These are the best shorts out there right now IMO. I used to wear Nike Tempo for running, everyday wear, and sleeping. But I've noticed that the brief part has gotten smaller with updates, and the elastic waistband irritates me. I'm also in between sizes in Nike (XXL is too big, XL is uncomfortably small). These Brooks shorts solve all of those problems! I was impressed by the full-coverage briefs, comfy waistband, and perfect length with vents for mobility. They run true to size for me according to the sizing chart and the XL fits great. Exactly what I was looking for. Back on the website to order more!

These shorts are my go to running shorts now. I purchased a few colors because I liked them so much! I feel as though they fit TTS, I am a medium usually and medium fits well. I am 5?7.5? and about 145#, athletic build. I have larger thighs and these are perfect. The band is nice. It comes up high enough and is not too tight.

These are amazing! So much better than the previous Chaser 3" shorts. The new waistband is so comfortable and they don't ride up at all. I have worn these for my last 3 runs and it honestly doesn't even feel like I'm wearing anything. It also helps that the pink is SUPER cute!!! Great job, Brooks! Please carry this waistband update into the Chaser 5" shorts too!

Love the updates Brooks made! These shorts feel much more flowy and lighter than the previous seasons. They?re less cheeky too. I am 5?4? and 135lbs and wear a small

I am really sad to say that I was very disappointed with these shorts. Great for lifting and once the weather was warm enough to wear shorts, I ran my long run in them and suffered severe chafing :( I never chafe so I didnt think twice about it until I looked at my thighs afterwards only to discover them chewed up by these shorts.

I normally dont write reviews. But these are by far some of the most comfortable and flattering running shorts Ive worn in a long time! Im 55 115lbs and the XS was perfect. Waistband just right, not too tight or loose, and the rise is in-between typical mid-rise and high-rise so I dont feel like Im having to roll them down or pull them up to be flattering. Sitting down they dont bunch up. I went back and bought them in every color. Just buy them for yourself before they sell out!

There's so much to love about these shorts. The fabric is lightweight, the cut is flattering, and the pocket holds my phone without bouncing. I would give them five stars if the waistband were covered in fabric, which would be more attractive and more comfortable. I also find the green/blue color beautiful, but wish the gray were darker because sweat shows too much. Charcoal gray, please!

Got for daughter who loved the fit and feel of them. Most comfortable shorts she has ever worn and ended up purchasing a second pair in black.

Perfect running short!! Im 58 and 135 lbs and wear a small and it fits so perfect! the waistband is so comfortable and the length is perfect! They are super light and breathable! Bought a second pair!!

Great running shorts. I like a loose comfortable fit and was worried when these were a little snug, but I dont have any irritation from the built-in liner and theyve been great for longer runs. Definitely buying more.

These shorts are great! I use them a lot for training and racing!

Using for my marathon training, theyre super light weight and do not chafe (but they do bunch a little on the inner thigh but I have thighs and get super sweaty training in Florida)! The bunching was not a deal breaker tho. Im 57 140lb and I ordered a medium and they fit perfect. Theyre not too tight on my waist which can be restrictive to my gut/breathing while training.

Super comfy! I have a small waist and a butt on the bigger side, so the shorts are a bit too large in the waist (even in the size XS) and the liner brief is too small. Would love a way to tighten up the waist a little bit.

They are really comfy. If I was doing a long run I think I would experience some thigh chaffing. But it's good for shirt distances and for other activities like Ultimate Frisbee.

I need these guys in every color. Now that Im doing distance running, I need all the pockets I can get.

Was looking to get the lululemon speed up shorts until I found these at my local running store! Had to purchase on the brooks site because they were out of my size. I LOVE these shorts, will definitely repurchase in the future in different colors!

The best running shorts - fit a little small so I went for a M tho my typical size is S. Soooooo comfy, the waistband doesnt dig in, there are two useful pockets, and the length is just right.

I am 51 and 115lbs. The small fit perfect. Didnt think about the shorts during a run.

Super comfortable material. No areas where chaffing or skin irritation has occurred. The band is smooth and seamless around my waist. I like the zipper pocket in the back, as it's convenient to store my phone. The only problem is that they tend to ride up to my belly button rather than stay on my hips while I run, and I have not had this issue with other brands.

Comfortable running shorts depending on color, some fit better than others. Like the built in liner and in my rotation.
