I’m a huge Mizuno Wave Inspire fan. I’ve got 2 pairs of the 14s that I love. Originally I bought these 17s in regular width, as usual, and the toe box is ridiculously small. Nothing like my 14s, my feet felt so squished. I don’t own any pairs of shoes in wide but decided to give them a try and they are perfect! Not sure why they went so narrow on the toe box this model but if it’s an issue for you too, do yourself a favor and give the wides a try! Love this shoe, so much cushion and the stability support is key to keeping my feet happy.

I’m usually a 9 and had to size up to a 10 for these to fit. I put them on and they were just not comfortable. They were was too padded around the entrance and it was too stiff so it was rubbing my ankle/top of foot. I have worn Mizunos for years but I sent these back.

The shoe was plenty long. I like to wear cushy socks when I work out, and this shoe was fine for both length and width. but the seam where the tongue met the shoe seemed off. At that spot of the toe box, it felt like there wasn't enough space from top to bottom. The seam rubbed a sore spot against the top of my foot, even when I was just sitting. If it bothered while I was off my feet, it's not going to work for a workout. Will be sending back.

Nice looking shoe; I hate the really bulky looking ones. Found it ran 1/2 small and toebox was too tight for my foot.

When ordering it said to go one half size larger and I did. And it was a good fit.

I’ve been Running in Mizuno shoes for many many years! Since running…I always size up one whole size. This model seems to be great after a few runs. They added a new waffle tread on the bottom, looks like it’ll be better. To be determined how it wears Compared to the old one.

Having been a long time Mizuno wave inspire runner, I am sad to say that #17 is a let down. The heel drop is shallow and it makes the heel feel unsteady. I strike mid foot and heel so , the whole stride is off and ended up with heel pain. I had to return it, the first time I have done that with wave inspire, a long time beloved favorite. Dear Mizuno, Please bring back 1. the heel depth 2. toe area reinforcement now just covered with wave knit fabric. Your #15 was lovely !. Keeping my hopes that you will improve design in future. Ps. Thank you Wendy at Zappos for all you help!!.

Either this shoe is defective, or my feet grew, or Mizuno slightly changed their sizing. This is my 4th pair of Mizuno wave and the heel of the left foot has worn out after only being worn about 10 times. I have quite a blister on my heel from this happening so soon and want to return them for either the exact same or if Mizuno has changed their sizing for a size 8. I have always worn 7 1/2 in the past which is why I think the shoe sizing may be a bit different on the Inspire 17. I have included a photo of the left heel.

These shoes worked well for me. These replaced my Brooks Adrenaline shoe I wore from 2004-2021. These became my substitute for the poorly manufactured Brooks Adrenaline sneaker.

My favorite running shoe. I’ve been wearing this style for about 10 years. Great running support.

I ordered these a 1/2 size larger than I normally would because I read they may run small. I wear a cushiony Thurlo sock which takes up room so I am finding them super comfy. It is like walking on a cloud. I am not a runner. I love the color!

The shoes were amazing and the most comfortable shoes in the world. These shoes have amazing support I honestly love these shoes and I would recommend them for trailing and walking.

always buy Mizuno and they are great

I usually wear a size 6, but I have to size up in several different brands of running shoes. These work better for me than the Brooks I’ve tried before, as the Mizunos hug my narrow heel more appropriately, resulting in less overall slippage. My only complaint is an aesthetic one, as the more plastic-y part along the heel of the shoe is an off-white, almost tan color that doesn’t fit well with the rest of the color of the shoe.

This is my third pair of Mizuno Wave Inspire 17 sneakers and as long as they are in production, I will be buying them! :)

I normally wear a medium width, but recent foot surgery made me order a wide width. Shoes are extremely comfortable and great for the price. They have a nice flexible cushion inside that’s great for runners. This is my second pair and they are true to size. Great price for good running shoes.

I sized up by a half size as suggested. They fit perfectly. Roomy toe box, but adjustable for a narrower heel. The laces stay put.

This particular style of Mizuno is absolutely perfect for my foot shape. I hope they never change it! I have a narrow ankle which can be difficult to fit and these are comfortably snug but not too tight at all. I don’t love the color that was available in my size but that is a personal preference (and that’s the only reason I gave three stars per style).

My daughter asked for these as a gift, since she knows the brand and really likes it. She now reports that she ran 8 miles in the new sneakers and "so far so good.'

I wear 8.5 wide in Hoka Clifton. I wear 9 wide in wave inspire. Perfect fit. Ran 10K no problem.
