felt like a rick under my heel. Standing in them actually hurts my heel and made it burn for the first 2 weeks. This has gotten slightly better, but now they have begun to hurt my arch. I realized after my arch began hurting, that they lack arch support near the inside of the shoe. The 19's still have a little give to the outsole when jogging, but nothing compared to the spongy-squish that the 18's had. And now, I can't get the 18's anymore. I will say I also tried on a pair of the 20's, and they felt no better than the 19's. I'm gonna keep trying the 19's for a while to see if anything improves within the 3 month return period, but otherwise, they are going back. Please, bring back the softness of the 18's!

I have had nothing but problems with the Glycerin 19 :( The back of the heel is VERY stiff and causes my achilles to be rubbed raw any time I wear them, even if just going for a short mile walk. Forget running in these, I had to break out my worn down Adrenaline GTS for that. These will either be donated or left for chores shoes, and I've already reordered some Adrenaline GTS for my runs.

I was wearing the Glycerin 17 Wide for support around the house. Got the 19 wides as a replacement but they are WAY too narrow and have zero arch support. Feels like a totally different shoe. I am returning.

Glycerin has been my go-to shoe for years; however, I now find them to be very uncomfortable for long stretches of exercise. I have relatively narrow feet, but the toe box is too confining and the shoe seems to get shorter and shorter with each new pair I buy. Will not purchase Glycerin again. Very disappointing.

I miss the wide toe box. The shoe is way narrow now. And the support is just not there. I have loved the brooks shoes, but am seriously considering switching brands. I?m really disappointed;

Dang it - wore one time and they rubbed blisters on the back of my ankles. I should have bought the Ghost. I thought they would have fit like my old Glycerin 19 but no such luck. :(

Love the looks of Glycerin Running The toe box is waaayyy to tight across the top of my foot. Laces are barely long enough to tie. My little toe would go numb while wearing them. I stand on my feet 10+ hours a day and when I got home my feet especially the right one and legs were hurting me. Loved the cushion provided on heels. Sadly to say after talking to Brooks on chat ?- they know that the Glycerin 19 model is tight & narrow across the top of foot & toe box. Nothing is said in the shoes comments about this problem but they did correct the problem in Glycerin 20 and made it wider! I am returning the Glycerin 19 Shoes for another style

very disappointed in the cushion. Have other glycerin shoes. By far the 17 is my favorite. Did not feel this one was as comfortable or soft as previous, so I returned them

Comfortable base/bottom of shoe but the heel sits too high and causes blisters. Worn this style for years but unable to wear it now due to this

I am quite disappointed in this shoe. I tried to give it a chance, even after it rubbed the back of my ankle raw causing a blister, I decided to try an wear higher socks to avoid the problem. But unfortunately, a couple days ago, I sprinted across the street to make the light and as soon as I got to the curb I could barely walk as I seem to have injured a tendon or ligament near my achilles. This has never happened before while wearing a Brooks shoe. I really need a good shoe and now have to figure out if any other Brooks will work for me. I have always loved Brooks, so this is a major disappointment.
