It's a good shoe, but does not feel like the Glycerin 18. These feel more like the Ghosts than Glycerin to me. They have a wider toe box and thicker heel. Which, I love the Ghosts which is why I gave it 4 stars. I typically buy Ghosts to run in and Glycerins to wear to work, and unfortunately these were just not as cushiony as the Glycerin 18 which is what I was hoping for. I am still keeping these because they are nice, but if I had known I probably would have stuck with the 18s.

HI I do like the Glycerin 19 but I am finding the Ghost shoes might be my preffered shoe. I would have purchased the ghost but you are always out of the Wide width. NOte : the search on your site makes it difficult to determine wide options in the size. If i filter wide only the Wide options available in the size I select ideally would show up I am a loyal Brooks runner- and you do have great service .

It's like running on clouds. I love the 19s, and I also loved the 18s. They feel the same to me. But I really like purple color. I wish Brooks would come out with some more pinks and purples and teal colors.

When Brooks asked if I would review the Glycerin 19 shoes and would get to keep them, free of charge, I was so excited. You know that new shoe excitement feeling?? As soon as I put them on, I thought the bottom (outsole/midsole) was wider than I was used to, but after taking them out for a couple jogs, I realized it is likely that the toe box / upper is just narrower. So much so, that my feet tingled and after a couple miles my big toes were not too happy being squeezed. The larger toe box is something I have always loved about Brooks shoes- I guess because I really need it. The Glycerin 19?s have all the stability and cushioning to be expected with the DNA Loft. On my next runs, my feet (and toes) were happier in the 19's with thinner socks. I will always love Brooks shoes!

I have been wearing Brooks glycerin sneakers for running for several years now. However, I have been very unhappy with this edition. I wear a wide shoe and the 19 comes very narrow, even in size wide. I am going to look for a new running sneaker.

I seriously hate even leaving a bad review to Brooks because I love them so much but for me personally, these shoes weren?t it. They felt like they run small and aren?t very breathable. Hot feet on a run is seriously the worst for me. Not my fave. Still a loyal customer

First time buying directly from Brooks and this version of their shoe. Overall great show! You feel like you are walking in a cloud. The pink is brighter than I expected. One downfall is it rubs against the back of my left heel. I have to wear a band aid or ankle sleeve to prevent the rubbing. I was hoping these would be a good travel shoe but I?ll have to use them more for running errands.

I a long runner. Not enough plush. My knee?s swelled up on first run at 8mile on hilly road. By 10 miles, I forced myself to stop. Could not walk upstairs and needed a day to recover. Toe box was good, no blister forming, bounce good, stability was good, weight good. Style great! I would use as walking only.

Love the soft cushion support but the size and width was too tight for me. Was sad to have to return. Darn and they were a great price on sale.

I have worn Brooks shoes for about ten years now and love the brand. Unfortunately, this style is my least favorite. I have a pretty normal shaped foot and purchased the same size I?ve always worn, but these shoes just aren?t that comfortable. Sometimes they run the top of my foot incessantly. Other times they pinch my toes. My foot size hasn?t changed, I just think this model was a ?miss?.

Have worn Brooks glycerin and ghost for many years. Unfortunately these felt tight. I have small narrow feet size 5.5. The color I ordered and wanted was no longer available in a bigger size to try.

Very narrow across box/joint where toes meet foot. Used on elliptical and toes started going numb! This was medium width which is what I normally wear, and the tread seems as wide but the actual shoe part itself is narrower than say the Ghost, which is what I used previously.

I like my older Brooks better. These don't feel as cushy and the toe bed is more narrow

I usually buy the Adrenaline but decided to try these. They are not as comfortable and hurt my feet.

I was disappointed in my latest pair of Brooks shoes. Identical shoe but didn't fit the same.

These run very small! I'm always a size 8 in brooks (and 7.5 in other brands.) I had to size up to 8.5. Also around mile 3-4 I start getting a pain in the middle ball of my foot near by toes. I'm hoping it goes away after I wear them more (although I already have about 70 miles on them.) Not my favorite iteration of Glycerins...

The wide width runs narrow on this model. Buy the 20 instead which is back to its normal wide toe box

I love the feel of the shoe, but I think this model runs smaller than others. I had a pair of the Adrenalines in a women's 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I bought these in a 9.5 also and feel they're a little small lengthwise. Wish I had gone up a 1/2 size.

I have worn Brooks shoes for a while - always ordering them online. I wear a 7. My latest pair seem much smaller. They make my heels bleed, so I can't wear them. I'm trying to wear the around the house to "break them in.". On the plus side, when I did wear them I could tell a huge difference in springiness from my older pair. I'm a serious walker btw.

Loved the Ghost 13. Tried these in same size but ran small. Took out insoles (to remove extra back heel cushion) and got blisters on the back of heel (by achilles tendon). I should have returned the shoes but tried to make them work since the newer Ghost was not available in a wide version at the time

I was hoping for a model with more cushioning than the ghosts. I did feel that, but this particular show made my feet so hot. I wore them twice before having to return. I also had to do a half size larger than any other model I?ve worn in ghosts.

So disappointed in the size. I've purchased size 7 1/2 in the past (shoe size is 7) and the fit has been perfect. The sneakers felt tight when I initially put them on and then left a red mark on the top of my feet after walking in them. I'll return them but now don't know what size to order.

I’ve owned many pairs of Brooks sneakers. This was the first pair ever to fit and feel so poorly. The soles are awkwardly wide kinda looks like you have snowshoes on your feet! I wish I had listened to other reviewers advice and order up a size (or half size) ordered two pair and returned them both.
