I cover a lot of ground (5 miles+) in a day walking at the racetrack and these are comfortable all day long.

7 days Big Bend, TX, thumbs up! perfect for desert washes or trails. They did run a little warm but I wore thick hiking socks too so that contributed & had a 30-40lb pack. Fantastic on flat, pebble, 1-2 inch ground rocks, dirt, trails, & superb traction crawling on big rock climbs & wet. Con: a little mushy sole, hiking on very super jagged rocks 3'-6" for 4-5 hours, feet got a little sore. If you like a very hard sole shoe do not buy these. I would buy again & wear again on same trip.

Today is day one! Coming from the ultraventure, and mtn racers. Tried on like 40 pairs of shoes at local stores with no luck. Was looking for a bit more cushion for road running, tried several hokas and new balance, and everything else. I really hope more stores start carrying Topos on the shelves, I don't like to order blind because I have the worst time finding the perfect fit. So far these are soooooo nice!! Love the feeling of the heel collar, it so soft! Just the cushion I was hoping for! Gonna take them on their first run shortly and see how it goes, small chance I might have to come down a half size but we'll give these a shot.

Second 5k of the week in these shoes. Bought to see if low drop would help knee pain. After running for several years in 12 mm cushion shoes with left knee pain the Phantom solved the problem. No Pain after first 5k in these. Also time is better with less effort.

The best running shoes are those that don't get in your way, the ones you can just lace up and forget about. These fit the bill. First ever pair of Topos, but they will most definitely not be my last. Great fit, nice roomy toe box, good cushioning and support without sacrificing ground feel, and they weigh next to nothing. I'm very pleased.

I am not a runner but this is the second pair of Topos I've purchased. The comfort can't be beaten for walking or standing for long periods of time. I also like the wide toe box, solid construction, and lightweight materials. I purchased the light gray with navy heel and these are now officially my "dad shoes" without looking too much like the typical, white, dad shoes.

Wanted to wait to write a review until I'd run a 50K in these shoes. Performed really well overall. The fit and feel of this brand is for real, and I have been super impressed with the toe box and secure midfoot and heel. I do have to tie my shoes a bit tighter than I do in other brands to get that secure fit, but after figuring that out it's been a great overall feel. I'm used to running zero-drop shoes so the 5mm drop was a bit of an adjustment, but I've noticed my calves have been way less sore after long runs. Biggest thing for me is the GRIP. Virginia running means lots of slick trails (humidity...) and these shoes really give me fantastic grip on any type of trail which is where some of the west coast brands have failed. Only con is that I wish the shoe was just a tad lighter, but they're certainly pretty comparable to similar shoes out there. And, let's just be honest...better color schemes and designs? I don't really love the look of any Topo Athletic shoes, but I'll take function over style any day.

I bought Topo's first running shoe years ago and loved the toe box and fit, but the cushioning back then had zero response and just too firm for me, and the upper blew out with holes pretty quick. I've been running in Saucony Freedom ISO's for the past few years. So glad I gave Topo another try. These UltraFly 3 fit me like a glove and are great to add to my rotation as a light stability shoeI alternate these with the Saucony Freedoms. If Topo keeps up the great updates, I'll keep their shoes in my rotation for good. I mainly use these for daily 5-6 mile lunchtime training runs.

I plan to wear my new Topos only indoors on a treadmill or other exercise equipment. My old pair was great, but falling apart because I wore them around town, too. I bought them on recommendation of my chiropractor for the box toe and reduced heel lift. I think the new ones will add some extra support to address a recurring foot injury I got a couple of years ago.

I liked the Ultrafly 2, but I didn't love the printed overlay as it had a tendency to fold and pinch in points, so I went away to a different shoe. When I saw the new Ultrafly 3, I loved the lack of the overlay and gave them another try. This is an amazing update and my new favorite shoe. My longest run so far is 8 miles, and they've been comfortable the entire way. I hope Topo keeps these around for a while because they really are perfect for me.

Roomy footbed feels great for wide feet. Extremely comfortable & more stylish than I thought they'd be for a training/running shoe.

The Ultrafly 3's are terrific. Well cushioned, excellent support and stability, and (for me) a perfect heel/toe drop of 5mm. The heal cup fits really well (e.g., snug and cushioned) and the toe box is awesome. I am a long-time runner (e.g., everything from marathons to 5 Ks and some Tri's) and Brooks loyalist. After trying On's Cloudflyer, I gave the Ultrafly 3's a try based on a knowledgeable recommendation, and they are awesome. So good that after a month, I bought a second pair and then a pair of Ultraventure Pro's for winter and trail running. Great shoes. Highly recommended. Topo, please don't mess these up making silly, trendy changes.

The Ultraflys have a great fit and a moderate amount of cushioning for runs of any length. In addition they are fairly light and quick, making them my go-to training shoe for medium to longer runs. Great job Topo!

Very comfortable running shoe. Definitely a different ride and fit than your standard running shoe. That's a good thing though. I have over 25 miles on them so far and am enjoying them. Plan to try them for a 10+ mile run next week. Maybe a bit firm for some.
