I usually run in the Glycerin but when there were no new colors and limited availability I tried another brand. The first few runs were OK and then my knees began to bother me. I bought a repeat pair of Glycerin (color) which I hate to do, and I?m back to pain free running. The cushioning and drop are the perfect mix for me. Low drop or lower cushion doesn?t work, and the higher cushion (Hoka) just absorb the forward energy.

Great shoes. Only feedback is comes wide, so i had to order wide version. Also it stains very easily. Wish i knew ways on how to clean it.

It's a good looking shoe but it's too tight, doesn't give room in the toe box even at 13 extra wide. I need to return them.

Shoes are too narrow & make my feet hurt

I like them, but I feel they are a little snug in the toe box. I wear a size 15. I also wish they were a little lighter and more springy. I'm looking forward to the Glycerin '20s with its DNA Loft V3.

Better shoe than previous version

I haven't worn them on a consistent basis but when I do, I'm really not thrilled with them. I wear them for 4 to 6 miles and by the end, my left toes are hurting. Seems like there isn't enough cushioning under them. I'm training for the Camino de Santiago in Spain in October 2022 in the meantime I have been trying out and wearing different shoes for a week at a time to see which ones I will be taking with me. Definitely not the Glycerin.

I absolutely love my new shoes! That said, I did have to return them at first even though I went a half a size up from my normal shoe size. I had to go up a full size as well as get them in wide when I usually wear normal shoes. I am a beginner to exercise but they have been extremely comfortable to wear.

Love the fit, comfort and construction of the shoe

This is a very comfortable running shoe. I love the energy return from every step. The material is breathable which is helpful when running in humid conditions.

Very comfortable for walking and running

I prefer a size 7 1/2 2 E. The reviews said they run small so I took chance and ordered these expensive shoes. I am going to have to wear small socks instead of socks I find more comfortable. I wish they made size 7 1/2, 2E.

Fantastic shoes, with just the right cushioning for me. I've worn our two pairs and just got my third one. Hopefully Brooks will continue to make this model forever!

The most padded, comfortable shoe I?ve ever put on my feet. I would change nothing on design!

Slighlt new design but the same reliable, comfortable, well padded shoe you expect from the Glycerin line. This is my 3rd pair of Glycerin's, I just retired another pair of 18s after 300+ miles together and was of course apprehensive about a new model with new features. I can't say the features improved the shoe but it sure didn't make it worse! All in all I am happy with this shoe. After retiring the 18s I switched to the Hoka Rincon 3. The Hoka shoe sped up my shorter runs but is not something I'd want to be in for more than 1 mile. My typical runs are 1.5 -3 miles typically with the occasional 5, 10 or 13 mile run. The Glycerin is probably too much padding for those shorter runs but I don't mind the luxury! For me the Glycerin is the perfect all around shoe. If you need an arch support you'll want the GTS. Going from a broken in pair to a new pair will of course be snug and theres a lot of meat in the treads, you'll have to losen the laces and let the cushion cush to your feet. But its still walking on clouds.

The Brooks Glycerin 19 represents the ?Goldilocks? moment of finding a shoe that fits me and the way I run ?just right.? For me it bridges the gap between the minimalist and maximalist trends that I experimented with in the past. Liked so much I bought a second pair. I recommend ordering a half size bigger, for me it was 11.5. It is well cushioned, roomy, breathable , and has (for me at least) a reasonable stack height/heel toe drop, allowing me to run injury free for the last 5 months. I am a recreational runner running in between 20-30 miles a week training to do my first 50 mile event this year in October. I am 215 pounds currently and these have really have absorbed most of the punishment meant for my knees. A very well done shoe.

Great comfortable running shoe. I like the cushion when compared to the ghost series. I am a 10 1/2 but the 11 fits great
