Great for ace walking. Have been "dating" lots of shoes for a long time, these are It.

I use these for my road days. The new model fits me perfect and the new colors make them even better. I was a little worried that the heal would slip, but I haven't had any issues. The foam is just right for me. I am 190 pounds so soft foam compresses too much and throws my form off, but I don't have that issue with these. I had issues with the previous model with too tight of lacing system over the bridge of my foot, but these don't have that issue either. To me these fit similar to the Terraventure which is my favorite trail shoe. Keep it up TOPO.

was an Altra guy all the way for 5 years. Tried out the UltraFly 3 even though i knew it was not zero drop. (have a pair of magnafly too). WOW, what a comfortable shoe and a low enough stack height as to not be a problem. It is now a favorite shoe and i am quite impressed with it. You do have to size up at least 1/2 (i didn't at first and paid the price!) i am a "seasoned" runner, over 45 years of it, 30 marathons and 2 ultras. looking forward to more good miles with Topo!

This is my third pair of ULTRAFLYS. They feel like they were made for me. I rotate through at least three pairs of running shoes and these have the most comfortable fit.

I love the fly lyte 3's simplicity and sleekness. I have ran everything from hard intervals to 2 hour plus runs in those shoes with good success. I have a long history of insertional Achilles issues, and intermediate drop shoes seem to be the sweet spot for me. I have found over time that I enjoy a bit more cushion and support for easy daily runs, particularly in mornings when I am stiffer and also on somewhat hilly road runs on " easy days". So this shoe ( Ultrafly 3) fits the bill nicely. The fit is great. Comfortable to walk in. I've run 10 flat miles at a general aerobic effort with great comfort, and I've run easy runs and a 4 mile tempo at about 60" slower than 5 k pace. Everything felt natural and smooth. For me, the shoe will work great for long runs, general runs, and steady/ medium runs. (5 k pace is usually 550- 6/ mile: 7 minute- 715 felt good). Lastly, I regularly toy with the drop in my shoes by sometimes using 2-3 mm heel lifts ( and sometimes not) depending on how my heel feels. Shoe fits great either way. I have a large haglunds deformity/ chronic Achilles enlargement, and the heel counter has been fine. ( heel collar is slanted, versus vertical, but it doesn't hook in toward the Achilles as some shoes do, and the padding at the Achilles is a nice amount: a bit, but not overkill). As far as the stability components: I typically run in neutral shoes and am perfectly comfortable so far.

In search of a new daily driver? Here it is! I was looking for a shoe for the everyday runs that will feel good even when I'm sore, dry out after a rainy run and be ready for the next day, and work well on varied terrain. I was pleasantly surprised to see this shoe respond well in all of those categories. The ride on this is supportive and the upper is one of the best uppers I've worn...period. I reach for it day after day and it answers the call each time. Well done again, Topo!

Huge fan of these. I wear them for everything from Tempo and Track Speed workouts to Long runs and have also clipped all my PRs in the summer TX heat since I bought them. Highly recommend.

Awesome running shoe that blends natural form and cushioned protection. ToPo's toe boxes are wonderfully wide, giving the forefoot and toes ample room to splay naturally upon contact and push off. Highly recommend. Oh yeah!...hip color combo too!

I purchased these as replacements for an older pair of Ultrafly's that have served me well. These have more emphasis on the cushioning and still remain quite light. Great shoe!

My son runs long-distance for college, and to be honest there are not a whole lot of shoes he dislikes. He worked in a running store where he was required to wear a different shoe every day so he could describe them to customers. His go-to shoes have been ASICS GT 2000 (until the new version kept ripping apart) New Balance 860 and then most recently Brooks Adrenaline. He puts between 10-14 miles per day on his shoes so he rotates through them a lot. I had bought him a pair of Topo Ultrafly 2 because he was having some knee pain issues and I felt like a "different" shoe might help. He liked them "okay," and they were durable, but when he tried on the Ultrafly 3 he immediately knew it was a much lighter and more comfortable shoe for him. So much so that he didn't even try on any other shoe that day. He has put a few hundred miles on them and would be more than happy to train in these shoes consistently for the foreseeable future.

Comfortable and fitting. Wide toes offer the ability to spread the toes for better foot placement. This is my 4th pair!

This is an outstanding shoe. I have been running in the Ultraflys since they first came out, including using them to train for 4, 50 mile ultras. I loved the original Ultraflys, learned to like the Ultrafly 2s but am thrilled about the 3s. This is a totally different shoe from the uppers to the cushioning and much improved. Also we now have flashy colors(would like more) which was missing on the previous boring color versions. I hope Topo continues to advance this line.... it is awesome!

I was looking for a flexible shoe with a wide toe box that had a 5 mm drop. Plenty of shoes meet some of the requirements but not all 3, and the Ultrafly 3 is probably the closest. Not the most flexible but again the closest I have found that also has a wide toe box and a 5 mm drop. Sole is a little slippery when wet or sandy but overall great shoe!!!

This shoe is quite excellent: great toe-box room, good cushion, low drop, and comfortable. My last shoe was a Hoka One One Arahi, which was great, but the Topos are a bit better.

These remain to be incredibly comfortable and supportive yet responsive. Great for super long runs on roads or short track tempo runs. All around dynamic shoe. Disclaimer-I'm a Topo Ambassador :)

When I bought these shoes I was looking for a Bondi replacement. These are not that. But, I love them. They are cushioned enough, they don't smash my toes the way the Bondi does, they have the drop I am used too, and the shoe is light. I am still waiting for Topo to make a plush road shoe, and no the Phantom is not plush. But until then, these are my go to shoes.

Ultrafly 2 were my go to sneakers. I had six pairs. The only problem was the laces would always come undone. I think it had something with the tongue design. I just put 30 miles on my Ultrafly 3s. They are great! You can see how this model shoe has been upgraded by the design. Topo did a great good with this new shoe and also the Zehyrs, another awesome sneaker!!

I received my Ultrafly 3s yesterday, and I am very impressed. They are the most comfortable running shoes that I have owned. You can tell that they are the product of a very thoughtful design. I am looking forward to many runs in my Ultraflys.

I don't write reviews, but these shoes deserve it! This is my 5th pair of Ultrafly's, dating all the way back to the original model and these may be my favorite. I need the little bit of stability they offer and enjoy the lower 5mm drop. Just took them out on 8 miles right out of the box and they felt great! The biggest difference noted as soon as I put them on was the increased amount of cushion. Maybe it was just the "new shoe" feel but I did feel it all the way through the run. Some of the small tweaks make a huge difference. I love the new mesh upper, it felt like it hugged my foot without being too tight and was very breathable. I felt that the heel fit was much more snug, no slipping at all and I didn't have to lace the shoes to lock the heel (had to do that on the first two models) and the double eyelet on the tongue helps. As always I love the large toe box. There is no size fit difference between the ultrafly 2 and 3, same size true to fit. I am interested to see how the decreased amount of rubber on the sole affects the total mileage over the life of the shoe but I appreciate the decrease in weight it allows. Overall, a fantastic upgrade! Thank you Topo!
