Initially I purchased a size 10 (the same size I have been my ENTIRE adult life) I ordered the Glycerin 19 after my 18s finally wore out. Major shock in the difference of the shoe! While it still has some decent cushion it is definitely not as squishy as the 18. The biggest problem I had is that I had continued foot numbness in the size that I would normally wear. I tried re-lacing several times with only reductions in the numbness but not correction. Returned the size 10 and jumped up to a 10 1/2. After majorly loosening the laces, so far they seem to be comfortable but I definitely prefer the glycerin 18 over the 19. I feel like the 19 has a more shallow toebox and the mesh upper is overall tighter on this newer shoe making it feel smaller than it actually is. Def size up at least 1/2 size!

I'd tried these in my usual Brooks size of 8.5 which were too small. I bought these from Zappos in size 9 which are perfect. Many others mentioned the Glycerine 19 ran small & recommended a half to full size up. They are totally correct so I would also recommend sizing up at least 1/2 to what you'd normally buy in an athletic shoe. I've been a Brooks Glycerine wearer for 10+ years & this is the first time I've had to size up. I also have a higher arch which these shoes are fine for me. I've tried other brands but had symptoms of Plantar fasciitis....not so with Brooks so sizing up 1/2 is far less important then having pain!
I'd also recommend:
ONLY Brooks in athletic shoes!

I think this is my third pair of the Glycerin line. I love the colors, comfort, style, and overall fit. It's the perfect amount of cushion...my feet feel (and appreciate) the love these shoes give them!

I got the 11 1/2 and it was super wide Unfortunately you don?t make a narrow 11 1/2. So I got the narrow 11. Fit in width is perfect but close to hitting the toes. Love the shoe though great support

These shoes offer a cushy ride, which I love. They run very small! I am a size 9 usually, and a 9.5 in running shoes, which I like to be roomy, but I find the Brooks Glycerin 19 a bit small and wish I had purchased size 10.

These didn't work for me. I normally get the glycerin gts 19 but couldn't find them in my size anywhere so I thought I would try these. I had to return them. I still can't find what I want so I'm afraid I need to go back to asics until I can get them again. I like Brooks better when I can find them.

Far narrower (especially in the toe box) than previous models I have been wearing them for many years and now need to find a different style.

These shoes have amazing cushion and they have really helped solve my issues with plantar fasciitis and knee pains. I gave 4 stars because for some reason, the tips of my toes get sore and rub, even after sizing up and getting wides. I?m not sure why the toe issues, and I continue to wear them because the discomfort is minor. If that didn?t happen, then they would be 5 stars for sure!

I have been a loyal Glycerin purchaser for years. The new 19s are so much more narrow through the toe box that my toes fell asleep in the first mile (and I have narrow feet). So disappointed. Had to return both pairs. Now I?m heartbroken because alternating between the Glycerin and Ghost helped keep my feet in excellent health. Now I?m back to trying to find a new shoe.

The shoes are very comfortable and supportive. I will definitely recommend them and buy another pair. One observation...it was recommended to purchase 1/2 size larger because Brooks shoes are known to run a bit small. I recommended buying a full size larger. These are almost too small and I ordered 1/2 size larger.

My Glycerin 18s are a size 8 and I love them. Especially for the treadmill. So, I ordered an 8, extremely small and too tight. I sent the size 8 back and ordered an 8.5. Same issue, too small and too tight. Unfortunately, I had to return them as well. I was trying to avoid the sporting stores, but seems I'll have to go to find the correct size.

This is my second pair of Glycerin 19 and I love them!! I run on road and sidewalk and pronate in and these are great for both of those things. I also have a bunion so I get 1 size up from my normal size and wide, the toe box is comfy and I would definitely recommend this shoe! I can?t wait for the next version to come out! Happy running ????

I have been a loyal glycerin 17 user for awhile. This was a totally different shoe. Gone is the roomy toe box and upper. These made my feet hurt and sore. I am a neutral wearer with need for cushioning and decent arch support. I'd order a full size up if you want to try these 19's out!! Not for me.

I love them so much that I bought 3 pairs within 3 months? I used for short and long distances trainings and what I love is how soft and comfortable they feel. I wear size 7 but with glycerin 7.5 felt most comfortable in my feet. Once you go glycerin, you can?t go back ( I tried adrenaline and ghost but the feel is not the same)

My sister had these shoes and I tried hers on for sizing before I ordered mine. Glad I did because I usually wear size 11 but my toes were hitting the front of the shoe so I ordered size 11.5 and they fit perfectly! Very comfortable shoe!

I have worn Glycerin models for years. I have narrow feet and the Glycerin is one of the few models offered for runners with narrow feet. I had hesitated ordering the Glycerin 19 Narrow due to the unattractive color; however I got desperate after wearing the Ghost 14's (another Brooks model) and suffering with a too narrow toe box. I'm glad I ordered the Glycerin 19 Narrow, regardless of color. The toe box is comfortable and the cushioning is cloud-like.

The running shoes are cute but they run small. I have a small foot and measure a 5-1/2 woman's shoe. I always buy a size 6. I have never in my life worn a size 6-1/2. I needed a bigger size in this sneaker. I am going to return them and perhaps order a different brand about which I feel sure of the sizing.

Glycerin 13 was my first Brooks running shoe, I had 14, 15, 16...etc. Glycerin 19 is the best by far, I wear Width D, they are all very comfortable!
