These shoes felt great and were both true to size and true to width. However, I have higher arches, and these did not support them at all. I think they would be fabulous if you don't have higher arches.

I have lower back pain and crucial bottom heal pain (plantar fasciitis). I have tried so many Nike and Adidas pairs over the years, all have failed. Until i picked up a pair of Gel Contend 7 ! I purchased them today and went on my first run for a test. Let me tell you, barely felt any heel pain. Very comfortable and fits perfectly to my foot structure. I will buying another pair. Years of searching for the perfect shoe for my feet has come to an end.

I have nerve damage and this shoe helps me get through my day. On my feet all day, and this type of shoe keeps my feet from the pain that I usually have. ASICS is the only shoe I wear because they are the only shoe I have found to help prevent the pain in my legs and feet.
