Great cushioning and don't have to break these in like other brands of running shoes.

Great shoe with excellent cushion but the fit is just a tad tighter than my Ghost pair of the same size. I would recommend but ensure the fit is right..

Seems tight in the toe box. Would like more forefoot cushioning.

I'd give this shoe 4.5 stars, but that's not an option, so... going w/4 stars, but could possibly move to 5. I'm only a few runs in, and really like the shoe. Very soft, from heel to toe. Whether I get a little lazy and land on the heel side, it's a smooth, intuitive landing and super cush - or, maintain form and land more mid to for-foot, same feeling. It's soft throughout, and lands naturally no matter how I run. I like this versatility, as I tend to run w/varying form depending on energy, how much I'm paying attention, etc. Laces are almost perfect, overall fit is snug and comfortable - only small gripe is the thickness in the memory foam around the heel/achilles. I'd dial that back just a little. Overall - LOVE the shoe.

After 7 miles run, my wife asked me about the shoes, I just said one-word " BUTTTTTTEEEERRRRR" Probably one of the best shoes for recovery runs.

This shoe feels really nice for its purpose. The weight is slightly higher than I enjoy but that about the only con. I do realize controlling weight in max cushion shoes is a challenge. I would have rated 5 stars if it was an 1.5 ounces lighter. That said I highly recommend. The outsole has great grip on both wet and dry roads. Lots of tread for long miles and usage. The outsole doesn?t feel like it inhibits foot movement. The midsole is on the firmer side of max cushioned shoes. I prefer that to a sponge that has no response. The midsole starts off firm but softens as you might expect as it breaks in. As I?ve put in the miles you can feel the midsole absorbing the road and my footstrike. On long runs I find it easy to pick up the pace if I choose to but with the understanding that this is not a speed shoe and the weight will effect your ability to sustain speed due to its weight. In the end you don?t buy his shoe for that reason so it?s a non issue. The upper breathes really well. The mesh upper flexes with your natural foot movement in combination with the laces keeps your foot secure with the shoes insole. I did not feel any tightness in any areas of my foot. I did buy .5 size up as I don?t like my long run/recovery run shoes to be too tight. I do find that the shoe is true to size leaning towards slightly small. I tried it on in medium thick running socks. If I wore a thin sock I could have gone with my normal size but I change my socks thickness with how my feet are feeling on the day. Also because the sole will get broken and the upper will stretch the shoe will naturally get more roomy The heel counter is well suited for this shoes purpose. It?s definitely there but not so rigid that it will cause heel pain. I don?t normally like shoes that have a super rigid heel. The runners knot will help of it?s too loose for you. I highly recommend.

Retired the new balance 1080v10 for the Brooks Glycerin 19. These are super soft and comfortable and am looking forward to many long miles in them. Just got to the 70km mark from three runs in them. They are snug, but they just lack fun. However, Come on Brooks! Bring some bounce into these shoes. They are just plain boring to run in. It just needs more midsole along the front to enable better fore-foot striking fun.

Very soft to wear when standing all day or long walks but not what I wanted to run with. Going back to the Ghost for my runs.

After a couple miles the balls of my feet would get really hot, almost numb. Felt like there was too much movement at the ball of my foot. My Ghost 14's never had this feeling. Toe box felt too big. They do have good heel cushioning.

Very cushy ride, but it definitely runs small by a full size! Also the heel leans a bit too far forward and rubs at the back of my foot. Will see if this continues to be an issue once broken in

I miss the Beast. As an over pronator I find it disappointing I can?t get that level of cushioning and roll protection. The glycerin is just okay.

Very comfortable. Best Glycerin yet... But on my right foot, it feels like the insole is too narrow. No problems on left foot, but the outside of my right foot always feels like I'm stepping on something.

3 runs and ~ 30 miles in and they're just OK. Had a better experience with the Ghost 14s, which I thought were more comfortable and fit truer to size. Ordered a full size up like I typically do for running shoes, but probably could have gone another .5 up with these.

Bought the Ghost 14s and Glycerin as part of a new rotation from the worn out Ghost 12s and Levitate 2s. Glycerin is a bit stiff for me and the heel strike isn't nearly as soft as the Ghost 12s. Disappointed with the description on the site that indicated the softer heel strike.

With complete honesty: I am not and never will be a runner! But I need a good quality shoe in this classification just to walk for any sustained distance without pain. I am a woman who purchases "man sized" shoes because they are wider and better accommodate the orthotic for my left foot deformity without making the shoe fit too tightly. I've had great success for many years with the Ghost models but decided to make a leap of faith and try the Glycerin 19 because it claims to have "more padding", and my surgically altered foot desperately requires all it can get! NOT A SUCCESS EXPERIENCE! Although the Glycerin is indeed more "padded", it is narrower and does not have the "roominess" in the box that my dependable Ghost models do that accommodates my orthotic without making the shoe too tight. For me this shoe is not a success experience but, rather than return it, I "gifted" them to a male friend wearing the same size shoe (he is an actual runner!) who says they are "fantastic and the most comfortable running shoe he has ever worn!! So, no harm no foul--I'll stick to Ghost (and sing their praises) for my problem feet and Brooks has a new convert to Glycerin 19 from my friend!

Brooks have managed to degrade this once great shoe by decreasing the size of the toe box.

A couple years ago I purchased a pair of Brooks 1102892E069 and they were perfect, then when ordering a new pair of Brooks I went with the Glycerin 19. My old shoes from day 1 fit perfect, this new pair are OK, I am hoping that as they maybe stretch out a bit they will be more comfortable. In the past I have told many folks how comfortable my Brooks shoe were, just sorry I cannot say the same about my new shoes. Just a side note, if something is not broke, why try to make it better----the old shoe was excellent

I have very wide feet and these fit really well. However, the piece of plastic in the back of the shoe rubs so hard on my Achilles that I'm going to have to cut the shoe open to remove it. Even just normal wearing of the shoe (walking, driving my car to the park to jog) puts such pressure on that spot that it is extremely uncomfortable.

Good cushioning and stability. the heel on the left shoe falls in even when using a shoe horn. As I wore them more, they feel a bit heaver than I'm used to with the adrenalines.

I order an 11 1/2 but either my order runs smaller or they were marked incorrectly because they did not fit me ?
