LOVE the Tokyo color! It's brighter (more neon-ish) than the pictures show, and when I'm running the louder and brighter my gear is, the better I feel about my safety. 23 feels more supportive than 22, and the shoe very much cradles my foot in an awesomely comfortable way. This would be a 6-star shoe, except...... the very first thing I do with new running shoes is rip the stock laces out and replace them with Yankz elastic laces (this started with Tris in my younger days, and I've used them ever since). I've been running in Nimbus, and only Nimbus, since v12 and have never had an issue with elastic laces being the least bit uncomfortable until v23. The uneven spacing of the eyelets in semi-pairs causes the laces to basically double up right over the top of my foot. No bueno. Asics - if you're listening, have your biomech Engineers re-evaluate this eyelet layout please.

Very comfortable shoe right out of the box. The heel cushion is exactly what I needed.

They were very comfortable and had amazing cushion but felt about a Half size too large.

These shoes are very comfortable and I like them, but they are a little on the small side compared to the Nimbus-22's I previously purchased. Probably could have gone 1/2 size larger. That's my only reason for not giving 5's across the board.

True to size. My husband says “they need a lot of breaking in”

The shoe itself fits and wears pimp-tight however, mesh feels a bit weak and brittle...almost a laundry bag feel to the material. I wish you guys would expand your availability of wide sizes...but, so far, super plush and comfortable ride.

These shoes feel cushy and just right on my feet right out of the box. The toe box is comfortable, probably die to knit design. They are super comfortable but don't look spectacular and the color schemes could use improvement IMO. Also, for whatever reason, the tongue does not have a lace loop to hold it up. Why was that changed from Nimbus 22? I have no idea

Sneakers are good but the new cup inside the heel of the shoe cuts into my heel sometimes when I'm running

I've used Nimbus for 15 years and always found them to be a stable comfortable shoe but since starting to use Novablast and more modern running shoes these are like bricks for running. They are the Nokia of runners. They are nice looking and fine for comfortable walk around shoes but for sure not for running in this decade.

This shoe runs bigger than you other Asics! Very disappointed that it was so huge and uncomfortable. I am wearing Asics for years!

They fit fine, but coming from Nimbus 21, I found them thick, heavy, and stiff. I switched to the 24 and was very happy. They have a great bounce and cushion, nice toe flex, I felt the support was better, and while different than the 21, I found the overall feeling while running to be much better.

Not as wide as they were in the past. I've worn Asics for many years and require 4E width. The Extra Wide used to fit fine but now they are not as wide and somewhat tight. They are more like wide. Get your manufacturer to make the Extra Wide actually Extra Wide.

The shoe does not provide the same amount of cushioning for the ball of the feet as previous models. I have been using the nimbus since the nimbus 15 and have seen a gradual reduction in cushioning instead of improvements in the model.

not as wide as previous models, which presents a problem. the sole is narrower than all previous year 4es. the insert is the same but the bottom of the show is narrower than previous models. please go back to the original design widths.

Very comfortable and molds to my foot- a nice feel with the walking I do with a nice touch of the holographic back of the shoe so cars can see me better. However, I've had these nimbus 23 for about a month now (200 miles- 10 miles a night for work) and the right inside sole is starting to separate from the shoe. other parts of the right inside sole are starting to separate and will probably have to super glue areas now.

They are fine. I've put 100 miles in them so far. They are not as cushioned as I would have hoped. The tongue is gigantic. They are nothing exciting but they are also nothing to write home about. They are being used as my daily/recovery trainer. I would probably not get another pair of nimbus but I'm not mad about this pair if that make sense

Comfortable but, within five months they are worn out. I am 174 lbs and 82 years of age and only used them for walking. Too expensive for this old man!

I am disappointed that after many years the Gel-Nimbus 23 (4E) is not as wide in the toe box as before. I loved the previous year versions of the Gel-Nimbus (4E) because it had a very wide, rounded toe box, but was not too wide in the heel. Unfortunately, the 2023 version of this shoe is not as wide in the toe box.

This is a very comfortable shoes and I purchased two pairs. Same as other customers, the mesh on sides of both pairs breaks very easily and there are still a lot of tread life left on the shoes. I wore both pairs for about three months about three time a week and for exercise only. Very surprised that it breaks this easily.

Very comfortable shoes right out of the box, HOWEVER the fabric top provides little in the way of protective insulation from impacts with objects. Sand and dirt easily filter into the shoes through the fabric and lastly, holes wear through the fabric with very slight amounts of abrasion. If you buy a pair, never kneel on rough surfaces where your toes might drag the shoe tops and abrade the fabric.

The shoe has great cushion. Felt soft while walking on pavement and I love the black look but unfortunately it doesn't last long. I've only had them for three or four months and I only use them for work, no running or exercise and they're already falling apart from the bottom. It seems that the glue they use comes off pretty easily. Maybe I got a defective pair but unfortunately not working out that great at this point.

I'm sure they are great shoes but I returned them because the pictures on the website led me to believe that the shoes were red. In real life they are much more on the pink side. I bought a different color of the same shoe and they are great.
