Comfortable and very supportive. I have seen significant decrease in any plantar fasciitis pain since switching to these running shoes.

Great product. I've shaved 10 minutes off my 5K time in 3 weeks.

Finally Brooks have figure it out. These are the best pair of running shoes I have ever ran on. Ravenna 10 and 11 were my regular go-to for long speedy runs and I occasionally use shoes from other brands in rotation. The Launch 8 GTS is extremely light, like REAL LIGHT. The first time I ran on it, I couldn't believe it and I thought there might a manufacturing defect :D The upper is very soft and breathable, it like your feet are free to fly. The support is as good as it was in Ravenna 11, and the cushion is similar but improved. I'm averaging a lot better in my minute-miles than performance models from other brands. Please make other colors as well, so I can get my second pair in a different color.

I regularly run in the Adrenaline GTS and wanted to give this the Launch GTS a try. You don?t see ?speed? and ?stability? in the same sentence...but I was intrigued. First, these shoes are crazy light. Second, the ride was a little firmer than the Adrenaline?s...but not bad. Third, my feet felt secure the whole run. And fourth, I shaved 8 seconds off my average mile on my 5-mile course. I?m sold. Make more. Now. Like right now.

Not true to size. Too much room in the toe box and it slipped on my heels. Also not a good fit for my high instep. Returned them and purchased Ghost 14. Perfect fit!

impressed that a sneaker has the support of some leather shoes. I usually wear a Dr. scholls insert but in this particular shoe it is not needed.

Style is blah. Support is fantastic compared with minimalist launch of old. If only we could have the best of both worlds.

While not as comfortable as my older Adrenalines, I believe they are faster. My main complaint about them is the laces. They?re slippery and have come untied both times I?ve run in them. Never had this problem with Brooks before. Saving an ounce is not worth this hassle.

Love the fit and comfort, but the styling and colors need an upgrade. Think Revenna 11 which this model replaced?

Great price for a very stable, light comfortable shoe.

Very solid shoe, but a little soft in terms of support up by the heel compared to other running shoes I've had. I would certainly recommend this shoe, but I've also ran in better ones, hence the 4-star rating.

This is my first pair of Launch GTS shoes. I prefer the Adrenaline version but I was looking for a pair to walk around in with some comfort. They are light and the colors look good. However, they are stiff and the toe box is narrower than expected. I purchased and received the medium width which is what I buy when I get the Adrenaline GTS. I will try replacing the insoles to see if that adds some comfort to the shoe. Since they are for play and not running or competing there is no reason to return the item. Tampa Bay Lightning Colors work for me.

I mostly run, some walk, 50-55 miles per week and this shoe works for me. The shoe seems very tough as well and I appreciate that because a lot of my running is on gravel.

Toe box covering too thin. Also did not provide sufficient pronation reduction.

I switched to these from the Adrenaline and I'm not sure it was the right move. The tradeoff for how light they are is that there seems to be a lot less cushion in these shoes. I'd say they'll stay in the mix but will mostly come out for race day, trails (where there's lower impact), or for shorter distances.

They are comfortable but early indications are that they may not wear well. Soles seem soft.

It isn't a Revenna but i like it! Feels a bit wider in the heel, but happy with the extra cushion.

Going back to Brooks I need a supportive shoe due to using orthodics, previous experience was using the Chariot and Beast versions.

So far so good. I bought these as a replacement to my Brooks Glycerin 19 Road-Running Shoes. They were old and worn, And I was very fond of them. I bought these new ones because they had more support. I wear these shoes for lifting and running. So I'm looking for something that works for both. Not an easy thing to find. I find that I like wearing the Glycerin 19's more than these new GTS 8's but maybe once I retire the 19's then these new ones will become as liked. Its hard going from a shoe that you love wearing to a new one that doesn't feel quite as at home. But, yeah, so far so good. They're doing what they're supposed to do. They feel more narrow and pointy due to the added support system that the 19's didn't have and I suspect that makes me perceive them as less comfortable.

They are a good shoe. I am a huge Ghost fan. Tried another style to see. Wish I would have gotten this color in the Ghost 14. I have Ghost 8-14, two pair off adrenalines, a ricochet, and these Launches. Will NEVER buy another brand of running shoe

Seems like a more narrow forefoot than the Ravennas. Also shoelaces are too short? difficult to double knot ( my laces keep coming untied) They do look sharp though.
