This is my third pair of Glycerins and they are not nearly as comfortable as previous ones. My toes feel cramped. Did the manufacturing change?? Disappointed because I have raved about Brooks for years.

I loved this shoe, and ordered a 1/2 size larger than I normally take, but still too small.

I have a few pair of the glycerin 18?s in sz 8, but these new glycerin 19?s run narrow in the toe box; should?ve listened to the other reviews about this. I had to find the thinnest socks but my big toes still felt a bit too snug for my comfort. I returned them after a month and got an 8.5?perfect! They?re also more cushioned than the 18?s and I love that!

These shoes were just a little weird for me. It felt like they were too short and that my foot was pitching forward as I walked. Nice and snug through the midfoot which I like. Cushion is ok, not exceptional IMO. The heel box was good as I have narrow heels and the forefoot was wide which accommodates my bunion. Unfortunately they just were awkward. Also felt a tad short. I’m an 8.5 in all my other Brooks but that felt too short in this one.

Still the best shoe out there! I'm on my 5th pair of Glycerins, and this model didn't disappoint. I typically size up a half a size to keep my feet comfy while running.

The shoe is great and I have been wearing them for years. They are so bouncy I love them. I switched to them after I got foot issues with another brand and these are the best for me.

These shoes were extremely uncomfortable, very hard. I have tried to break them in but am not impressed- what happened to the Brooks you take out of box and take off running in?

I am definitely in the minority with the rating I am giving these shoes. But, I have never worn a more uncomfortable pair of shoes. Wore them around the house for a day to break them in. I noticed a pain developing in my heal by the end of the day, which turned into excruciating pain when I worn them on a long walk the next day...my doctor said it was likely plantar fasciitis...thanks Brooks. It took me a several weeks of targeted stretching to get rid of it. I went back to wearing New Balance and haven't had anymore issues. The weird thing, both of the Brooks shoes sit differently when placed on a flat surface. One heal is definitely lower.
I'd also recommend:

Perfection! I am super picky about my sneaker comfort and I could wear these all day! That was not the case with my last pair of On or Hoka's. Very happy with the comfort and look.

I have run in Glycerins for years. They seem to be my go to shoe. I like the cushion and the fact that I can order them in a wide width. They hold up well to road and trail running

Not for me. They may be great for some, but are just wide in the wrong places for my feet!

Shoe definitely runs small. I would recommend sizing up for comfortable fit. I have a hard time wearing them because they hurt my feet. Waste of money!

I’m disappointed as well. They are much more narrow than my 18’s and smoosh my foot!

I have been wearing the Glycerins for many years and they never disappoint. The shoes are comfortable, provide plenty of support and last well. I use them primarily for running and have a pair of Revels that I use for daily work.

It reminds me a lot of the ghost series. Not alot of support and a very cushioned run.

The fit is good and the heel cushion I really like. But I am have trouble with my arches being very tender after just a 4 mile walk. I am going to go back to Snails Pace and see if they can help me. These shoes do not have enough cushion.

They run small compared to the 18’s. I couldn’t figure it out since I’ve worn the others(18’s) before. Anyhow then I ordered up another 1/2 size and they’re still to small. I’m so disappointed. I’ll be returning those too! I appreciate Zappos great service!

Soooo disappointed that brooks changed the glycerin 19. I’ve been a loyal glycerin girl for over 12 years. But these are much shorter in length, more narrow in the toe box and more shallow/flat on top. Hoping brooks ditches these changes for glycerin 20, but I’m returning the 19’s?

This is my second pair of Brooks Glycerin running shoes. I have wide feet, high arches and high instep, so fit is very specific for me. Glycerin 19 offers a perfect fit for my wide feet and amazing comfort for my daily 4 mile routes! I've tried other brands hoping to find the same Brooks quality and fit, but nothing compares. Going forward I will only buy Brooks Glycerin running shoes.

I didn't realize how hard my runs were on my joints until I started doing recovery runs with this shoe. Wow! When I run in these, I feel almost no strain on my knees at all. 6 miles feels like 3. Very comfortable and gorgeous too! I will say that the shoe ran a little small for me--I'm almost always a 7.5, but I had to exchange for an 8, and even still, I feel that there could be a little more room in the toebox. Nonetheless, these shoes are a gamechanger for me. So comfortable and supportive, I love all the cushioning around the heel!

Ordered the Nightshadow/Black/Blue in 7.5. The main color is much more grey than navy and lighter than it looks online. Length-wise they're on the shorter side for Brooks but the width feels normal and the heel is middling, not wide or narrow. They feel comfortable to walk around in, nicely cushioned without being too squishy, but there's nothing supporting my arch. Anything more than walking around the house and I'd be in trouble so they're going back.
