Good shoe, very light. Have ran 5 miles since I got them. All good. Might take a little getting used to as I run in Kayano 25's.

Nice fit and good grip. Also good for colder and wet weather.

Slightly roomy toebox limits toe jamming on descents, provides comfort over long distances. Excellent lugs for up and downhill traction. Lacing and laces have less staying power than GT-2000 Trail.

I returned these shoes. I didn't read the description closely enough. I expected them to be black, but found that they were grey when they arrived. They appeared to be good shoes. I bought a pair of Gel-Kayano's that were a better fit for my personal style.

Shoe it's self is great really nice good fitting but didn't suit my feet due to pronation in the foot it resulted in hurting my feet as the day went on. If this wasn't the case and it was made for my pronated feet I'd of kept them.

I am a fan of Asics. They have great running shoes. I also use them for training. I was interested in buying a new pair of trial running shoes because my old pair from Solomon (a company I used to buy for all of my trail running shoes) stopped making the models that I liked. When I bought Gel-Trabuco 9 I was impressed at first sight with the colors and how comfortable it is. I'm attending college in Reno and the trails in Reno are rugged. Lots of rocks big, small, and sharp pointing out the ground. I was nervous at first how would the shoe react to the rugged-trails. The first trail run was a success. No problems, shoes did their job. However, the second trail was when I started to notice problems. That was the foam on the bottom of the shoe. The foam started to deteriorate. When it comes to running on rugged trials it's all about protecting the feet. Protecting the feet is crucial for running on rugged trails. The foam doesn't do the job to protect the feet. If I was running on smooth, well-groomed trails they would work with little to no problems. I would prefer to see a rubber made soul. Rubber is more stronger then foam when it comes to rugged-trails. Overall, it's not a bad shoe nor a good shoe. It needs improvements on the soul. Colors and texture is great. Provides good protection on top of the foot. I'm glad that the laces are shorter then my other pair of Asics shoes. Having shorter laces means less chance of tripping on them.

Super light and bouncy with good arch support, but . . . The toe box is slightly tight and so is rubbing my little toes and the heels are loose and rubbing! With a slightly wider toe box I think these would be perfect as heel grips would resolve the heel issue. So close and yet not quite as good as previous pair that had a lovely wide toe box.

Der Schuh ist fr mein Gefhl nicht so professionell verarbeitet, wie ich es von Asics gewhnt bin. Am Oberrand der Sohle soeht man deutlich Kleber.

I have run in ASICS for years and have an older pair of ASICS Trabuco that I absolutely loved and got plenty of mileage out of them. So I took my old pair of Trabucos and these new Trabuco-9 when I started the French Camino from Saint Jean Pied de Port, France. I said good-bye to my older pair when I got to Burgos. I walked the rest of the way to Santiago de Compostela, Spain in the new Trabuco-9. They felt great and I liked the positive feel of the lugs in the ever changing terrain. The soles held up fantastically. However, I the upper mesh is definitely made of inferior material. It tore and separated at the toe cap. I should have kept walking in my older Trabucos. The uppers and soles were holding up fine but the insides of those shoes were showing major wear.

The colour is not as advertised. These trainers are lighter grey than shown in images. I have kept them because they took so long to arrive and I needed a pair, but I would not buy them in this mid grey colour because they look cheap. If they were on dark grey (as advertised) or black, they would be great.

I had a pair of Trabuco 4s that were the best shoes ever. Since then I have had 5's and 6's and they have been rubbish. The heel was redesigned and causes big blister issues and the uppers have no useful life. Maybe the new ones are better but is it worth the risk?

I have worn Asics for a long time, and have been a long time supporter of the brand. However these shoes fell apart within a very short time. The mesh deteriorated/separated where it joins the edge of the shoe. It appears to be a known problem. Come on Asics, your shoes have been great in the past. This should not happen.

9.5 U.S. is my size and sometimes is a little big, 9.5 in these shoes fit like a 8.5, way too tight.

Purchased the shoes in July of this year and within 3 weeks of light use on paths, the material on the uppers had frayed. After 8 weeks the fraying had torn into holes! A shame as the shoes are really comfy and offer great grip. Tried to lodge a complaint and the site will not accept the report.

I've heard a lot of great things about ASICS, but My feet, mainly my heel starts to hurt after 3h from wearing them. I read these can also be used as walking shoes and I wear them at work and after 3h of walking and standing my feet hurt. After the end of the day I can barely walk. They felt great when I first tried them but am very disappointed, especially since they aren't cheap and we're so bad.

If you order online they don't turn up and there is no feed back when they'll arrive. I've been waiting over three weeks now.
