Not the lightest shoe but by no means heavy, this is a really robust shoe with lots of support and comfort for the trail. Works well on all surfaces I've tried so far including short segments on the road. Excellent all rounder.

This shoes is by far the most comfortable, strong grip, durable, very stable due to DuoMax support system. Comfortable and supportive. Fit runs a little small - i had to size up a half size. Great traction out on the muddy trails!

I've been running in these for a week now and really like them - they're extremely comfortable and feel like they have a lot of cushioning which is great on multi-terrain, they also have a fantastic grip to stop you from sliding around. They feel slightly heavier than my usual trail shoes (the Fujitrabuco Sky) but are a truly excellent choice.

Very light and grabs perfect in uneven terrain, I can't wait to try descending a hill.

My last trabuco trainer was the 7's they were so good I ended up going through 2 pairs. Putting down hundreds of miles down in them both. This update to them is great and much welcomed. The grip is still insanely good and nicely placed from heel to toe. The update to the grip is more even so less chance of slipping of weird shaped rocks. Loads more Cushioning and support. Especially around the tongue and heel of the trainer! Perfect for long and slow trail running as well as flying around the trails without a care in the world

Absolutely fantastic trail shoes - comfortable, lightweight compared to previous (similar) models. The grip is incredible and the shoes feel great for comfortable and long trail runs.

I've been trying these for a couple of runs and they're my favorite trail shoe yet. The shoe is comfortable and supportive. It's lighter than its predecessor which makes it more mobile. It has great traction and grip and does a terrific job to help me master any uneven or slippery terrain. I feel safe and secure and they really boost my running ability even on snow mushy or icy urban roads.

The GEL-Trabuco 9 is totally unrecognisable compared to previous models. For starters it is now 30g lighter making it more mobile. The grip has also been modified to give improved area coverage. Being such a long time fan of the Trabuco series, this is comparable with having new shoes.

Great trail trainers, I had previously purchased another brand and they never fit properly so I've stayed with ASICS (my road trainers are ASICS). They are light for trail trainers and most importantly have amazing grip. They feel tough but breathable

Great fit overall; good sole grip on wet, slippery surfaces.

Excellent grip, like the lace pocket, runs half a size long

Good grip and quality as are Asics always do it and is not the first pair :-)
