Much lighter than the Adrenalines and fit well. Ran a marathon without a problem. Laces don't have much give and are short - when I did long runs training, I tied them snug which caused a lot of pain over the tops of my feet as they swelled with the long run. No problem if they are tied very loosely with a double loop knot.

Overall pretty satisfied with this shoe. Long time Ravena user needed to add a new pair into rotation with a couple pairs of ravena 11's and a pair of ravena 10's. Felt springy and comfortable. Shoe laces seemed differtent and shorter, didnt like at first but im use to them now. I am a casual consistent runner about 20-25 miles a week usually 3-4 runs a week. I pushed the envelope with these Launch on treadmill because of how good they were feeling. Intentions were originally a 3 mile run around a 8:57 pace.....ended up doing a 7 mile 8:30 pace pretty comfortably right out of the box. A short slow am recovery run. Then a outdoor 8 mile 8min pace in cool conditions. Did pick up a couple small blisters on this outdoor run. Nothing too out of ordinary. Interested to see how things hold up 13+ miles. Size: Launch Seems a little bit longer than ravena. I've always used a size 9 (Brooks) and been pretty snug with the Launch sz 9 seems I coulda gotten an 8.5 and been good.

It is not as close to the Ravenna as I would have hoped. It fits bigger (longer) and not quite as smooth. Too much concentration on losing weight in the shoe.

Shoes are comfortable and springy for the most part. After an 8-10 hour workday, the shoes become somewhat uncomfortable and especially after consecutive days. Otherwise, a great running shoe

I like this shoe for my casual running. My first Brooks pair was a GTS Adrenaline 20, and I love those shoes. They were about fifteen months old and showing wear, so I purchased the Launch GTS 8, wanting to try a cheaper shoe. The shoe feels a little cheaper in the laces and upper, but it is quite comfy when running. If cost weren't an option, I'd get the GTS Adrenaline, but for the cheaper price, these are acceptable.

I am pleased so far and believe that the launch is just as good as the ravenna.

Bought two pairs to switch daily. So far, shoes feel comfortable and run well, They cured the beginnings of sore knees that are my warning sign to get new shoes.

The shoes are great but the shoe strings are too short. I can barely tie them. I bought the wide size and I don’t think they used longer shoestrings like the should have.

Great shoe; been struggling with a worse-than-usual round of plantar fasciitis the last 4 months and these have finally helped me get trending in the right direction. Form fitting without being constrictive and fairly lightweight. Buying a 2nd pair. Better aesthetics would get it to 5 stars.

I only giving these a 4 right now because I have only run on them inside a few miles, but so far so good. They have a tilt to them that the other Brooks did not have and it feels very strange when I start out, but after a short time it feels pretty good. I have put Superfeet insoles in them as I have VERY flat feet and they are doing well.

Oddly, I can feel noticeable heel slip when walking but not when running. I am currently rehabbing a knee injury so I am limited to 3 miles per run at a very easy pace (11 minutes per mile) and this shoe is quite comfortable. The shoe seems to perform well at this level but I am skeptical of how it will work at normal 13.1 speed and distance. The light weight reminds me of the original Pure Flow (the first year when it was awesome). It is also one of the few Brooks shoes I could get in the color I wanted. Brooks goes out of their way to make sure only "D" width feet get a variety of colors/designs to choose from. Try getting a color other than white, black, or grey when you select 11.5 2E in a Ghost. It goes from 17 available colors/designs to the 3 I mentioned. I went off on a tangent here because Brooks refuses to respond when I use the their recommended avenue to address the lack of variety in other widths. Anyway, for the money and short runs, the Launch GTS 8 definitely gets it done.

I had to order a half size down from what I usually wear in Brooks. Really like the shoe.

Very light. Super comfortable with good support for overpronation. I just wish they had more color options.

Definitely not as comfortable as Adrenaline line. The finish inside is hard, there isn?t much padding. They are light and comfortable enough but I wouldn?t buy this model again.

The shoes are comfortable, but did not have enough firm support for me. I wore the shoes for a few hours at a time to break them in over a a couple of weeks. Wore them two days in a row while doing quite a bit of walking and the lack of support seemed to be apparent as the bottoms of my feet began to hurt. Probably a great shoe for many people, just not me.

The shoe didn?t fit well. Although I ordered a ?D? width the vamp felt like an ?E? width. My foot was moving side to side without support. The length was okay. I returned the shoe after running in it once and wearing in the house to confirm fit.

The shoes are pretty, unfortunately Irn a little bigger I should have ordered size 7 1/2 instead of 8. I have other Brooks and the size 8 fit perfectly, this shoes are giving me pain and discomfort in my feet, I like the model but I can?t use them for running or working out. I should have bought the Ghost 14 instead

Not terrible but not great. Size is a little larger than expected. Didn't feel particularly springy or cushiony, sort of middle of the road for everything.
