The shoes are cute and felt comfortable at first. I bought them to use at work. I have a history of plantar fasciitis. I?m in healthcare and I?m on my feet for 12 hour shifts. These sneakers actually caused my foot pain to increase. I stopped wearing them and now my feet don?t hurt anymore. I went to a podiatrist and he said he couldn?t believe that Brooks made such an unsupportive pair of sneakers. He basically called them glorified flip flops. I would not recommend these.

I've been running and walking in Glycerins for years. Some models are more comfortable than others but this was the most uncomfortable. They are too short. My toes are cramped in the front and I got a blister on one of my heels. Unfortunately, these will have to go back. I found the Glycerin 18 to be more comfortable with a longer toe box.

This shoe is very attractive and fit so well on my slender foot. However after wearing for just a very brief time my toes and knees started hurting. I think this is an unusual design. Rocker? It husrt at the toe and I realized I could not wear this shoe for the three miles a day that I walk. Guess Im back to Niki which I really didnt want to do.

I have "picky feet" and was worried about these but they are perfect right out of the box. More cushy than the Ghost version that I had been wearing.

I did not like how the base or sole of shoe was so wide from the cloth of the shoe. It looks odd and could be a tripping hazard for me playing sports.

These Brooks--or their latest incarnation, depending on the year--are my general go-to shoe for running on pavements, 3 mi/day (thin woman of-a-certain-age, five-decades-long, uber-hyphen-user) runner as I am. Content with the consistency.
I'd also recommend:

So disappointed in this new version. I've had the 17 and 18 and they were great. The 19 has a "flared" sole that looks and feels strange. I have always ordered a 9 and the new version is just a little too short.

I wear these with orthotics for plantar fasciitis and they are great. I've bought this model several times. I buy a wide, and if they had interesting colors in wide, I'd buy more!

I've been wearing Brooks for 15 years. I'm usually an 8.5 but wear a 10 in Brooks. So, if you're new to Brooks running shoes, I'd go up a size. I also wear them with Superfeet inserts. These are well-crafted shoes that offer excellent support. I'm a runner and I'll never wear anything else.

I have been wearing glycerins for years and this was the first pair I have been disappointed in. They are not as comfortable or supportive as my previous pairs. Putting on my old ones feels much better.

These aren’t far the worst Brookes I’ve ever purchased . I am a nurse in a busy ED and I’ve worn Brooks for years. Either Zappos sent me a knock off shoe or the quality of Brooks is declining. Very dissatisfied

I have been running in Glycerins since 2014. The last few models have a significantly smaller toe box, are more narrow, and the 19 is by far the worst. I am so disappointed that the newer models are nothing like the older models that were so comfortable.

Very comfortable shoe. I under pronate and as soon as I put these on I could feel a difference. They were about 1 full size smaller.

These were fantastic! I purchased them while training for my 10K and now I will start training for my half marathon in them. They are super cushion-ey and provided great support. My knees were happy, as were my toes. I have bad knees and rather flat feet, so these were definitely a win! I'm actually thinking of getting a second pair to alternate for training. Highly recommend them!

Good running shoes. Excellent support. I have been wearing the Brooks Glycerin for years in the same size. With this pair, when I wear short socks, the back of the heel moves the sock, and I end up with horrible blisters. No idea if they changed the shoe, but this is a bummer for summer running. In the winter, I wear longer socks, and there's not an issue.

Pro: look good, feel good, airy, I can put my orthotics in and the orthotics don't "fart". Con: TBD, if at all

These are great running shoes, very comfortable and stylish. This is actually my second pair because I wore out my first pair.

I am so disappointed. I ordered the same size as the prior model, and walking around the house, they were fine, but in a run, my toes were incredibly painful. They are deceptively large, when they are in actuality slightly smaller than the prior version. Unfortunately, I tried the other pair, so cannot return either. Huge $ wasted.

Trying a different model than Ghost. Much better cushioning and support in the Glycerin. Hope they add more colors soon!

The only negative thing is that this shoe is always sold out. I need a wide width. Excellent for marathon running but size up for better fit and toe protection.

The toe area was wider than my other style from Brooks. Not quite as good a fit for my feet. Really nice shoes.

After several attempts to really want this shoe to work, the design still doesn’t come close enough to earlier versions. Compared to an earlier model, this shoe was much heavier and bulkier making me wonder why they needed to modify something that wasn’t broken IMO. Unfortunately, I must exit the Brooks line for another brand.

I’ve been running in Brooks Glycerin since the very first edition and this is the first time I’ve been unhappy. I usually wear an 8.5 and based on the website recommendation I ordered a 9. I compared the soles to my Glycerin 18’s and they were identical, so I thought the size would be fine. I ran an easy 3 miles in them, nope. I have a huge blister where the top of the heal on the shoe meets my Achilles. I’ve NEVER had to break in Brooks shoes and I haven’t had a blister since I started wearing brooks. I can’t return these because I ran in them and my Glycerin 18’s are shot, so I have no idea what to do now since I’ve ran in Brooks since college. The only reason I can think of why these were an issue was that the 19 has way more padding inside the shoe, so even though the sole is the same (I compared my 8.5 18’s to the 9 19’s), it’s making the shoe really cramped.
