This pair seems like a knockoff. I'd like to know how to tell. Came from Amazon through Zappos

I have worn glycerin since the 9s. I haven?t loved every change, but they?ve all been wearable. This isn?t. Where?s the toe box?! Why is the shoe all of a sudden sizes shorter? What is going on with the top of the heel? I?m very disappointed.

Been a loyal Glycerin fan for awhile. Ran one time in these and the back of the shoe just carved my lower Achilles. I run in 2 pairs of socks and these shoes, in one 5 mile run, had bled threw both pair of socks. I don't know what happened in the design, but seems like a mis-step.

Too small and tight. I have narrow feet and ordered regular width and was tight. Also feels 1 size smaller than supposed to be. I’ve always bought glycerin style before and been very happy in the past, but not with these. Looks cheap too. Very disappointed. Sending back.

I had the same issue as the review titled "Heel Seam Issue". I bled so deeply into one of the shoes that much of the back and sides were covered in my blood. I've run in Brooks for years, but never had this issue. Excruciatingly uncomfortable after my heels became injured and raw. Plus, this seems to be something of a known issue, as the guy who sold them to me suggested I get a half-size bigger shoe (which I did). I'm a 10-1/2 and the shoes with the bleeding heel issue are 11s.

I never would have guessed that buying more expensive running shoes would be such a problem. My issue with the shoes that I have recently purchased: Asics GEL Kayano 28 "$159.95", Brooks Glycerin 19 "$49.95, and Hoka One One Clifton 8 "$129.95" (and promptly sent right back) is the spongy outer heel that collapses the moment that I put any weight on in. I litterally almost fell down when I first tried these shoes on. The outer rear heel of all of these pricey shoes just gives way and collapses when I put any weight on my heel. It feels very unstable and quite frankly dangerous just to walk in these shoes, much less run in them. All this "GEL IN THE HEEL" thing has gone too far. What sense does it make to make to OUTER PART OF THE HEEL AND SOUL SOFT AND SPONGY???? What next, goose feathers????? They're not HOUSE SLIPPERS!!! Grade on all three...."D- to F"
I'd also recommend:
Asics GEL Nimbus 20 was my favorite. All the newer ones are garbage.

Maybe I am running a little too hard in these shoes but the fabric and foam sole have both torn very easily , not a strong everyday shoe if you are walking or running 5+ miles a day

SIZE is a full size smaller than what you say it is, too narrow and too short! I am size 12 1/2 in shoes, and I buy size 14 running shoes. Your size 14 this year fits like size 12, I could barely get them on!!! Glycerin 18 last year, were very good and were true to size.

I am so disappointed in the quality of these shoes. The sole started separating from the shoe after two weeks of wear. They’re obvious not up to par with the usual Brooks quality. Returned.

Bad quality shoe. Cheaply made. The best glycerin shoe was their 17 model.

I have been buying Brooks for years, and this is the the worst pair I have received. I never had issue with heel rubbing or the bridge of the shoe until now. I use my Glycerin 17s instead of these, and now debate on a different show altogether.
