When I first ordered these, the recommendation was to order half a size down. So I did, and that was a mistake. Then I tried my regular size, and they were still too snug. The best fit was half a size UP. I am trying the Glycerin after years of wearing the Ghost. These definitely have more cushion, but want to put in a few more miles before I decide which I like better.

I so wanted to keep these. They are great fitting, look good on my feet and so cushiony. But I need more arch support for overpronation and stability so I had to return them. I have worn Brooks Ghost for a while, which I loved but started having foot pain so decided to try Glycerin for comparison. They are just slightly more comfortable than Ghost but feel very much the same as far as stability goes. They also run slightly shorter in length than the Ghost and I order up 1/2 size in both. Great shoe otherwise.

I normally wear a size 8.5, and had to size up to a 9 in this latest version of the Glycerin. They run short. Once I did that, they fit great!

This is my first pair of Glycerin. I usually wear the Ghost 12, I have 3 pairs that I rotate for the gym/treadmill 5 days a week. I try to avoid injury or any foot problems by changing out my shoes everyday. This pair of Glycerins fits well but I find it very different than the Ghost. The toe box is much wider, where the Ghost is more snug in that area. Also, my first time wearing them, the balls of my feet after a mile were burning. I hate to think that I have to spend another $30 or so for new insoles to avoid that. We'll see what happens after my next two runs with these. Fingers crossed.

I have serious foot problems and wear a custom orthotic. These shoes accommodate the orthotic so well.

These shoes feel really great on the feet. Fit is better than the previous Glycerine model, and the ride is really soft. However, I like to be a bit closer to the road when I run, and ultimately I decided it was too soft for me and the toe box was a hair narrower than my Ghosts, so I ended up returning.

The Brooks Glycerin 19 appeared to have been worn. Very disappointed.

These shoes are very nice looking, but they really aren't that comfortable and they run very small all around. Will have to return. I cannot wear them.

I ordered the same size that I previously ordered in the Brooks Ghost and these were too small. The exchange process (exchanged for another pair of Ghost) was easy and fast. These run small so order accordingly.

I typically purchase Brooks Adrenaline but I thought I would try the Glycerin. I think it is important to go to the Brooks web site and follow the directions on what style shoe is for you. They have a great questionnaire that helps you find the right shoe for your walking/running style. The will give you several options and you go from their. These are nice sneakers but I prefer the Adrenaline.

Overall disappointed in this Glycerin style. Have had many pairs of Glycerin and this has turned in to an overall different shoe. Felt very narrow compared to the past pairs I have purchased. Also the front toe box area is very curved up and the overall step just felt completely different. Thankful for Zappos easy return policy.

The size was fine, but not enough arch support. Next time I will be sure to request better arch support.

I just wish Brooks would stop changing the Glycerin. They had a good thing and the constant changes make it hard to find a good fit. I've worn them since version 13 and this is the worst. I normally wear a 6.5 medium and after trying 6.5 wide, I ended up with 7 medium which aren't a great fit but it was the best.

The shoe does seem to run a half size shorter than last year's Glycerin 18. However the 19 does seem to have more cushion. On a side note, when I received these shoes, the laces were untied, and the inside inserts were missing, and the mid-sole on the outside had creasing around the shoe, like it had been worn for a while. Still deciding whether or not to send these back because of this. Hope this doesn't happen again.

These are nice shoes, just not for me. I have a high arch and need the support. None there. In fact, I found the support overall to be lacking.

I really wanted to love these shoes but after walking around an amusement park my legs and knees hurt. Cheap construction, if they were comfortable I could see these lasting 3-6 months. Not happy with Brooks.

These were narrow and short compared to Ghost12 and Launch 6. Both of those are extremely comfortable. These are expensive and uncomfortable. I appreciate Zappos fast service and exchange policy.

This shoe really squeezed the back of my heels until it became sore. There was not much support on the insole so at the end of the day the bottom of my foot had developed a small blister. I have had plantar fasciitis and this shoe did not provide support for my arch and even aggravated my PF.

I do not feel awesome wearing them. I wore then 30 minutes on a carpet and they hurt my toes on the left foot!!! The toes box is not wide enough.

I just got these today—Zappos is amazingly quick—but alas these Glycerin 19’s are a no go for me. They’re VERY wide for narrows—honestly they’re more like wide regulars—and they run short. I have long narrow feet and they just aren’t shaped for someone with my footprint. They seemed fairly cushy but the Glycerin 18s were longer, and a snugger fit for me. Maybe the next model will be a better fit. I’m sure if you have a wider, shorter foot than I do they would work. But for me the search goes on.

I did not like the Giant sized sole that protruded way out past the shoe on the sides.

Ive worn Glycerins for years and these are the worst by far! Was too narrow in the toe box and too small overall. I am typically a 9 or even an 8 1/2 and my toes are jammed to the end. No bueno! Very disappointed.

They’ve destroyed the shoes! They did not make them softer they made them harder on the foot. This would of been my 12 th pair and well they are going back. So much harder on the foot bed and blisters everywhere! They made my feet go numb never had that problem. Will never buy these again!

Worst ever these use to be my go to shoes but not anymore! They are trash they changed the padding and the fit. Now they are as hard as rocks and lost the arch support. For someone with a hard fit so disappointing with this shoes if it not broke don’t fix it. Going back. ASAP They use to be like walking on clouds now it’s like walking on rocks. Bring back the old insides brooks.
