These are my 1st pair of Glycerins. I usually get the Ghosts. You?ll want to size up 1/2 a shoe size because they run a bit smaller. I normally wear a 7, but buy 7.5 for a little extra room. The 7.5 was too small for me & my toes touched the front of the shoe. I had to get an 8; this is the first pair of size 8?s I?ve ever had to order. Aside from that, I do like the comfort and look of the shoes, but I?m always gonna be more partial to the Ghosts.

Toe box is a little narrower than previous versions. Prefer the wider toe box

I am about 100 miles into these shoes... the soles are excellent... one problem is that the front toe is slightly loose and can irritate the top of the toe... otherwise, very happy.

I love Brooks shoes. I have had dozens of pairs including Glycerin, Ghost, Launch, Cascadia. I don't think the newer models are as durable as older models. I used to get my 300-500 miles of running out of a shoe then retire it to yard work or shopping shoes. However, recently after running the miles they fall apart. My newest Glycerin are great so far but I will have to wait and see how they hold up to 300 miles of running.

My left shoe collapsed at the heel. I have tried to mold it back in position, but to no avail. I really like the shoe, but the left no longer fits. Please advise me. I purchased the shoe through your website and paid through PayPal.

Have been using the glycerin model for a number of years and generally I love them. This glycerin 19 seems to have a smaller toe box and is not as comfortable as previous models.

The Glycerin 19 didn't have the cushion as the Glycerin 18. The shoe itself was snug and had lots of support.

Run short. Had to buy 2 full sizes up from my street shoes. Other than that I really like the fit, cushion, and look.

Was excited to receive my Glycerin 19's a couple days ago. Upon trying them on, they felt okay but because they run a bit small, my toes were right up to the top of the shoe (and that was with no socks on). They just weren't comfortable for me and no way I'd be able to wear socks. I am going to try ordering a 1/2 size larger and see if that helps. I'm hoping that will make them more comfortable as well, however, as of right now I think that the Ghost 14 have more cushion than these.

They were a little snug for the size I take and the shoestrings were too short. Once I got them broke in they were comfortable.

The shoe is nice. I got a wide Bcs I have wide feet. The sneaker felt like a regular medium fit. Tried an extra half size up and wide and still was snug. Wish they actually were made for wide feet, when they say wide option

Overall, the feel of the Glycerin 19 is good. I especially like the cushioning for the soles of my feet, which is why I purchased this model in the first place. However, it is difficult to get the shoe to lie correctly at the top of my heel. Never had this problem with the Brooks Ghost model.

I'm a huge fan of Brooks and have worn the Glycerins for a long time - but I'm somewhat disappointed by the past two (the Glycerin 18 and Glycerin 19) that I've ordered. They have become much tighter and more uncomfortable - I've even had to go up a size! I used to wear them around - to the store, to the airport etc - but now the only time I really wear them is to run in them because they are just uncomfortable. Not sure what changed.

I had the same size shoe in the Glycerin 18s which were a tad more comfortable. The toe box on the glycerin 19s seems a bit narrower and therefore the shoe seems to be a bit more snug than the glycerin 18s.

I have worn Brooks running shoes for many years, usually the Ghost. I thought I'd give the Glycerin a shot because of the cushioning. All my Ghosts are a size 6.5 with my orthotics they a a perfect fit. The Glycerin feels really nice but the 6.5 is too short & too tight with the orthotics. I've tried wearing without orthotics but still feel small on my left foot. I really love how the shoe looks but I'm afraid I am going to have to return.

No break in period. I use orthotics w the shoes for plantar fasciitis & heel spur. Very comfortable for being on my feet for most of the day. Love the style & color of the Ombr violet lavender.

Not a runner, but got these for walking and will likely end up using mostly for work and/or day to day wear. Ordered my usual Brooks size and they are quite narrow and not as roomy in the toe box compared to my Ghost 13. The cushioning is good, so I will keep them for that reason alone. I switched to Glycerin because the new Ghost 14 just didn?t seem to fit right in multiple sizes either.

Love the overall support. Had a couple ankle surgeries and the glycerins always make me feel like I was never injured. My only issue is the heel cuff. Been breaking them in for almost a month and can't seem to run without blistering the back of my heels. Longer, thicker socks help but never had issues like this with my previous glycerins. Overall, solid durable shoes for mid-distance runs.

I already own a pair of these and they were true to size --- I loved them so much I ordered another pair (for street running 3-4 miles daily). Unfortunately this pair feels like they are an entire size smaller--- which I guess is typical for this specific shoe. But overall they are a fantastic running shoe!

Great cushion. Looks amazing. Definitely softens the impact of middle aged running. I have a little bit of rubbing against the ankle that bugs me sometimes but easily solved with a piece to tape there before I head out. Would def buy this shoe again! (Would also give it 4.5 stars but either I couldn't figure it out or it's not an option.)

I have always worn Glycerin. Usually they are perfect from the first moment. The 19's are a bit snug, even tho I always get a "D" width. I walk in them every day, but am having the unusual experience of being happy to take them off.

Like the shoe but could use a little more room in the toe box. Have been using Brooks Ghost and Glycerin for a number of years and that is my 1 complaint about both shoes.
