I wanted some extra-cushony shoes for my active job so I am using these for work and not for running. So far they seem great.

I have been wearing the Ghost line from Brooks. I want happy with the fabric on the Achilles with the Ghost 13's. My favorite we the Ghost 12's. The Trade line is lighter than the Ghost line, and the Race 1 seems to resemble the Ghost 12 line. I'm loving this show so far! I will be getting another pair soon.

This shoe is really great. It's light but cushioned, has great ventilation, and doesn't rub anywhere or cause hot spots. I've worn it for 5 short runs (~4 miles), and I'm really happy and plan to buy again. I have a feeling it would work find for medium length runs as well, like a half marathon.

More ?Launchy? than the Launch? If you liked the older versions of the Launch you?ll probably love the Trace. Snug through the mid foot for good support but room in the forefoot. I tried on the latest Launch and liked it a lot in terms of cushion, weight, etc. But the Trace just fit my foot better. Cushioning not too firm, not too soft - not too light, not too heavy, not too wide, not too narrow. Sounds basic and maybe it is - but sure is comfortable. Great everyday trainer. If ordering online - runs true to size. Really worth a try.

Good looking shoe that is light and comfortable. No break-in required. Real good cushioning and support.

A really nice pair of shoes comparable to Ghost 13, but lighter. They make a great pair of trainer shoes. I have used it for about 2 weeks and no complaints so far.

Glad to see that Brooks has gone back to what made a neutral/cushion shoe enjoyable. Nice fit, and style, definitely would buy again and hope new colors are in the future for this shoe.

I?m enjoying this lightweight & somewhat cushioned shoe. Some shoes that are cushioned give a sense you?re sinking into it with each step. Some shoes built for speed have little to no cushion to absorb the impact of each foot strike. This is a good fit for someone whose in between.

Very comfortable. i wore them on an 11.6 mile run and felt great. I plan on wearing them for an upcoming half marathon.

Well made shoe, cushioned but not as squishy as the Glycerin. Just started using them

For the price-point I honestly wasn't expecting much. Maybe a trainer for my short day? The trace really surprised me though! It is quick and responsive. Not to mention lightweight and crazy comfortable! I am happy to see the trademark "#" sign before the 1 on the shoe...I can't wait to see next years version! :)

Excellent with exception of sole wear at heel. Very good fit. Will buy again with hope for better sole wear. Need some brighter colors.

Sneakers looks nice, but I don't really care fir the material. It is breathable, but I worry about my toes. No real protection if I bump something accidentally.

Nice comfortable shoes. Depending how they hold up could be 5 stars.
