They were a little snug for the size I take and the shoestrings were too short. Once I got them broke in they were comfortable.

Not my favorite. Too snug, wrinkle in the toe box.

I love these shoes. I use them for my running shoes only. Really hate they have been discontinued. Tried the Glycerin 20 and they were more narrow and did not feel as good on my feet.

Great feel with just the right amount of stability. The insoles adapt to your feet nearly immediately.

I have very fussy feet. These shoes make my feet sing!

I bought these to wear all day but love the support so much, I will only be running in them. The best running shoe I have worn in decades.

This is one of the few women's shoes that has enough room in the toe box. And that's not just width. The flexible fabric across the top of the foot really cuts down on friction especially if you have hammer toes or other sort of toe deformity. While the shoe has plenty of cushioning, I still use a foam insert for better comfort. Highly recommend!

First I need to start by saying that I?ve run in so many different brands and styles of shoes, including ghost. I really liked the ghost but then tried the glycerin 17 and ABSOLUTELY LOVED them, I have been wearing running shoes for 30+ years and I?ve worn all different brands. When I first wore the glycerin 17 I thought ?this is the best shoe I?ve ever worn? They were so comfortable right out of the box. I got excited to purchase the glycerin 19 and couldn?t wait to wear them. I tried them for 2 weeks and they never got any better. They dug into my Achilles no matter what sock I wore. They squeezed my toes til my toes hurt, even after I was wearing the shoes. I couldn?t wear them anymore. Brooks took them back for a full refund and did it quickly and easily through the mail, which was great, because they are pricey. I hope they go back to the old style because I have never had shoes as comfortable as the 17 but I?ve also never had shoes as UNcomfortable as the 19 (unless you include high heels)

A tried and true - this is my third pair of the 19s. I recently tried the 20s and immediately returned them as they brought back neuroma pain that I haven?t felt in over a year. I hope the 19s stick around for a while, as I do not like the new cushion of the 20s.

I have worn Brooks shoes for a while - always ordering them online. I wear a 7. My latest pair seem much smaller. They make my heels bleed, so I can't wear them. I'm trying to wear the around the house to "break them in.". On the plus side, when I did wear them I could tell a huge difference in springiness from my older pair. I'm a serious walker btw.

I buy 3-4 sneakers at one time .. two pair for work( nurse) .. one pair to work out at home gym and treadmill and another for outside walking and running .. I love this sneaker and have been wearing at least 8years ? the only thing I do wear a wide width and they seem to sell out quickly and can only pick from 2 colors , would like to see more options to choose from ?

Comfortable base/bottom of shoe but the heel sits too high and causes blisters. Worn this style for years but unable to wear it now due to this

Loved the Ghost 13. Tried these in same size but ran small. Took out insoles (to remove extra back heel cushion) and got blisters on the back of heel (by achilles tendon). I should have returned the shoes but tried to make them work since the newer Ghost was not available in a wide version at the time

I?ve worn Glycerins for years, but this model is not the same. They give me heel blisters even on short 2 mile walks. The cushion is fine, it?s the heel portion that is making me bonkers. I?ve been wearing bandaids and not been able to walk/run for a week.

The back of these shows are too high and very uncomfortable. Caused huge blisters on my heels. I even sized up like others recommended. Very disappointed.

The shoe is nice. I got a wide Bcs I have wide feet. The sneaker felt like a regular medium fit. Tried an extra half size up and wide and still was snug. Wish they actually were made for wide feet, when they say wide option

Overall, the feel of the Glycerin 19 is good. I especially like the cushioning for the soles of my feet, which is why I purchased this model in the first place. However, it is difficult to get the shoe to lie correctly at the top of my heel. Never had this problem with the Brooks Ghost model.

I'm a huge fan of Brooks and have worn the Glycerins for a long time - but I'm somewhat disappointed by the past two (the Glycerin 18 and Glycerin 19) that I've ordered. They have become much tighter and more uncomfortable - I've even had to go up a size! I used to wear them around - to the store, to the airport etc - but now the only time I really wear them is to run in them because they are just uncomfortable. Not sure what changed.

I'm not a runner. I'm a walker. The ad said that this model was very good for runners or walkers. I had been having issues with my mcl that I aggravated this past spring. These really helped. I don't have mcl pain any longer. I love the look and they feel like walking on Tropicana Field, for those who have ever walked it.
