I bought my Zappos recommended size which apparently was too big (which I found out after I started wearing them). I never was able to break them in and they’re incredibly uncomfortable. I don’t get the hype. I guess I just wasted my money.

I was very disappointed when I received these. They are advertised as the soft bed and they are not. Buyer beware.

I ordered this because it supposedly has a soft footbed, and I ordered the regular width. On both counts, this shoe disappointed. It felt more like a narrow width, and I didn't find the footbed soft at all. Disappointed, but appreciate being able to do free returns with Zappos.

Well I ordered 36 cause I wear size 6. I had to wear them fir a while to see if they worked. I believe they are to big and way to wide.it was hard to tell until I actually tried to wear them out of my house. Now I can’t wear them cause they slide off my feet and I can’t return them. These sandals definitely run wide if u have a regular width foot. U kniw they must be great if u purchase the correct size.

Felt good in my home. Painful wearing for 3 hours. Water blisters on the sides of my feet at the arches, blisters on my toes. And my lower back hurt just the same as if I were wearing my flip flops. Birks are not for me.

Ouch! I had a bad experience with these sandals. My first and last time with Birks. I am size 7½, slightly wide feet, slightly high arches, bunion. Ordered the 37 and 38, 37 fit well. 38 was way too big. I wore them around the house awhile and the fit seemed good. Then I wore them walking around on vacation for a few days. I was constantly aware of the sandals. At first they were stiff, then they started rubbing. After a few days of heavy walking my feet hurt so badly. I had cuts across the tops of my feet. The sides of my feet burned from rubbing. Luckily I also brought an old pair of Havaianas and some Nikes for the rest of the trip. I put the Birks in my suitcase and contacted Zappos when I got home. Zappos is the best! The nice person I chatted with was very understanding and apologetic about these painful shoes and said it was ok to return them. Thanks!
